For all you Final Fantasy IX fans, I have a set of questions! Hopefully this will spark some nostalgia. Feel free to discuss certain scenes; someone may discuss one you originally had forgotten! ^_^

Which scene was the most heartbreaking?
Which was the funniest?
Which was the most bizarre?
Did any scene in the game frighten or unsettle you?
Which part do you remember the most vividly?
Did you find the story inspirational or encouraging?

What sort of effect did each of these scenes have on you? :)

Which scene was the most heartbreaking?
When zidane discovered who he is, and seeing how his friends show theyre support.

Which was the funniest?

The wedding of Vivi and Quina, really fun.

Which was the most bizarre?
Queen Brahne, she is a total freak.

Did any scene in the game frighten or unsettle you?
Ozma, everytime he uses Meteor.

Which part do you remember the most vividly?

The destruction of Freyas home.

Did you find the story inspirational or encouraging?

I feel the story is not that great, the characters are good but at the end the plot seemed to me like a Dragon Ball spin off as Zidane just like Goku is from another world, he is supposed to be the destroyer of earth, has another enemy just like him, has a tail, the history was okay.

What sort of effect did each of these scenes have on you? :)
none really i remember more scenes from FF7, 8, 5,6 and X,in 9 were mostly boss battles that iremember (Love the Nova Dragon and Ark Bosses).

Which scene was the most heartbreaking?
When you first go to the graveyard in the Black Mage Village, and seeing the mages there mourning their dead friends. Vivi having to come to terms with his own mortality is one of the key aspects of the game, and this bit really brings it home.

Which was the funniest?
Baku constantly getting Dr Tot's name wrong. Always makes me laugh, especially Marcus constantly correcting him.

Which was the most bizarre?
Quina and Vivi getting married was pretty bizarre!

Did any scene in the game frighten or unsettle you?
I always found Dali rather unsettling early on, especially when Garnet asks where all the adults are. I was beginning to wonder if the kids had done them all in at that point!

Which part do you remember the most vividly?
Maybe Beatrix beating down my party all the time (especially the first fight), it drove me mad. And the ending to Disc 1 is very memorable.

Did you find the story inspirational or encouraging?
I found it very uplifting, even with Vivi's fate at the end. It was very enjoyable seeing the characters band together and the changes they underwent through the game.

I think my favourite scene is when the party return to Alexandria when Garnet becomes queen and everyone goes to the castle to see her. I really felt for Zidane then and I'll always remember feeling really heartbroken for him.

I also love the ending, it's the one I typically think of when I think of Zidane and Garnet. The part when he reveals himself during the play - my first time playing I was crying then, thinking he was dead and my face nearly split open with my grin when he turned around and Garnet ran down to him. I'll never feel that again since now I know the story, but I remember what it felt like - amazing. Storytelling at it's best.

The part when Bahamut attacks Alexandria as well is pretty great, when Zidane runs up after Dagger, even though he might die, and he manages to catch her with the building falling down around them. Love it.

I like the scene in the Black mage village, when Zidane tells Dagger about his past but can't actually say that it's his story, it was a really nice touch and sort of showed a side to Zidane's character that he doesn't show for very much of the game.

The discussion with Garland and finding out the truth about who Zidane and Kuja were was a great and memorable scene for me. I like it mostly because of the depth it gives Kuja - it explains why he's doing what he's doing and really made me rate his as a character.

The only unsettling one I can think of was when Zorn and Thorn were defeated and merged together, that freaked me out a bit and they were always creepy to begin with. And when you found out about Vivi's grandfather, I kind of got the feeling that the entire time he raised Vivi, he intended to eat him.

I guess I'm more of a romantic since almost all of my favourite scenes are the ones with romance in them. Funny scenes? Pretty much any scene with Steiner and Zidane near each other was pure comedy gold and the one bizarre part of the game was anything related to Quina.

Xx..xX

Which scene was the most heartbreaking?

When you see the black mages being blown apart by the blackwaltz No.3

Which was the funniest?

When the moogle bursts it's way out of an at first impossible to move bell...to get to a Kupo nut...also the moogle which calls you a bastard when you unfreeze it :P

Which was the most bizarre?

Playing Regent Cid at Cards.....which he was useless at doing

Did any scene in the game frighten or unsettle you?

None really...

Which part do you remember the most vividly?

Getting my arse beaten by Beatrix every single time in Burmecia whenever I do a new game :P

Did you find the story inspirational or encouraging?

It's a pretty weak story...and generic..it is packed up well though with a few twists and turns but nothing to inspire or encourage you.

Which scene was the most heartbreaking?

Oh gosh so many that I could write a essay about it ! The Black Mages, Vivi being bullied in Dali, Princess Garnet lossing her kindgom. Just argh. This game has so much heartbreak for all these poor beautiful characters. Even the Villain !

Which was the funniest?

Anything to do with Quina. The he/ she is just so damn random. Like wth ? :wacky:

Which was the most bizarre?

Guessing most of Terra and the bit with eyes. I agreed with Zidane when he said that those eyes are damn creepy. Then Garnet told Zidane to toughen up and it just made me respect Garnet so much more because she was so tough. It was bizarre but it ended up being really great in the end. Still.... them eyes....

Did any scene in the game frighten or unsettle you?

I didn't really enjoy the eyes on the wall in Terra but it wasn't like nightmare fuel... this game is too damn scary to play type thing. I saw that the vacumm cleaner type summon Atoms ? Is in the Nightmare Fuel page from memory but imo it's not that scary; if it occured in RL then yeah, but not during a fantasy game.

Which part do you remember the most vividly?

The You're Not alone famous scene because of the beautiful music and how it just pours out all these feels.

Did you find the story inspirational or encouraging?

Both.
