I won't lie, I'm terrible at this whole 'introduction' thing but I'll do my best to hopefully paint myself in a positive light...whilst hopefully refraining from rambling!
I'm a 21 year old bloke currently living in the middle of Yorkshire, and I suppose one could say my biggest passion in life is gaming. Or more specifically, those games that fall under the classic RPG genre. I'm hoping to get into game development sometime in the future, but I'd settle for writing my own fantasy novel too.
I decided to join this forum because I feel like having somewhere I can go to in order to discuss RPG's - and naturally, in particular, the Final Fantasy series!
Now for some random facts, I guess...
Favourite food: Smoked salmon. I'm a pescetarian because I dislike meat, but I just couldn't bring myself to go full on vegetarian because of this lovely fish.
Favourite drink: Coffee, of pretty much any kind! When it comes to alcohol, I favour vodka or spiced wine. I don't drink beyond special occassions, though.
Favourite TV show: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I've probably watched every episode, and although I've never really watched much TV overall, this show appealed to me a lot during my teenage years.
Favourite band: I don't listen to much music beyond videogame music (sad, I know) but I love pretty much any song by the Cranberries. Must be the Irish blood in me!
Favourite song: My Favourite Game by the Cardigans. Fitting for a description of my hectic life at times!
Favourite game(s): I can't bring myself to list only one, so here goes: Final Fantasy VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, Suikoden V, Grandia II, Metal Gear Solid series, Fallout series, Elder Scrolls series and...I best stop there, I think. >_>
