Okay :) Just wanted to know. It will take some time still for the war to start so you could do some evil things somewhere and we could meet or something ;)

My character: Gabriel Bloodrage
Name:Gabriel Bloodrage
Alignment: Neutral

Appearance: Armoured in a full plate with a grey cape. He has black in this style.
Personality: Calm, cool-headed. Quite nice to be around. Sociable
Weapons: Blades (Mystic Edge); Pistol (Mystic Shot)
Abilities: Mystic Arts (As his tribe calls it. Which really, is SpellBlade, remember the Steiner and Vivi combination in the game? Its the same here.)
Gabriel's level of Mystic Arts is particularly high, being able to manage a powerful Ultima spell on its own. (Note: In return for strong Black Magic, Gabriel is unable to do the simplest of White Magic)
Fighting style: Gabriel usually rely on melee combat most of the time. If he faces an enemy that uses ranged attacks, he uses his pistol. Both of which are suitable for Mystic Arts, since they were made using the knowledge from the Mystic's village. (The names of the weapon says it all)

Home: Mystic's Village; Destroyed (Where the old Black Mage's village once was. Warriors were hired to protect against the monsters that constantly attacked. As such, as some warriors choose to settle down, they went with the mages in there, and started a hybrid, the Mystic Knights, which uses both magic and melee in combat. Later on, the population began to move out of the village to live elsewhere, soon enough, the rest followed, and the village became deserted. Literally destroyed. Monsters came in and finished it off. Clean. Gabriel left the village by that time to Alexandria)
Job / Class: Mercenary (Sword-For-Hire, does Assassinations too, if paid a worthy sum)
History: Gabriel was brought up in the Mystic Village, by a classic Warrior father, and a mage mother. These two taught him what he would use in future, his melee skills, and magic abilities.

As a child, he was pretty talented (But not to a genius' extent), being agile with the blade, and skillful in spell casting. His talent and presonality made him an overall nice person to be around, so he had a standard group of friends that he hung out with.

However, one day, his father decides that he should move on and go experience the world out there. Gabriel was initially deterred by the idea of leaving his parents, but relented and decided to be mercenary in Alexandria. He left the village thereafter, and now resides in Alexandria.

Then, he heard no more news about his parents. Especially so after he heard about the 'destruction' of the village (Which really, is just the abandoning of the village. The truth was transformed as it got from mouth to mouth). Convinced his parents were dead, he decides to live his life as per normal, working to feed himself and continue his family bloodline. (Thanks to the misgiving, he believes he is the only Mystic Knight alive)

Name: Eris Dea Tacita

Alignment: Neutral/Evil (Subject to change due to the situation)

Title: To the public, she is often addressed as Lady/Mistress Eris, the “delicate flower of Alexandria”. Meanwhile, citizens fear an infamous cannibal who tortures its victims at night and feasts on their flesh. They have named this demon Nyx, the Alexandrian Devil. Fortunately for her, nobody knows that Nyx and Eris are the same person.

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Appearance: (See above image for more details since I suck at explaining. The left is Nyx a.k.a. Eris as a serial killer. The right is normal Eris) Eris has a look of innocence, her face thin and slender and her eyes bright with welcome. She has short, sandy brown hair that perks up at the sides of her head and the bangs on her forehead are arranged to the side. As for clothing, she is most often seen in elegant dresses of white and light blue, with frills bordering every edge of her costume.

When she lingers around the alleys of Alexandria at night however, she wears not her usual rich and delicate clothing, but instead the outfit of a warrior. After all, why dirty up expensive clothing? She wears an iron helmet curved to a point like a bird’s beak. Additionally, she is equipped with ancient Lindblum armor, a black straitjacket-like jacket, and a torn red scarf.

Personality:
When she isn’t sawing off the throats of Alexandrian citizens with her personalized knife, she is polite, sophisticated, and kind. Even in the foulest or dreadful moments, she always remains calm but insightful. A perfect personality like that has to break somehow, right? And that is why emotions tend to get the best of her once she satisfies her lust for bloodshed. In simple terms, she goes batshit insane.

Weapons: A thin knife with jagged edges. Although it seems delicate, it was constructed out of the thick horn of the behemoth. It easily slices, easily saws, easily stabs, and thus easily makes a perfect weapon for Eris. She also uses small weapons like hammers, scissors, and nails for torture.

Abilities:
----White Magic: She possesses a small amount of white magic (Namely, Cure, Cura, Scan, Float, Haste, etc if you want to get game-specific), but since she doesn't exactly hone her healing skills much, healing consumes a large amount of her energy.

----Torture: Hence why she relies the ability to slaughter! If anything, she is skilled at torture and also painting the walls with blood =)

----Stealth: Being a respected and innocent girl as well as a feared criminal serial killer "cannibal" at the same time is pretty hard without knowledge in stealth. She may leave her evening platter of fresh guts for the kingdom to gawk at, but any evidence that could be detrimental to her "nicer identity" has been carefully exterminated.

Fighting style: Since she has no magic, she relies on her speed and blade for fighting. She’s spent her entire life learning the yes and no’s of posture and movement so it’s safe to say that she’s swift and precise when dealing with her opponents.

Nation: Alexandrian noble

History:
Born into one of the wealthiest, most prestigious, and most well-known families in Alexandria, Eris was easily recognized by the kingdom’s community. Her family essentially supported several districts of Alexandria, various kingdoms, and cities economically, seeing as Sir Kriemhilde Dea Tacita II (her father) owned the largest trading company in the Mist Continent. As Eris was the only offspring, she was promised the entire company at the age of 18.

Unfortunately, the rules and mannerisms of an elite noble burdened the child at an early age. Every single fault of hers such as her sporadic behavior would generate immediate attention, causing commotions amongst some of the elders like: “The poor mistress isn’t suited for the head of the company” or “Is this the future of our economy? This… mistake?” Her only choice was to remain as perfect as possible. But for a young girl like her (then six-years old), an age that didn’t allow a matured sense of thought, she could not quell all of her emotions. Being caged like a bird, unable to be free,…. That’s how she felt. However, if there was some way she could experience freedom without any criticism… She recalled the influx of assassins and thieves that had been stalking their prey at nighttime, unable to be caught by guards. Unlike her, they were enjoying the high points of life, doing whatever they wanted. Why couldn’t she be like them?

…Wait, why couldn’t she?

And thus, her hatred and emotions towards the nobles, the authority, and everyone who were concerned about her were finally set free when she killed her first victim, a bum in the industrial district of Alexandria! Hooray for freedom! Although the job was messy, she was thrilled at the action of digging into the flesh of a corpse. She couldn’t live without it anymore. This is what freedom meant to her.

Her family soon found out about the murder, but they excused it after they realized she depended on killing others in order to suppress her “savage” personality and function like a proper lady in the day time. Her father thus hired a personal instructor in order for her to become a better assassin. Who knows what his name was? He's long gone now. No she didn't kill him. In any case, Eris’ father also had a customized blade for her made.

As long as she isn't caught, then the company will most likely remain intact. Since then, she has killed hundreds(?) of citizens (mostly poor or weak. Why kill the affluent who will contribute to society when you can kill people who've become trash on the stone floors of the kingdom?) without ever being caught, leaving only a shredded, mutilated bloody corpse as evidence. Some say they’ve seen the culprit, but only as a menacing, armored figure drenched in crimson, crouching over and tearing the skin of the victim as if it were eating the corpse. Hence why she, the serial killer, is known as “Nyx (Death god), the Alexandrian Devil/Cannibal”.

-Recently she (As Eris) has been keeping close contact with the Alexandrian Army because of her doubts with the upcoming war. She often encourages the company to donate more supplies and gil to the army. Despite the fact that she loves killing citizens, of which are mostly scum, she does not wish to lose Alexandria because it's her home and the place where her company is situated in. She'd even fight for the kingdom, as long as she was able to kill somehow. But working publicly as a soldier or something would diminish her reputation as the "Delicate Flower" so that thought was impossible to execute in real life unless she was mysteriously "kidnapped" like the Princess Garnet Til Alexandros and Zidane Tribal incident that occurred long ago. If only it were that easy.

Notes:
 -Eris is well-known for her perfectly flawless demeanor. Her speech is fluid and eloquent, her posture is polite but authoritative. Because of this, most nobles and townspeople respect her, in contrast to the early days when she displayed blatant flaws in her behavior.

-At this point, only her father and mother (a.k.a. her family) know about Nyx's true identity.

-Nyx is wanted alive for 300,000 gil. The bounty was issued out by the Alexandrian Soldiers and the Knights of Pluto several years ago. The amount of gil fluctuates though, and recently there has been a decrease from 500,000 to 300,000 gil due to the preparation costs for war against Oeilvert.



tl;dr Summary:
Lady Eris is a kind and polite girl who will become the heir to one of the biggest economic companies in the nation. But she also needs to "relieve the burdens" of this responsibility, and she does this by secretly killing and torturing citizens as Nyx, the Alexandrian Devil. She's not overly powerful, although she has had personal training since she was six-years old. In fact, it's her speed and precise abilities that help her stay alive and avoid getting caught. Her biggest fear is getting caught because leading her family's trading company is practically her life.

Yeah they do :) Nice first posts for both... I am going to make my way to Alexandria in a post or two, so I think we will meet, especially as I am well known there.

Oh, one thing Horoscope, 10 000 gil is pretty good money, but for good mercenary it may be a bit low tho :D ( Just so you could know)
 
Ye, I was thinking to make my character to be a much better mercenary than most, which will mean the jobs he takes up usually pays much more than just 10,000 Gil... =D
 
Fine :) My mercenary is pretty rich too ... Anyway, there may be a possibility when I make my way to Alexandria I will meet you and maybe hire you for war. But it's your decision :) Going to post now!
 
Cool, most likely my mercenary will agree, after all. The mission he's coming up for is not exactly very interesting.

It is pretty much late night :D You didn't mess up a thing and Jacel is in Alexandria... but he hasn't posted yet :(

EDIT: I will be a bit less active as I will be in my grandparents house and there is no inernet... the closest internet is few miles away so I will hop to FFF around once in a day :( Have Fun!

Oh, and Einzalith, you forgot Black Lotus who is somewhere in forest near Alexandria :) And the story will get better in time, a lot, as the time passes trough and different kinds of events happen.

Hm, looks like I'm going to meet you for recruitment this post. Well, I'll have to take the liberty to play your character for the part of the conversation, please tell me if i played it wrongly/badly, so i can edit the next time i come on.

Edit: We might have a small fight though.. It seems. I'm basing it off how you spoke to Ron. I'll let you make the first move though.

Hehe, next time ask if you want to control my char but I am fine with it anyway :) Tho, I would have avoided the fight but if you wish to get beaten than fine ;) Stupid desicion to go against Richard ... but I will let you get free out from it . Tho, I have to tell that even if your char is talented, Richard is a life time warrior, working with the elite of the world for more than 40 years, only being 59 years old ( Which doesn't mean that the age is slowing him down, not yet). That makes your experience compared with his like nothing. Besides the experience, he has unnatural strength and is very good with sword and is able to use many tricks you don' know. But don't worry, I will make it easy on you. ( Not saying that they couldn't have equal fights, not just yet).

EDIT: Sorry for god modding a bit but I thought that would be the best solution :) And he can't vanish.... Eophelia made him, but I won't tell it inside of RP. I think you should accept the deal, if you do, he will talk about it more detailed :) ( You will get some kewl items before Richard leaves Alexandria)
