Remember the Final Fantasy XIII Larger-than-Life Gallery? Now there’s a Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children version of it.

The Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Larger-than-Life Gallery is a digital photo book with pictures of Cloud, Tifa, and Sephiroth. These pictures can used to create a custom Final Fantasy VII calendar/clock and that’s about it.

In Japan, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Larger-than-Life Gallery costs 700 yen ($8). The app is also available in North America for $5.99.

I don't know if I would pay $6 for this.... Anyone even going to buy this?

Not me! if the price was more in line with the price of comic books (2-3 dollars) then I might have considered it, but $6 is a lot of money for something as insubstantial as this. Hell, writing this I'm not sure I'd even pay anything for it. There are 100s of free apps that are much more interesting.

My friends and I just bought it. Honestly, the price is a little steep for this, but here's what I recommend:

Pool your money together. Get 3 people to each spend 2 bucks, get 6 people to each spend a buck, etc.

It's a lot more bearable that way, and you can just spread the pics around. They are really nice pics, though. Much better than the FFXIII gallery. I've got a pic of Zack as my background and it looks frickin sweet! :)

Someone will buy it I'm sure. :lew:

SE will milk the FFVII cow until it runs dry. But if people keep lapping it up, why not? I don't have an iphone so I won't be getting it but even if I had one, I wouldn't bother.

$6! you wont even spend $6.......Thats like a sandwich and a coffee.
Milk the cow........I wonder how FFVII has made For S-E over the years:US$250,000,000.....anyone have an Idea?

It's all relative though. For $5 you could buy 2 graphic novels with DC or Marvel's comic application which is a lot more value for money if you ask me. So it's not that $6 is a lot, it's more that $6 is a lot for an application as basic as this.

CLear pictures. But I don't get it. They seem pretty useless, actually. And I'm an FFVII fan. So that's saying something.

SE will milk the FFVII cow until it runs dry.

The cow will run dry. It'll be sudden and will serve as a humiliating smack in the face to SE for trying to squeeze their loyal fans dry.

...and who uses a calendar these days anyway? Our phones, computers, etc handle all of that for us. Talk about reinventing the wheel.

But then again isn't that what a remake is all about? :tehe:

Yes, it looks nice and all, but I would never spend that much on it. I probably wouldn't even bother having it for free anyway as it really isn't something I need. And to be very honest, I never really found FFVII to be that astounding anyway.

People will buy it though, anything with Cloud in it makes money even if it is totally pointless -_-
I love FFVII, but $6?? Really? I could find a copy of the game for less than 6 bucks :P

Can't you move your own pictures from the internet over to your iPhone and basically have the same effect?

I probably would consider it, since it are clear pictures and it looks pretty neat. I don't think 5.99 is something to get your panties up in a bunch over. :wacky: It's not THAT expensive in my opinion.

However, I don't have an iPhone, nor do I feel the need to post Advent Children pictures on my phone, seeing as I really... hate... phones...

This seems pointless. I can just do "things" to my iphone to get this effect, and even without those things, this still seems like nothing worth buying, tbh. Square must need a few extra bucks for some project if they are doing something like this. :hmmm:
