Have you cried playing this Game?

The makeout scene in the lake didn't make me very emotional, I was just like "Yay! Tidus has a hot gf." and then I became slightly jealous of him throughout the rest of the game, LOL.

But anyway, the ENDING on the other hand... I shed a few tears, it was possible the game could have thrown an extra thing at me and made me just bawl, but it didn't, which is alright. The reason WHY it made me do that is because this game like reached into my mind made the story so relatable, that I couldn't help but think of my own life, my friends, and dreams. It inspired me, as well as made me sad.

The key points that made me choke up were when Yuna said "I love you", when Yuna was on the ground and the farplane spirit thing came from under her hand, and like everything in her short speech at the end.

I cried. I will admit, the ending was pretty sad tbh.
Didn't help that I was drunk when I finished the game, so I cried due to WAY to much Jack Daniels, and lack of sleep.

But I was very sad at the end anyway because I cried even when I was sober..

=/

I cried quite a lot at the ending, because I really like Tidus/Yuna and his death was not nice to see. Even after such a long time since I ended FFX for the first time (about 6 1/2 years) I still cry a lot, particularly when it starts playing "To Zanarkand".

No piece of media has EVER reduced me to tears apart from Clannad After Story, with what happens to Nagisa, so I didn't cry during Final Fantasy X. I welled up a bit in the end though, in a "Ugh, that was so epic!" kind of way.

I did at the ending the first time I played this game. (I was 9 or 10 when I finished it the first time.) The ending is very sad, yet also mysterious and surreal. I was able to tell immediately that there would be a sequel, and about a year later, there was one. I like how one needs to actually pay attention to the storyline during the game to fully understand the ending. It would've been sad regardless, but it is much more special to understand the actual plot.

When i finished it after discovering PCSX2 and i got the whole story.

In short

A innocent girl who was about to willingly lose her life to save the world but instead loses her love, her faith in her religion, the bond between her aeons , her parents and a friend all because of currption.

And i loved it but voice acting didnt do it for me the second time i played it and it made the ending less heavy but the ending was good nonetheless and it was kinda epic too

I disagree with FFX-2 didn't finish it then and i prolly never will.

The ending hit my hard and made me shed a few. Heck, I shed a few tears just last week listening to the end theme and remember what happened again. The tearing apart of Tidus and Yuna is heartbreaking.

I think I only felt a bit emotional in the very end but I don't think I cried. Nah, it takes something more well-developed, better-written and characters I can identify with to find my frozen, buried heart and bring a tear out of me.

I never did cry, though I am never known to cry at anything. Though I will admit the ending was indeed sad. Too bad FFX-2 came along.

I have to say theirs alot of touching moments in the series but it takes a serious one to bring a tear out of me, I wont name the other titles that brought me to a tear but from FFX the scene with Tidus and Yuna got me, couldnt help but tear up... not my fault the music and graphics forced it out of me :x

Not yet, but very nearly, and I know how it ends; I would have cried had I completed it yet. :(

The Ending scene and its music is just...

Square forced everyone to shed tears by adding the sad music, well it only worked on me for the lake macalnia scene I hated how they made it a movie cut scene, you get good graphics, sad motions, sad music cuahgt me off guard :I

I won't lie, the ending was pretty sad and dramatic. Easily one of the sadder FF moments in the series.

The music definitely added to that, though. It was perfect.

Any of the other games make you cry? I would say there isn''t too many sad moments, especially endings to these games. Which is a good thing, no one feels quite satisfied having a Ang Lee ending all the time.

I don't cry during games Im to much of a hard ass to cry, none of the Final Fantasy games made me cry. I cry when I read books.

It doesnt really take a sad moment to make me cry I normally tear up around someones strong emotional speech, its plenty of games ive played that made me do that and FFX was the only sad moment that did, all the others just a speech.

Im curious to know what books exactly made you cry?
