Am I the only one that finds the music in FFX Soothing? Like almost every single soundtrack in the game I could fall asleep to, it is that soothing, even the villains musics, boss fights, all of it is just so soothing to me... Anyone else find it as soothing as I do???

lol once again The Doctor posting one liners and not actually posting about the thread itself. 
I love the piano melodies and I loved the besaid island theme especially. I agree they are soothing but not the battle ones though. Mighen Highroad soothing too

Mhmm, the music of Final Fantasy X is quite soothing... I personally like the Besaid Theme, like Ohri above me...
Though, Otherworld isn't exactly soothing... Quite the opposite, infact...

Smoothing edited to soothing. 
The OST for FFX certainly has a large number of soothing tracks - To Zanarkand, Tidus' Theme, This Is Your Story, Hymn of Faith, Luca, Macalania Forest, Suteki Da Ne, Rikku's Theme, People of the North, Wandering, Ending Theme - but there are a few which put me in quite an energetic mood too! The Battle Theme actually gets me bobbing up and down (semi-dancing) and the crashes in Battle Against Seymour are quite intense!
Having said that, the Black Mages always appear so chilled when they play Battle Against Seymour, so I imagine one being a little soothed by it.
In my mind, it's certainly the prettiest FF OST and one of the two I've been unable to resist on amazon! =) I have grown calm whilst listening to it and it always puts me in a positive, thoughtful mood.

But seriously Minus the very few exceptions I feel like this whole soundtrack could be a lullaby... I might buy the cd just to listen to it while I sleep
Hymn of the Faith is by far my favorite for some reason... I can't really say why...just...calms me completely...

My favorite till this day is FFX-2 titlescreen theme Eternal Light is it?? Man it captivated me since day one. Have it even on my profile here lol. Back in the days I didnt even play the game sometime and listened to tht song for like ten times haha. So epic.
What's more memorable is that tons of ppl have played this song on the piano and uploaded their vids to youtube. I have read several comment from ppl tht claimed tht eternal light inspired them to even play piano.

Yup, and I've done it. They have that playlist crap on Youtube now, so after the song is over, it automatically goes to the next. I have a X OST playlist that I like to fall asleep to often.
I remember in elementary, I'd always, always play 'Besaid', unplug the yellow part of the cord (cause yellow is video), and just snooze forever.
