I think these are really great re-creations by a youtube user. They were done using minecraft. As expected, while watching them, you get all nostalgia-ish (even though I played FFVI relatively late). This guy sure has lots of patience. He payed a lot of attention to details.

These are all pretty incredible! :) The graphics remind me of Mario on the N64, particularly Mario Kart. :hmmm: The first two videos are particularly interesting as the 3D perspective brings out a few details I missed in 2D! ^_^

After watching these, I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of FFVI with modern graphics on the PS3/360! It's an old enough game to feel refreshing. :grin:
 
I am amazed by narshe 3d remake mostly because of that kefka's painting. Would be really good to see a 3d remake of this game.
Kratoscar: I guess that feeling of yours derives simply by nostalgic based opinion. Objectively speaking the detail and personality that 3d games is bigger then those of the 2d games (Speaking of ff's).
 
i really like the Narshe one. and i agree with everbody that said there should be a full FFVI 3D remake. shit, make an HD 2D remake for a handheld and a 3D one for consoles.
 
This only makes me want a remaster of the game even more. :cry: I remember finding some pics of a remodel of Narshe on Deviantart and thinking how awesome that town would be in better graphics. :( Zozo would be very interesting to see as well!
 
I think u mean remake. Remaster is what ffx is getting. Regardless it might be nice. But for some reason i see this game having the most yoshitaka amano influences.
