FFF is in decline...

Honestly I think its great that you guys hunger for topics so badly but we still get tons of new registrations and topics every day. If you can't find anywhere to post then you are either blind, dumb, or not spending enough time away from your computer.

Not tons; I've noticed registrations and threads have been reduced to a mere trickle compared to a month ago.

Not one, not two, but 3 server moves kinda killed it and then the hack might have finished it off.

Meh, we just have to be vigilant, start up new threads (hint hint :lol), and keep posting like usual, and maybe it'll catch on.
 
Well after the incidents of this month and the server changing and all that a lot of people have stopped popping around, perhaps they could not log on for a while and ended up leaving for good.

A way you can help make it more active is to PM anyone you know on this forum who hasnt been active for a while, and see if that brings them back.

I dunno, just wait for things to pick up again i guess. after The December Incident it was dead for a month, we just need to wait for it to pick up again..
 
There are 327 new posts, all in separate threads, that have been posted in the last week. And this is coming from me... the person who right now has the highest post count for the week (one ahead of AG lol)... meaning that it's even more for you people who have posted less. If that's not enough to keep you satisfied, you really need to go outside and get a life. Chances are though, you're just not looking where you need to be. You are good at bitching though. People here have that mastered.
 
I think it would be easier to send mails or talk via msn with the people who don´t come here...since they wont see the PMs if they don´t come unless they have that private message receiving thing...

I wouldn't say it's in "decline"...more like, "slow lately", which is...normal. Forums do lose activity a few hours/days/weeks...but I don't think it's in decline because we're all still here...posting away. It all depends on how much each and every one of you post a day.

For instance, I'll post one or two posts a day (or 0...but that's rare), and some may do the same...there goes the forum activity. But then the next day or two, I'll post 10 or more posts...as some of you may. Voila, activity's back. It all depends on the overall posts of everyone and how much time they can dedicate to this forum.

Now if you're talking about new members that haven't been posting...isn't that usually the case anyway? There's over 6,000 members here and only a few hundred shows up and actually post (if even that many). But hey, even if that's the case, FFF is still growing - post-wise, member-wise, thread-wise, etc. And that's because it has "us" as members. ;)

Same goes with other forums.

I think that the sudden lack of activity is resulting in twiddling of the thumbs, thus resulting in the majority of us having nothing to do, thus resulting in self involved behavior such as we see on that retched, repulsive show, my super sweet 16.
