Seeing Mits was too lazy to post. We were looking at this...

Don't worry. The purple is customizable. We can also make the sides look less bulky, and make it more flat or "professional" looking with a few edits. We just wanna see what you guys think of this skin. It comes in a few standard colours, but it's most likely customizable, just like our Seamus skin has been under going some changes.

We MIGHT be able to add this as a second skin if the enthusiasm is 50/50, but for now we just wanna see what you guys think....

So.... What do you think? :D

Make sure you select the btech skin at the bottom of the forum. =]
 
I like it! It would be great to see more of a selection of colours too, but I think Mits said it can be very time consuming doing even that. :hmmm: The purple looks good, but I think colours that contrast more sharply would be nice too. Like white, or yellow/gold. With Seamus, we only have black, purple and blue which I don't think offers as much variety as I'd like. :lew:

But that's just cosmetics that I'm not all too fussed about either way. :monster:
 
It'd be a time consuming process, yeah. I don't think Mits or myself would mind taking a day doing some graphic tweaks colour wise though. That is, if we get to doing these things eventually. It's not impossible. :D
 
I checked out the green skin, and man... I really liked it. If it was my choice alone for one singular skin, I'd go with the btech green. I guess it's just because it's a different side then the darker choices, and it just looks significantly different then what I'm used to on here. :hmmm:

That being said, it's just a forum skin. I would love a wider choice than those supplied currently(don't take me up wrong though, I like some cyan ), so any addition is good in my book. :lew:
 
Yeah, preferably if we were to buy the bTech skin, we would only choose three skins to edit... and that would be a total of six styles (if you include Seamus) to edit -- though Seamus is pretty much done now. Or we can drop the Seamus Purple and go with 4 bTech skins, etc.

I can edit a lot of the design for bTech (I think the forum row background is too dark, and the sides can use a little touch up) as I've been doing with the Seamus skins lately, but a lot of work will be placed on Belazor too...and uh, I haven't exactly talked to him about this...yet. :wacky: Just wanted to see what you guys think.
 
Woooows! The green is especially stunning. Very futuristic. The lightbulbs are such a nice touch too!

Lmao. I like the darker background, looks more neat with text on it. :D @Mitsuki The purple Seamus skin is the least used, I'd honestly LOVE the purple btech skin. :wacky:

Also, nothing wrong with being honest, people. Variety is good, pleases more people, so if that can be made possible, by all means, thoughts are welcome. =]

Yet strangely, I'm fond of Seamus Red- even the fact it's the exact same. :hmmm: Maybe it's the intensity. :ahmed:

I did just click on the smooth style... Sweet baby jesus, it's so... bright! :wacky:
 
Hot damn! I love the purple and green! They look mellow but also very modern!. XD I also really like the lightbulbs, that's pretty hella dope. I also really like the cell design on the sides in the green one. Really cool looking skins :D

It would be a lot better if the gradient wasn't there (or at least lowered a whole lot). The way it's designed now... it's very distracting. :hmmm: Not too fond of the grey area on the sides as well, but the rest looks neat.

I take it you guys are on board, so we'll see about adding this new skin. Preferably I'd still like to keep Seamus around.
 
A black one would be nice, but I don't see an option for that. We can edit one of the skins and make a custom black ... or turn the brown style into orange/black theme.

Anyway I still have to hear back from LG, so hopefully he's cool with it.
 
Just to confirm, you guys are still up for this, right?

LG already said he'll purchase the skins (Seamus will still be around), but I was on break for the month of July, so I will PM him a reminder soon.
 
Had a look for myself since I wasn't around when this started, and I have to say, I like the bTech style a lot. Personally I think having a red skin would add a nice variety since the forum tends to have a lot of purple and blue options already.

Anyway, no matter what is decided, I still would like to see this go through. If I can be of any help just say the word. :)
 
:wacky: Nonsense, can never have too much purple! I would love an actual proper purple skin, so the skin on this current layout can be changed. The purple on this one doesn't look good sadly. The new one would though. :ohoho:

So yes, I'm still for it. :D
