Final Fantasy IX: The Fall of Mages

Well, the battle was meant to be lost anyway.

I thought the fight must happen so that Richard can judge Gabriel with more details after experiencing the fight... Anyway, after Gabriel loses, I suppose he'll be more than willing to accept the deal... =P
 
Okay. I'll be waiting. By the way, what's to happen to the 'Black Lotus'? She's coming over soon right? And Letita's already in Alexandria. Sure is crowded there.
 
Lol, sorry. Couldn't post before, run in to some unpredicted troubles :( And Black Lotus is on vacation so he won't post this year... Anyway, going to post now ;)
 
as you can see back from vacation and actively posting again, seems im getting a bit far ahead so ill lay off a bit and give others time to catch up after my character arrives in Daggero to do some scouting work for the upcoming War :)

Gabriel, hope you are fine with the good old cleaning job :D Anyway, soon when the ship makes it's way to the shores, king will hire you as his bodyguard. Fine? :) ( BTW! King pays much more than Richard)
 
first big fight is over it seems, hell of a fun one too, hope we clash in the tourney juss itd be an honor ;)
 
Are you guys taking any new characters? Would it be possible to get a plot synopsis before I decide to create a character?

Eye colour: Brown
Hair colour: Grey
hair style: bald on the top, long hair on the sides(reach to my waist)
Beard: Grey, big and fluffy( reach to my knees), cover most of my body)
armor: mixed with leather and metal(body), gloves(leather),cape,helmet, on feet leather shoes and shanks covered on plate armor, woolly pants.
four feet in height, with squat, broad body.

Personality:selfish, likes to argue all the time,dont like to be looked down at. Get angry very easily. not very socialable, like to drink lot of beer.

Weapons: Two side twohandler axe( the magic runes on this axe allowes only me to carry it, for the others it is too heavy)
and a gun(an rifle that can shoot every metal or an rock if the fit into the gun)

Abilities: can see in the dark, like it would be a day. Have very good eyes in shooting and brutal strenght when his in berserk mode, but then he cant control myself. For a short amount of
time(20 sec and 5 times in a day), can turn his body into hardsteel defence mode. Can take only one animal into my control( the time depends on the animals fury, minimally it takes 20 sec,
I cannot harm the animalt in that time, or else I will faile). Knoledgeable in mechanic. Can read runes scriptions.

Fighting style: I use hack and slash technique most of the time.

Job / Class: earn my living in hunting, but can repair and create interesting technology gadged

History: I was born i small village called Kazud-Ham. We ad an humbel community. when I had seen 20 winters, my father gaved me an pixkaxe,
and told me thet, I am now a dwarf enough to dig in the caves.
I didn´t really liked there but it our duty. My father aslo was very interested in technology, so he thought me couple basic knoledge,
later on I was able to enter the competition called "Engineer of the year".
The title belngo to my father, but the gadget
i invented surpassed his and the title went father to son. "You have very good mind" he told me. that was the nicest thing he had ever told me
( he was very strict and demanding). When i was 50 years old my grandfather wanted to teach me how to survive and hunt in the wild. My dad was
against it because he believed that dwarves dont need to hunt, only work in the mines.
Couple I sneak out the home and went to grandfathers house to learn it anyway. he thought me how to shoot with a gun, how to tame animal,
what things can be eaten and how to see in the dark. When my father discovered that I didn´t listsen him, he trashd me bretty badly. My mom never interfierd
because she knew the consicuenses. Then may dad went for a long talk to her dad. After a while he told me that he will go away now, because my dad and grandfather had an serious argue.
The last thing my grandfather told me was that keep practising your skills with gun and train the knoledge I have taught you.
He then gaved me her bestest gun what he always used. He also told me that he is going to the planet Gaia, and I shouldn´t follow him.
That was the last time I saw him. In my free times I never rested in home, I always trained. My dad couple times told me to stop this nonsense and tried to took my gun away,
but I was strong enough to stand up against him. When he hit me I mmanaged to stay up and hit her back. We had an bretty good struggel.
When he noticed we were even, he told me then that " You have gorwn into a real dwarf know, I´m Happy that you are my son".
That was the happiest time in my life. Years passed and he teached me how to read runes and how to figth with a axe. Life was good until I reach to age 132.
Suddenly our villages was attacked by some weird four legged, with three arms mushroom shaped things. They were same height as we. There was too many of them.
Many of our friends other villages were killed. Me and my father desperately fought with them. In the end we managed to drive them off. My father was almost
dying in several wounds, but before that he wanted me to give him my axe. He hold it up high and pointed the axes head to the mountain and said something in rune language.
The axe started to glow in white light, and when te light disappeard , runes appeared on the axe. then suddenly the axe falled down like a rock."I spelled
the axe. Only you are allowed to carry this a..x.....e." Those were his last words. I founded an one of the mosters left behind. I tortured him until
he told me the one who was behind all this. I tooked my weapons, supplie and food, and went to neighbor villages, and called everybody to aveng theyr family.
we went on a plane and set foot on a planet called Gaia. on our way there the ships engine suddenly blowed up and we all falled into the water and lost
consious. When I woked up I was on a beach, alone. the only things that I had left were my weapons and only thing I thought was revenge on Garland II.

Title: "The Black Waltz Lord", "The Scourge of Gravlon", "Lindblum's most wanted", "The Insane"

Age: ?? (was in his teens before his transformation but little is known about his age of present)

Appearance: Long steeple hat with horns potruding through, white glowing sinister eyes, long dark blue robe adorned with runes and red chocobo feathers as the neck plume, black eagle-like wings, large mithirl battlestaff adorned with feathers, jewels and the bones of his previous victims.

Personality: Completely unstable, extremely volitile temper, sadistic and masocistic.

Weapons: A large mithril battle staff, and a short dagger that he can flick out of his sleeve.

Abilities: An extremely potent mix of Dark and Fire magic, his most powerful spell, Shadowflare has been said to have been responsible for the destruction of Gravlon.

Fighting style: Magic user, experimentive dark and fire magics melded together for devestating effect.
Race: Black Waltz (Lord)

Nation: Orginally from Galaham, a mysterious province known for the training of many successful magic users, bears no nationality or alligence to any country.

Home: The Black Mountains, a large and dangerous mountain pass in the forbidden continent.

Job / Class: Black Magi, he would sooner burn down every village and shop than work for some petty human scum.

History: (most can be read in the diary of the insane black mage, thisll be a summary) Once an excellent black mage student, Darkrul fell in love with a priestess...Over the course of the years of study, it was discovered that Darkrul was the 1000'th black waltz, hense making him the next black waltz lord, however events happened during this time that caused the supposed death of his beloved and his slip into insanity, he secretly stole the blook of black arts and performed the ritual of waltz transformation himself, turning him into an extremely powerful and dangerous being, but this power came at the cost of his remaining shard of humanity, he killed his own teacher and destroyed the magic academy, blaming them for not protecting his love.

Shortly after he travelled to Gravlon and summoned a massive Shadowflare that erradicated it from existence, a crater in which no living thing has travelled to for many years...he went into hiding shortly after to recuperate his spent energies, after an intense battle of power with the Black mage Master Vivius, in which he had to retreat....he still wollows on the scars of defeat at the hands of the grandson of Vivi, the mage who decades ago defeated his uncle....

Upon hearing the outbreak of the war, Darkrul is drawn by the bloodshed and relishes in the oppurtunity to reak a little havok of his own, seeking to ally with the equally sinister Letitia, whom he believes in his mind to be his once thought deceased fiancee, the priestess whom he had loved many years before....
 
Sorry for current little inactivity ... I won't post til tomorrow as I am pretty ill ... high fever etc. And Ante should be in survivor ... But after survivor this RP will be on track as it has been for most of the time.
