It's 3am on December 17th in Japan meaning after 3 years 7 months and 9 days of waiting, Final Fantasy XIII has finally been released in Japan. To celebrate, here are some new, very vibrant screenshots from Famitsu including lots of new battle shots.

Linkage fail. :wacky: Doesn't bother me mind, I saw them this morning but didn't have time to reupload them all to tinypic before college :sad3: They looked epic mind, especially the ones of the battle system! :D
 
Asabella, I think you should use free image hosting sites such as Photobucket or Imageshack if you want to host the images :). I tend to use Imageshack.

The battle system looks epic, I'm glad that it's fast paced, it'll make things much more exciting. Loving the gestalt mode as well :awesome:

And Asabella, don't be like that. I was anticipated to see the images. I know it takes a long time and some effort to get them up and you're doing an excellent job at that. Great images.

Ariana (I'm using your name too, I hope you don't mind)- sorry if I made no sense. I was rather muddled up on what was going on.

I think I need an early night. But the images of Lightning in the dusk and Fang looking like she is about to throw a javelin will stick in my head.

I don't care if you use my real name, in fact I prefer it, I always thought it was a bit off being called Asabella :wacky:

ANYWAY, I really like these images, although I can tell I'm going to have trouble with the whole racing style mode because I was always crap at limit break combinations and Mist charges. As always the monsters look awesome.
