Fellow gamers i do apologize for the title and yep like the title said and i still love the classics of PS1 games and PS2 games and yes one of my favorite games is as one of the examples is Mortal Kombat trilogy and i was curios so please read this thanks.

Fellow gamers is classic games like Mortal Kombat trilogy as one of the examples is still popular or am i and my dad are only ones who still love the classics?

Sorry for asking this and yes i still love both the classics and the other games besides the classics and i was curios since most people if not some people only care about graphics some people acts like this"oooooo graphics is so awesome i fucking love this game".

No no i didn't say all gamers i am speaking in general and i said most if not some gamers are like this and when and if you play games with crappy graphics and it is fun they make fun of you or put you down for that what the heck.

And yes some of my favorite games is classics and yes one of my favorites is indeed Mortal Kombat trilogy for PS1 and yes i love other games too besides the classics if i tried it already and if i love it if you think I'm too old or insane since I'm 24 years old gamer guy i fully understand and yes one of my other favorites i admit it is toy story 2 for PS1.

And yes i love gaming,i love anime and i love manga anyway thanks for your answers and thanks for your honesty
 
MK T is so great i havent played it too much lately but is still great ONLY if you play with a friend because the AI is pretty cheap, only using Noob Saibot i have been able to beat the game. In my younger days i went to the arcades to rip spines and dismember limbs and i was known as the "Brutality guy" because i knew all characters brutalitys.

I dont like one bit the new 3D entries, there is something that the series lost after the transition, MK T is the best MK i have played and along GG and SF one of my favorites fighting games. My favorite character is Stryker.

Awesome man at least now i know me and my dad are not only ones who still love the classics like i do and may i ask if i ever play more of my favorite classics and all time favorite classics and if i collect more of any of my favorite games/all time favorite games if they are classic or not depends on the games and even if i start collecting the soundtrack of that game i loved.

should i hide my taste in gaming from all fellow gamers like myself?
 
Quit it already! You dont need aprovation of ANYONE just be yourself nothing more, when you like a thing you like it and thats it if people dont understand that then they arent your friends.

i tell you this because i myself have to endure people that want me to fit society by being someone i am not, by dressing as most do or going at midnight clubs and other craps like that. Just be true to yourself and enjoy it.

Classics are anything that makes you remember how awesome that game is despite not having today standars.

I hope that it wasnt because i seemed mad or something like it, see you are a cool guy and no matter what i could say to you you must stand for who you are and pay no mind to those who dont accept you. Its just an advice i dont want you to stop asking just because i told you but because you realize that no answer matter because what you really think is what matter no one else.
 
You wanna talk about classic? I have my sega and nintendo and super nintendo hooked up, I play shining force, Super Mario World, and DUCK HUNT! along with a few other games... now those are classics.


But Mortal Kombat in the early days was amazing, the first 3 are the best, after that...meh... trying to make a real story out of Mortal Kombat was just terrible idea IMO
 
I did use to own an Atari 7800 which I played all the nice Atari games on, Donkey Kong was my favorite :D
Then Probably Astroids... those are the only two games I really remember owning, my dad had 2600 games... but he sold both systems at a garage sale... :rage:
 
To the OP, you need to stop making threads of seeing if your the only person out there that likes (Insert object or event etc here), your not the only one out there pal. Just need to find the right people to do so, I can kind of relate to kratoscar2008 with the whole, people wanting you to be different for the sake of you blending in with society. I don't go clubbing etc, I play the odd sport etc and that is it. I love my games, I love my movies etc :) Be yourself as kratoscar2008 said.

On subject....well the fact that I didn't get my own console till the Phillips CD-I.....(SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THEY KNOW THE SYSTEM??! haha) so I was used to the classics of Dragon's Lair and Lost Eden which imo are awesome games. I did play some Donkey Kong and good old fashioned Sonic of the Sega :P Mortal Kombat I had played a bit but never could get into, I bought the latest one and enjoyed that :D
 
I love classic games ! The oldest I've played has to be Space Harrier which was made in 1985 ! 8(

I honestly prefer most classic games compared to games today. Games today they all just feel like war games and shoot em ups.... in war. Games in the old times used to have so much fantasy and creative emotions. Now it's just kill people and be a solider. Wow. :jtc:

Sonic the hedgehog, old street fighter, old pokemon games, old MK games, old N64 and SNES and Genesis Games are just really fun, unique and amazing. Even though they don't have the best graphics or style they're really fun and all good to play many countless times.
