Yep, hello all! It's been a really long time since I was a member of any forum, much less a Final Fantasy related one, so I'm definitely looking forward to being a part of this one. I was a member of Final Fantasy Gurus when I was really heavy into FFVII and FFVIII -- anyone familiar with FFGurus?

As far as FF experience goes, I started with FFVII so that's naturally my favorite. Since then I've kept up with the main series, playing all but FFX-2 and FFXI (no interest in playing dress-up or MMOs at the time -- one look at my pic and title will tell you I now play WoW) and backtracked via emulators and the actual carts to play the older ones. I also really enjoyed all the Tactics games, especially Tactics Advanced. I've also played through Crisis Core, which I think was only interesting for the story aspect. Currently I'm in the 10th Chapter of FFXIII and steadily advancing through it. By no means are Final Fantasy games all that I play, but the series is solidly in my top franchises, alongside Zelda at the top.

Outside of gaming I'm an English/Technical Writing graduate student and a serious musician, I ride Harleys, have a dog named Jax, and am engaged to another lifetime gamer. I couldn't be happier, lol!

Looking forward to posting!

Welcome :D

ewwwwwwwww

its a night elf

but hi :monster:

I also really enjoyed all the Tactics games, especially Tactics Advanced.

you are pretty cool for a night elf if you played FFT for the PSP/PSX and liked it. It kinda sucks that it's release was completely overshadowed by by the release of Final Fantasy VII.

Ocarina of Time or gtfo! best game ever :monster:

If you haven't played the Tales series, I'd strongly suggest playing a few of their more recent titles. Except for Tales of Legendia, stay far far far far faaaaaar away from that game :wacky:

some of the themes featured in Tales of Games may seem juvenile, but their game music, battle system, real-time anime graphics, and great voice actors with some real talent have done a lot for their franchise.

Anyway, welcome an' all that jazz.
