[FF XII] Best Guest

I haven't finished it, but right now, Larsa hands down.

He died a lot in the jungle place, but his unlimited potions make up for it.
 
Larsa gets my vote. Though he wasn't much of a fighter, his unlimited potions if what made him a worthwhile addition to the party in my opinion.
 
larsa obviously cause the elder wyrm would have been MUCH harder without him.
though reddas was good as a tank his clothes were just...wrong...though...
 
I...hated guests. I hated the fact that couldn't control them, so in times when you had to run away from strong enemies they just sat there and attacked getting them selves killed!
And then in those other times when they went and attacked some enemies that I didn't want them to attacked that really ticked me off too v.v

Vossler and Larsa/"Lamont" were my favorites. Vossler was good because of that giant obelisk of his (In the Dreadnaught, it was cool watching him knock Imperials sprawling on the floor!) and when he is in HP Critical, he uses Balance. Useful if he's a high level. Larsa was more of my favorite and he helped train in the Lhusu Mines (except when he wimped out, the snake)- I'd attract like 10 skeletons and let one character handle them all while Lamont chucked Hi-Potions. Truly helpful. He was less helpful in Golmore because all the enemies triple-teamed him.
If Larsa used that giant cleaver he uses TO FRIGGIN' BLOCK, then he would be the best.
 
Larsa was easily the best and most useful guest. His potions were life savers and allowed me to do some serious leveling up while he was with me.
 
Larsa was the best guest in the game due to the unlimited amount of Hi Potions he was stacked with during battle that made it easier for me to adventure through. I basically did alot of leveling up with my characters when he was around because of that.
 
Larsa by a mile, he was a really useful and cool guess character unlike Vossler and Reddas who where annoying and lame.

Shame Larsa couldn't have been made a permanent playable character instead of the usless and ultra annoying Vaan and Penello. XP

It really is a shame. I remember playing the game and hoping the whole time that Larsa would become part of the perma party. x'D Simply because... they really started to make it seem that way. :/ They teased you. D<
 
It's gotta be Reddas for me he was a force indeed, although he didn't have infinite potions or anything he had strength and the abitity to always hit which came in real handy, plus he looks amazing, his swords were cool as fook and i like his voice.

Now there was a man who i wanted in my party at all times.
 
Reddas gets the nob from me. You gain him at a 40's level I think so his strength is fairly decent, and then you find out more and more about his past and involvement with the Judges as the game draws to an end.

He makes the ultimate sacrifice so that your party can continue and succeed in their quest to defeat Vayne's cruel intentions.
 
Reddas is the best guest imo, He is useful for the hunts because a team of 4 is better than 3 anyday expecially for some of those nasty hunts.
 
I don't like any but Larsa was my favorite of any. He had a ton of hi-potions and had Telekinesis, when I didn't.
 
Larsa, easily. That massive 300+ chain of Redmaws I got in the mines where you fight Tiamat was all thanks to him.
 
I always though Reddas, purely because it was good having another tank in my team. But looking back at other peoples posts, when I (eventually) get round to playing through XII again, I'll look at using Larsa more effectively!
 
Larsa most definitely he was awesome, he was strong, he cured you, he had the most awesome weapons, and he had a cool voice, and his romance with Penelo was so Cute^_^ He should have been a permanent character, I think. He was cooler than Vaan....
 
It's all based on the point in the game. Reddas sucked for me because I got him before I maxed my levels so he was at level 70 doing 2000 dmg while I was at 99 on all chars doing 9999. So he sucked at that point. But early on when levels didnt matter Larsa was great ebcause he actually helped me heal lol
