I Havent seen a thread like this so I think I will start it up. IN the many final fantasy Games....There is always somebody that you are just itching to fight in a boss fight or kick their ass at some point in the game...but unfortunately....No dice =(*

I would like to hear other peoples opinions and thought...spill your guts out. who did you hate and look forward to beating on..but never got the chance. you didnt even have to hate them..but just want to fight them.

I have a few I would like to spill out and I'm sure I will get to name more as this topic goes on but MY personal number 1...would have to be Queen Brahne from FFIX. I hated her. she was greedy, looked so ugly and annoying. I wanted to pound her to smitherines but I never got the chance.
 
Tidus - It's mainly just the voice, but also the complete and utter cluelessness in Spira, and then he suddenly 'gets it' after Mi'hen Highroad. Hated his development, but he was beast on the battlefield. Would've been a pleasure beating the crap out of him.

I'll add the O'aka from X-2. His voice was bearable in X (for me anyway), but in X-2, they either changed voice actors for the worst, or the previous voice actor had a horrendous actor.

Either way, I'd like to have fought him and get all my damn Gil back, but I'd have more fun taking out the X-2 version.
 
I always wanted to fight Don Corneo. Not because I found him irritating (as I found him entertaining) but because I felt that his 'screen-time' just wasn't enough. He summoned monsters to fight you, but you never got to pick a fight with him himself. I would have wanted a battle in the style of Palmer (which if anyone remembers it was set up to be a comical battle with Palmer acting like a fool).

Brahne is another one, for similar reasons. However, I respect that Brahne wasn't really a fighter. Her character meant that she ordered others to do the fighting for her, and she wouldn't dream of ever taking part in a battle herself.

I can't think of many others at the moment, but I am aware that I did want to fight different people at different times for serious reasons. If I think of any more then I'll post them here / edit them in (depending on whether anyone replies after this post or not).
 
ooooooo Don corneo is a good one. Its funny how he is always just ''stealing women'' like their objects lol.

Also In 7 I would like to have fought a couple of my own characters...even with their stats and materia. Like yuffie when she trys to make off with my materia. could have made her a lot harder using my random materia lol. Also I would have liked to give cait sith a run after you find out he was a spy.

OH! also the big muscle guy DIO! I know he isnt a bad guy (maybe has quite an ego) but still all the same I wanted to kick his ass for walking around almost naked all of the time and throwing my team in prison.....than he just says...sorry (shrugs)
 
I wouldn't have minded fighting the council of Occuria in FFXII - or even just Venat by himself. I would have also liked to fight multiple judges at once, as well. That would have been awesome.

A Fujin/Raijin/Seifer team-up in FFVIII would have been extremely fun, as well. All that talk of being a posse and they don't once fight as one. It was quite disappointing.
 


I wanted to have a boss fight with titan from FFXIII. He sits up there in the mountains looking all menacing and etc...and you go through all those missions and nada...zip...he makes a bust out of town and thats it. Not battling him really disappointed me because he really could have been an awesome challenge of a boss fight for the end of the after part of the game and he wasn't. Whatever, SE. :humph:
 
Maester Mika from ffx.. That old ugly bastards annoying voice got on my nerves, plus he was a complete dick and u never got to beat him to a pulp..
 
lol, if I had the time, I can make a long list of all the characters I respected or hated enough to want to battle xD

Right off the top I can think of Beatrix from FFIX. Yeah, you do technically fight her, but she always pwns the party after a couple of terms as part of the story. So irritating, I wanna actually beat her down because I know darn well I could -__-

I would've been interested in taking on General Caraway from FFVIII. I'm sure he would've offered some decent skils. That and he was a borderline prick.

Who was the guy in FFVII that taught Tifa how to fight? That might've been interesting to see ^^
