Final Fantasy XIII PlayStation Home Items Detailed

The latest issue of Famitsu announced that Sony Japan is bringing a little bit of Final Fantasy XIII to PlayStation Home. Today, final details arrive.
Available right now are a bundle of items — all with a price. These include a Lightning costume, Snow costume, Sabotender figure and more.

• Snow Costume Set (¥600)
• Eden — One Person Sofa (¥150)
• Eden — Sofa Table (¥100)
• Eden — Shelf A (¥100)
• Eden — Shelf B (¥100)
• Eden — Planter Set (¥100)
• Eden — Taxidermy (¥150)
• Eden — Table (¥100)
• Eden — Chair (¥100)
• Sabotender Figure (¥200)
• Flower Sabotender Figure (¥200)
• Tonberry Figure (¥200)
• Carbuncle Stuffed Animal (¥200)

On January 7, more items will become available, including a Sazh outfit.

• Sazh Costume Set — Wig with Chocobo Chick (¥100)
• Cocoon Ball (Balance Ball) (¥150)

A Final Fantasy XIII-themed Home titled “Eden: Government Representative Observation Room” will also be available to Japanese Home players. The space is free until January 14th, where after that date, a ¥600 payment is required to get it.

If I were to pick one to buy out of these I would first be Lightning and then buy the rest. Is their any chance these home outfits will come in NA? If so that would be awesome and ill be buiying PSN network cards alot. I would have to change my sex though xD

I'd say it's almost certain to reach both the EU and NA shores. I think the timing of it though could be at any point D: They could decide to release it before the FFXIII release to hype the game a bit more and get a few more people into it, or they could wait until after FFXIII is released. Hopefully it's the first one D:

Okay, I don't have a PS3 so I never bothered myself with things specific to it like software, updates, peripherals and whatever, but wtf is PlayStation Home?

Think of it as a social network for Playstation 3 owners, within are loads of game themed areas (uncharted, dead space, resident evil etc etc) an actual sport area (bowling, pool, arcade etc) a cinema area for new film advertisements, a market area to buy clothes for your avatar, as well as furniture for your 'apartment' and stuff like that. There's even draughts/chess in the town square. It's just a big, fun area to meet people, sure you get your werdos but on the whole it's a fun place to be

Good luck there, Ryan! Although I can't imagine it will be an easy feat establishing a Japanese account.

And the images do make it look awesome. I like the idea of my future avatar-to-be having a set of Lightnings clothes with the sword and inside the government-themed room.

I like how the name Eden is used too- the capital of Cocoon.
