FFXIII's "Scene Drive revealed in latest Jump

The latest issue of Jump, due to hit newsstands in Japan on December 7th, features a new reveal on Final Fantasy XIII. It’s not a character this time around, instead a battle move called Scene Drive.
Scene Drive is Lightning’s most powerful ability as well as the most powerful Blaster ability and using it consumes the entire ATB gauge.

Ahah...here we go. This is what we saw in the original trailer. I actually thought for a minute we weren't gonna see battles like that for a minute there. Wasn't expecting it to be a move, though, just for special battles

Finally a powerhouse female main character! Looks awesome, as does the name "Scene Drive", I suppose.

Not too familiar with the ATB gauge myself, but if it consumes it entirely, then it must be pretty powerful.

Not that I mind, but that's a pretty telling battle mechanic to be showing off before the game release, ain't it?

Although I'm not aware if it's common for people to know about character specific ultimate attacks before a game release *shrugs*

Nonetheless, looks like it'll be pretty kewl

Yeah. Square must be pretty confident in FF XIII to be revealing something of this magnitude. But then again, who wouldnt be? This game looks more and more win every time something else is revealed. They got me hooked once I saw the the eidolons can become different types of craft to be piloted by their respective character
