I miss futurama re-runs. Why is the show off the air. I can watch Futurama all day, it is so much fun. There is just something about it that I really like.

I think that it has superior characters to family guy. They have more dynamics and story. I do not look for a very in depth story line, but none of the stories are outrageous and random throw togethers. They are all intelligent and charming episodes. Where as family guy is explosive and random, and just too juvenile at times. I some times get bored with the lack of substance in family guy because it does not reach me on any levels.

Where as Fry , I can relate to, and Bender I can relate people to . Family Guy though is the exact opposite , I can hardly relate any of those people to anyone because it is always so random ,and so outrageous.

I am always surprised by what these people do, and to me that looses whole full ness . I can not understand, or miss the company of any of the on screen characters because all those characters exist in complete randomness.

The black character has little deepth, and well I just enjoy Futurama more and I always have.

I think Futurama is more impressive and enjoyable. I miss the series. I am just sharing my opinion, this is not to hate on Family Guy.

It is just a futurama thread. Do you like Futurama , do you compare it to FG like I do?

I looooove futurama. Got them all ath nhome. Have you seen the movie? It's not really well known though, but It's AWESOME!!! It's called 'bender's big score'.
You should really see it :)

That makes absolutely no sense at all.
I prefer Family Guy to Futurama myself. The humour is just generally better. Though it may be because I've seen Futurama so many times that it's just got boring now. Looking forward to the new series this year.

Futurama is/was terrific, it has great supporting characters in Bender and Dr. Zoidberg and it did very well in actually exploring Fry and Leela's relationship in the latter two seasons. There's some nice cameos from the likes of Beck too along the way.

I really like the episodes Time Keeps On Slippin', Luck of the Fryish and Jurassic Bark. They're actually very sweet
and quite moving in places.

I don't compare Futurama to Family Guy. I don't care for either of those shows.

Family Guy is probably more enjoyable to watch...despite it being full of the most random dribble. "This reminds me of the time Howard Stern pretended to be a dolphin at a hockey game where the players weren't human, but were zombies instead." I don't know if they've done THAT one yet.

Family Guy has its moments. Futurama has its moments.

Overall, neither show interests me much.

I loved Futurama :monster:

Bender just made me laugh so much, he was epic. We need a bender smiley o_o He is like a robot version of me :wacky:

I liek Family Guy, but I prefer Futurama any day of the week

Im not a fan, it just doesnt entertain me as much as the Simspons and Family Guy does. I dont kno what it is, but I just cant stand it.

I am a FG guy as well, but there was a day when I watched Futurama all the time! as time went, however, I got bored of it. I only liked one episode after that; the one when Fry and Leela get the superpowers. "Clobberella beats you up. Clobberella beats you up. Who does she beat up? YOU! Clobberella!"

I quite love Futurama.... And poor, poor Dr. Zoidberg. But I'm still a Family Guy type a'girl.

I quite love it when Fry is trying to get Leela to love him, it's sooo cute.

You smoke cigars, drink ridiculous amounts of liquor and mug people on a regular basis? :| :)

I do like Futurama. My favourite was Hermes

"Sweet honey bee of Inifinity!"

Classic.

I have seen futurama alot but now I haven't. It doesn't really get on anymore. I think futurama is interesting because it is action like. Also because the girl has one eye that is pretty cool. My favorite character is the girl with one eye because she is a brave girl.

^
Where do you live where it is not shown much anymore? On cable T.V it plays on three different channels six times a day. New movie just came out last week as well.

Out of all the recent movies I found the last to be the most disappointing. The first was by far the best, it was actually very emotional and made a reference to Symore (Fry's dog).

My favorite episodes of this show are Jurassic Bark and Luck of the Fryish.

yeah futuramas great. theyve just brought out a third film! I used to like family guy, but the complete random for the sake of randomness got a bit pointless for me in the end

i like both of them i dont relli get to watch futuramanow tht its of air i got seris 4 so i get to see some of them again, but i must watch family guy nearly 4 times a week and bbc three at night time love it

Hahahahaha, Futurama is one of the most funniest shows on comedy central. Though I would mostly prefer Family Guy this show is still funny. I try to watch it as much as much as I can but it come on to late for me a lot because of school

Futurama till the day I die! Only the old episodes of the Simpsons and FG interest me now (though some new Simpsons episodes can be sweet).

My favorites from Futurama include when Fry's dog (Seymour, I think) made his appearance (though the end was QUITE sad!), and the Roswell episode was just awesome. I also like that Bender was made in Mexico. :D

I love Futurama. :yay:

I actually enjoyed it quite a bit more than the Simpsons. I liked all of the technology jokes and I loved the characters. Zapp Branigan is one of the most epic characters ever invented. And who can forget Robot Santa? :lew:

The main cast is awesome as well. I have to say one of my favorite episodes is the ep where Bender and Fry join the army to get discounts and they get sent off to war. I love quoting that episode. :lew:

I watched a few episodes but I didn't really enjoy it. They were pretty forgettable. Maybe I didn't watch enough episodes to get a good feel of the show or to be get hooked.

I know a guy who loves it and he says it's a better version of the Simpsons and I think the Simpsons is pretty rubbish.

I'm more of a Family Guy man. Lots of people complain about it but it makes me smile and occasionally makes me laugh which is more than what The Simpsons and Futurama get out of me.
