A city stood alone in the middle of nature. Lights were on, shops were open, very few doors were locked. The city itself was massive, skyscrapers are in the center. It seems to have everything. Except one thing: it is devoid of human life. Nothing is actually working, it is set on auto-matic things. A number of places have been shut down due to being inactive, and require a human hand to start them up.
Humans come against their will.
:my character:
Orion had gotten home from school, done what little homework he had, then read a book. After a time, he got bored, leaned back and looked out the window at his room. "The stars... so peaceful around here. Shame my parents are away." Orion's parents traveled, often, leaving Orion home alone frequently. Not that his parents worried, as they knew Orion was intelligent enough to take of himself. It was still lonely. Orion sighed, then shut out the lights, drifting off to sleep.
:Some time later:
Orion awoke to sunlight streaming down on his head. He groaned, putting an arm over his eyes to blot out the harsh glare of the sun, rolling over on the roof he was on.
Wait a minute. Sun, roof?
Orion suddenly sat bolt upright, looking around anxiously. He was on a rooftop, and the sun was shining where he could see it. "Ok, either i'm dreaming, or something very, very weird is going on." Orion groaned as he got up, realizing that he wouldn't be sleeping in today. "Great. One day i'm home alone, the next, i'm stuck in this totally random.... I'm going to say city because i can't see an end from where i am." Indeed, the area around him was filled with buildings, though it seemed... empty.
"May as well get down off this roof, see what i can find." Orion turned to find a ladder on the wall, leading down to the ground. "Good. Means i don't have to jump." Orion had jumped from his own roof multiple times because he accidently knocked down the ladder. It hurt, but he gotten skilled enough at it that he didn't break anything now.
Climbing down the ladder, Orion was looking around, his body tense. Something didn't seem right. As he touched the ground, Orion looked across the windows of the house. All the lights were off. Strange. Orion went over and knocked on the door politely, only for it to open as he did so. "Not locked? Creepy..."
Orion entered the door, opening it a little wider. "Hello? Anybody here?"
OOC: A. This is definitely not my life. Like i said, totally different character, aside from personality. B. You can RP in third or first-person, whichever you prefer. C. Try to start off with your day ending, and then appearing somewhere in the city.
