*Eureka Academy*

Where the bloody hell are we?

Eliane also wondered where they were teleported to. It became clear when the monk looked over to the side that they were at sea, and Eureka was nearby.

"Looks like we're on a boat." It was only when she heard some fighting going on below deck that she realized where her comrades are. "Zee, come on!" Eliane headed below deck where she saw Diaga students.

"What the, there's more of them?" But before he could give the order, Eliane knocked the man down with a bare palm to the chest. This was followed with Eliane drawing her hookswords. and blocking an attack from a lance wielder. Eliane quickly disarmed him followed by stabbing the man with the bottom blade below the hilt.

OOC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD9RbJcNFuc&feature=related (it fits if you think about when this is played.)

The other student council members would hear a scream from the other end of the hall, followed by it abruptly being cut short. This was another student facing off against Orion, who had earned a knee in the groin and then decapitation with his own blade for his efforts. Orion brought the longsword he had stolen off the dead body back, looked at it, shrugged, and then tossed it at the oncoming horde of students.

Orion's daggers were now put away: instead, he was fighting hand-to-hand and using the weaponry his opponents had dropped to do much more damage. Picking up a greatsword that was useless in this kind of situation (blade was too big to maneuver!), he threw it with great force at the students in front of him, killing a couple due to it's length piercing many, and injuring others; more importantly, they were tossed back.

Picking up a spear, Orion glanced back at Stella and her group and saw Eliane and Escaflowne advancing towards them, coming in Stella's direction. "It's about time... Guess I better start finishing these guys off so we don't have to worry about strikes from the rear." This was being muttered as Orion reared back and threw the spear like a champion javelin thrower, piercing even more Diaga students, in a few cases sending the entire spear through their bodies.

Picking up an axe, he got ready to chuck that as well, focusing entirely on his own group. Stella could handle hers, even more so since Escaflowne and Eliane were coming from behind. Orion had to fight his group solo, though, so he couldn't bother talking to the others. Just a steady stream of taunts, muttered curses, and a few low-toned comments. Orion's rampage was becoming more clear, though, as the hallway in front of him was decorated with red patches in various shapes and sizes, due to the spray of blood from the weapons striking arteries, and the floor itself was a deep crimson.

OOC: I really wonder, do we really kill them? I mean, we're just students with above normal powers and so are they. Do we actually go and off em? Monsters are one thing, but humans, especially guys less than 20 yr old?

Escaflowne

Indeed, the floor began to rock, meaning they were on water. Not that it matters. Anywhere was good. Eliane ran down the steps into the belly of the ship and Escaflowne made to follow when a Daiga student threw a barrel, cutting her off from going through the door. The boy charged with his twin batons in hand, flailing. He was an easy target.

Come and get it.

From her eyes, the boy was green as green could get and was more like 15. No need to take him seriously. As usual, Escaflowne drew Touhou vertically and made to swing the long sword horizontally when it suddenly jarred to a halt.

What the...?

Her beloved blade had embedded itself into the wall of the boat. She was standing not at either end of the boat in open space, but in the side corridors. It was so narrow that even with a normal katana, it would have been difficult to fight efficiently. Escaflowne released both hands from her blade as the two batons swung straight at her head. Using the stuck Touhou as a shield, the batons smacked straight into the blade, stopping its path. Sliding under the blade, Escaflowne used her hands to push herself from the floor, curling her legs into a ball before launching a two footed spring kick straight into the boy's stomach. The force from her hands and legs sent the boy into the air before Escaflowne twisted to her feet and ended with a Straight kick as he fell, K.Oing him.

Tch. What a bother....

Escaflowne wiggled Touhou free and slipped it back into its sheath and back onto the back of her waist. It was useless in this situation. With a flick of her ring fingers and depressing her toe in her boots, Her hidden blades on her wrist and foot slid out with a deadly sounding Schthick as she descended down into the ship.

(OOC: Well you don't have to if you don't want to. You're not being forced to kill them. Serious injuries sure but whatever. It's them or us. You could just make it so you knock them out. And Diaga is a strictly fighting style academy. They posses no abnormal abilities at all. Just combat. And that's why they hate us...)

Stella was both suprised and trelieved when she saw her two comrades rushing towards her. It looks like Pharra wouldn't come after all...

"Okay listen up Eureka!" Stella shouted. "We have to destroy this boat and everything in it!" Do not let a soldier walk out of here alive, for the sake of our school is at hand. I'll explain the rest to you two later." Stella said glancing at Eliane and Zee.

(Sorry Orion, Stella prefers a darker theme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1jQKpse7Yw)

Stella went rushing at a group of diaga students. With a mighty swoop, a gush of wind went rushing towards them knocking them back on their feet. Stella was headed towards the deack where she could do more damage. As she got there, Another group of students appeared, Stella stabbed the ground with her rod and a giant chunk of the deack where the students where standing caved in to the floors below.

Harnesting the powers of the water around the boat, Stella no longer needed the rod to control the elements now that she was out in the open, Power flowed to where wind began to blow around her. "GET TO DESTROYING THEM ALL!" Stella commanded as she created a giant wave in the ocean and channeled the water to crash into the enemies entering the ship decks from above.

Stell used the wind to propel herself upwards and grabbed onto a bar of the upper deck. A nearby studetn saw her and stomped on her clenchd fist, then kicking her in the face to where she flew back down to the lower deck.

Her landing wasnt hard as she cushioned herself slightly with the wind pusing her upwards before she made contact with the ground. Pain...it came lightning fast towards her, but she shook it off as she got back up. The male student who had hurt her before had jumped down onto the lower deck. He was huge, with muscles and much taller than her. Stella knew she would be in for a fight.

Using the wood floorboards of the deck, Stella summoned a sharp sickle to block her as the student's fist came launching towards her. HEr broke the wooden sickle and Stella jumped out of the way in time to create alot more sickles shooting up from the wooden deck.

"You really shouldn't mess with a girl." Stella spoke slyly as she conjured another wave from the nearby ocean and channeled the water towarss the student. It hit like a heavy impact but didn't move him. Stella, now drenched for now reason would decide that she would have to resort to hand to hand combat.

She then grabbed her rod and began channeling the power of the boat's steel.

OOC: Okay. So we kill them then. Niice.

Escaflowne

"Okay listen up Eureka! We have to destroy this boat and everything in it!" Do not let a soldier walk out of here alive, for the sake of our school is at
hand. I'll explain the rest to you two later."

The president has spoken. It was not Daiga's luck today. Escaflowne depressed another button in her boot and her heel blade jumped out. In such tight quarters, nothing beats hand to hand. Her first target was a burly man rushing towards Stella. Since Escaflowne was still at the foot of the staircase, he did not see her. However, that did not stop the wrist blade from plunging into his right lung as he passed. Like a rock, he dropped to the ground, wheezing. Nonchalantly, she walked over the man and into the fray. Taking advantage of the confusion of the melee, Escaflowne did not go by her usual honour code of frontal attacks. Her weapon was ill suited for it. Instead, She took advantages of turned back and attention. Her blades sunk into opponents after opponents and before long, there was a noticeable clearing within her immediate reach.

Oi! Get that bitch!

They finally took notice of Escaflowne and a whole group began to converge. It was not an entirely favourable position Escaflowne liked to be in and just as she was about to take them on directly, she saw Stella go onto the top deck. Escaflowne decided to brave possible stray water attacks from Stella's fight in exchange for using Touhou.

The charging enemies followed like sheep as Escaflowne skipped back up the steps. It was the perfect ambush position. Just as she jumped back and cleared the doorway, Touhou flew out in a horizontal flash, opening a large deadly gash across the chest of the first to exit. Now, the group was stuck with standing still, or brave the blade that covered the door. There was a moments hesitation, but Escaflowne was not that patient. A straight jab caught one in the left chest, dropping him before the rest steeled their balls and ran for the door.

Eliane heard her president's idea and nodded. "Leave no trace" She thought in her head as she kicked a Diaga student in the gut and then run her blade down from the side of the neck to the rib. It would be impossible to use swinging weapons in such tight quarters, so Eliane wound up sheathing one of her hook swords, using the other one to fight.

A Diaga Student using Claws decided to face Eliane in combat. Quickly sheathing her sword, the Diaga student went ahead to strike out at her, throwing a straight punch that Eliane ducked and countered with 4 jabs to the chest. The student tried to counter with a left hook. But Eliane dodged it, twisted his arm, and sent him overboard. The Student screamed as he fell into the ocean.

"Can't be too many remaining."

Another Diaga Student appeared, this time with twin broadswords and gunning for the Eureka StuCo Member. Eliane quickly drew both hookswords and began dueling him. The female broadsword user swung at Eliane's neck, which she narrowly dodged and countered with a swing of her own. The Diaga student blocked the swords and they were now caught in a blade lock with neither side showing any headway.

Orion nimbly ducked below a blade before stabbing the man in the groin. "Seriously guys? You left me here all alone?" Orion muttered as the student in front of him dropped to the floor and he stood. This was getting tiresome. He sheathed his daggers quickly and took out two round objects from his pockets, holding them up so they were visible to all in the hallway.

"NEXT PERSON TO ATTACK ME IS GOING TO MAKE ME SET THESE OFF, CAPEESH?!?!?!?!" This was a roar, and a very intimidating one, since the one roaring had explosives. The Diaga students halted in their charge. "Now then, where the hell would your boiler room be?" Orion asked, still holding the bombs. They pointed in the direction, and cleared a path. Don't mess with a guy with a bomb. Orion walked in that direction, still holding the bombs up.

"Good thing I grabbed these earlier... these guys need better security for their armory, I swear." Orion turned into a doorway and looked inside. Yep, boiler room alright. He only needed one bomb, since only one of them was an actual explosive. The other was filled with Knockout Gas. Quietly placing the bomb down and setting it for 5 minutes, Orion rushed out of the boiler room, closing the door behind him. He then ran back down the hallway, running past Eliane with a simple "Move it or lose it! This place is going to be flying!"

OOC: Very sorry for the inactivity everyone, I'll try to post more. :gonk: And apologies in advance for lame post, I've been investing my brain elsewhere... xP I am assuming nothing has really happened involving me lately?

Crimson Wolf
Sluggish awakening

Having slept through undisturbed, as he had just started to become somewhat more conscious, he noticed he was snoring, though pretty quietly. He was laying on his side, facing away from the other beds in the dorm, he slowly and silently turned around to look and see if anyone else was still in bed.

'Can't break a habit of snoring, its annoying...I wonder if anyone heard it...' he thought to himself as he arose from bed, feeling mildly embarrassed should anyone have heard him, which if not he figured it would just be a matter of one of these nights somebody notices it and says something to him about it...

Heading over to the window, he looked out it, observing going ons outside the building, almost as if he were anticipating something to happen at any given moment.

Xe expected to arrive unseen, but that went over horribly wrong. He got up from his upside-down position.

What the hell do you think you're doing!?

Taking out his dagger, he started to concentrate on the teacher, entering his thoughts. Trying to anticipate his moves.

I have no clue what the hell I'm doing here, I have no clue how I got here, and now you're giving me a piece of shit welcome?

He couldn't enter the teacher's mind, yet at least. There was something about the teacher, Xe could see through his torso, slightly.

You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but if you insist, I'll fight you, because that's what you're implying. Am I wrong? The choice is yours.

Mishra:

"Do you see students? Most of your mishaps will involve changes like this. Or at least thats what happened last year. Eye and hair color change. Left untreated it typically lasts around two months, sometimes more, sometimes less. However these come from your mistakes and as such the consequences will be yours alone to deal with."

Mishra watched at the now pink-haired student pulled out his dagger, causing Mishra to snicker. "A fight? I suppose you could construe it as a fight." He brought a finger up to his lip as though thinking, but it was more like he was mocking the student. He spread his arms out and with a wicked gleam in his eye he said, "Well, go on. Don't make threats if you can't back them up."

So, if you wish to fight, so be it!

Even though he was still to weak to fight, Xe still went and fought anyway. He pulled both his sword and his dagger.
Flames of hell, come forth onto my blades!
And just like that, his sword and dagger burst into flames.

Time to have some fun.
Xe noticed that this was an aclamy class, and he could make good use of some of the objects in here.

He noticed some balls on the teacher's desk, so he ran over and picked them up.
I haven't seen these in a long time. Time to put them to good use.

Xe threw down the ball, and smoke bursted out, smothering the whole room.

He ran up to the teacher, and stabbed his dagger into him, but it passed right through.

Just as I suspected, you aren't a solid. There's only one way to defeat you!

Xe went and grabbed the light blue ball out of his pocket, and threw it at the teacher.

Ice, the one thing that can change gas to solid.

Mishra:

Mishra countered by dissappearing completely and drifting down into the floor letting the spell bomb hit the floor harmlessly. He came back up behind the student slammed the second ball into his chest. This time a cloud of grey smoke appeared and filled the room. Mishra hovered close to Xe's ear and began whispering to him.

"You know, I do like you. You have potential. You can actually use the knowledge I know. So how about this. I tutor you in the stuff they wont let me teach in the classroom. Sounds good, eh? All you have to do is get to an open seat before the smoke clears and act like this was all planned." Mishra chuckled slightly as his tail twitched against Xe's arm. "If you do accept, stay after class. And your hair has been fixed by the way."

With that he took a seat on his desk to await his response.

Eluniel had been sitting on the bench silently, when the sounds of the birds chirping changed somewhat slightly. It seemed more hesitant, possibly having detected an alien presence. Looking up from the pond, Eluniel noticed it was Taron who had arrived. Thinking back to the events the day before, she couldn’t help feeling a little hesitant to approach him.

His face seemed rather pained though, almost as if he was going through something bad. However, when he saw her, his expression became more peaceful, though, Eluniel could see, there was still a slight grimace as he spoke,” Mind if I sit with you?”

Eluniel pulled back her hood, brushing her cyan hair as she nodded,” Please do, I do not mind, Taron.”

Moving to the side of the bench to make more space, she continued to stare back at the pond. Nevertheless, being conscious about the presence of someone beside herself pretty much foiled the attempt to appreciate the peace. It didn’t help that she had clearly seen his pained expression and attempt to hide it before her.

“Um,” She began, hesitant and awkward. “T-Taron? Are you okay?”

Her bright blue eyes looked him top to bottom. His current self felt almost reminiscent of her childhood. Whenever she was hurt emotionally or physically, she’ll escape to a quiet place close to nature to appreciate the sounds of nature. The only difference between them now perhaps, would be the fact that Taron had at least someone to share his pain with. Eluniel remembered with profound disappointment that she never had a confidante.

“Um… J-just.”

Stammering, she took a deep breath before continuing,” Just speak your mind. I… I can keep secrets well.”

OOC: Got permission to end class.

The teacher came up to Xe and whispered something into his ear. Xe felt some sort of object rub up against him, which made him feel on edge. Was it, a tail?

After hearing what the teacher had to say, Xe thought about his offer.

It seems like an opportunity to learn some new things, or, will he be using me for a greater goal? I think I'll stay after class, and see what he has to say.

Xe found an empty desk, and sat. He awaited the end of class, so that he could hear what the teacher had to say.

*AFTER CLASS*

After getting up from his seat, Xe walked up to the teacher's desk, wondering what he had to offer for him.

Now, how is this going to be done? I need details. Also, what is up with your tail?

Taron:

Taron sat down next to Eluniel and turned toward her with a slight smile. "I think I overworked myself. Last night was the first time I really worked with my magic. You mentioned my eyes yesterday. And you're right. I have innate magic, passed down by my mother. I was in the training center from the time I left you and Maya until late at night. I almost didn't make it back to my dorm; actually completely exhausted myself and collapsed in the room."

He sighed, placing his head in his hands. "And now I have this massive migraine. Like someone is sounding a cacophany of drums in my head and they just won't stop. I couldn't concentrate for a class so I came here hoping to find some peace. Its slightly better now that I've got a distraction from it but it's still pounding in my head. I don't know if its from never using my magic like this before or I just went past my limits..."

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mishra:

"For the next class I want you to give me your theories on smoke grenades and what can be added to the mixture for additional effects." Mishra kept his seat at the edge of the desk and watched his students file out. As expected Xe came up to him after class was over.

Now, how is this going to be done? I need details. Also, what is up with your tail?

"What tail?" Mishra purred, rolling his eyes with a smile as his tail came from behind his coat and wrapped around his katana. "As for how this is going to be done we need to schedule a time to meet in here where it is safe for YOU to use the materials. The academy wont let me teach the more dangerous points of alchemy like the void capsule but you....you my protege," he giggled. "I will teach you everything I can. Who knows, you may even end up like me!" He laughed.

He pulled his sword from its scabbard, leaving his tail wrapped around it. He swept his hand down the blade until he had six globes floating in front of him and crushed them in his hands to create a single globe. He held the globe out to Xe and smiled. "You might need this one day. As for when, thats for you to decide. But I would advise against it for the present. So I'm free tonight if you want to work together."

((OOC: On a side note, in case it could be of use. Eluniel is actually the name of a town. It was the same town that Eluniel destroyed when she was born. Of course, more information in her bio.))

Eluniel silently listened as Taron spoke. Staring at the pond, she remained quiet, even as Taron came to the part where he collapsed.

“…I don't know if it’s from never using my magic like this before or I just went past my limits..."

Those words struck a note with Eluniel. Supposedly, according to what the matron had once mentioned to another adult, she had apparently destroyed her town because of her birth, because of her magic. Then again, it was also because of her magic which she lost control of that she was here at Eureka.

Sympathizing with Taron, Eluniel replied, her eyes still fixated on the pond as if in deep thought,” I… I, too, have innate magic. From what I heard, it destroyed my town, my parents, my family…”

She could barely visualize how this could have happened without herself dying. “Well,” She continued. “You should rest more often, I suppose. Magic is a dangerous tool, it can be a boon to those who use it well, but it can also be a disaster.”

Her expression became grave and sad as she said these words.

“Taron. Promise me something would you? Don’t overwork yourself again. Be patient and learn to control that magic… And not lose control of it like I once did.”

She clenched her fists, pressing down against her thighs forcefully. Just as she did that, she remembered something. “You know, when I was born, supposedly, the magic in me erupted, and thoroughly destroyed my birthplace,” She began, smiling ironically, her eyes still staring deep into those waters. “I don’t deserve my name… But, Taron.”

Looking into his crimson eyes, she finally introduced herself,” My name is Eluniel.”

OOC: I assume class has just started? And Oliver, i had Maya request that an announcement be posted for Veerle to meet Maya at the cafeteria. can you make it?

Escaflowne
The charge worked somewhat as they have cleared the door, at the sacrifice of four guys. That was enough of a toll fee, so Escaflowne back stepped and engaged the guy to the furthest right. Rather than stay in the middle, go to the side so that all attacks come from one direction, rather than all. She surprised the first, slicing him across the chest. It was a deep gash, but not lethal. She did not particularly like killing. At least this gave him a chance. The ship will sink, but she has given him his lifeline. It made her feel better.

However, she could not be that generous to everyone. The more blood thirsty came with determination and will. The first four were nothing more than that with no skill to back it up and were dispatched with ease. As the last body fell, from behind the body, a straight rapier thrust came through the gap between the body's arm and body. It was a magnificent thrust, aiming straight for her heart and using the body to block her view. Escaflowne lashed out with a kick, knocking the body into the attacker, who easily pushed it sideways. Both swordsperson faced and squared each other off.

You are quite skilled. I'll admit it. I am Escaflowne Zraith. Eureka Academy Student Council Vice President. May i know your name?

Escafllowne raised her blade next to her face, levelling the point at the man's cehst level. Instead of giving his name, he laughed maniacally, which betrayed his calm and collected thrust earlier on.

Uwahahahahahaa! Brilliant! Eureka Academy Vice Presi! If i kill ya, then im gonna be the bomb! Name? Don't be stupid. There is no point giving it to a corpse.

The boy was beginning to annoy her. He was no fighter. He lacked any grace, respect and honour a fighter had. No. Escaflowne saw this boy as nothing more than a skilled thug. She hated them the most. No need for mercy.

Uwahahaha! Die!

Again, the thrust was fast and deep. Without the body in the way, she saw the blade much clearer. It had an odd design, being striped between steel gray and polished white steel. Frowning, Escaflowne could not make sense of it. It was not aesthetically pleasing, but she could not work out its purpose.

Whatever. Ill finish this....

She raised Touhou to land a downward parry strike to knock the sword downward, and just as she swung, She saw the blade tip had gone past the her swing zone and headed straight towards her heart. Alarmed, she leapt back at the last second, the blade sliding through her clothes and punching just through the skin before sliding out as she moved back.

What the...?

She has almost lost her life just then. Was she complacent with this opponent?

No. i took him seriously like i did with any opponent.

Was she distracted?

Yes. I was wondering about the blade.
Believing this was the problem, Escaflowne pushed it out of her mind.

Time to go on the offense

Righting Touhou, she launched an overhead slash straight across the boy's chest. He parried flimsily which disappointed her greatly before she stabbed upward from the slash. He similarly dodged backwards, but the stab gashed across his chest, drawing blood. It wasnt deep, but it was an eye for an eye for Escaflowne. She would destroy him completely.

Delijah

She had been training for over an hour at least. The basic hand to hand was over and it was time to move onto her weapons skills. Still concerned with her lack of strength, Delijah moved over to a large pole and fitted the top with weights before holding it as if a pole arm. Her luings expanded as she calmed her mind before she launched into a set of maneuvers with the weighted.

Thrust, thrust, stab, swing, slam....

The slam was subconscious as it was part of a set of moves and a loud resounding clang echoed in the dojo. There was no damage luckily. Sighing a sigh of relief, Delijah continued her training. She had a mission today, but it was going to be a while until her teammates would assemble.

In fact.... i might request an announcement....

Glancing at the weight pole, Delijah decided to train for a bit more before heading off to shower off and get ready for the mission.

Maya.
Maya had chomped down her meal quickly and bounded from the cafeteria. She was feeling a bit worried about the two children in the forest. It was posted up yesterday and they had already spent a night out in the forest. She wanted to find them as soon as possible. A few minutes earlier, she had checked ack the board and that there was only one person with her. A Ms Veerle. Maya was confused as to why there was such a small team of people, but she had learned that Ms Veerle was a Disciplinary Committee member. Maybe she was more responsible and capable? Maya had no idea, but she had best meet her first. She reached the office and requested that they call for her to meet at the cafeteria

OOC: Going to go ahead and post to move things along.

Taron:

"Eluniel..." Taron said quietly. "I've already lost control. It's why im here..." He sighed before continuing. "And I have to keep working at it, no matter what. Its the only thing i have left to me. It's my legacy. I could never go back. I don't know what they call me... murderer... arsonist... killer... But I can't go back, not with that hanging over me. I'm lucky to even be here. If it weren't for the grace of a stranger I would be dead."

As their eyes met, he felt a sense of similarity between them. "Eluniel... I don't know what I could do for you but..maybe we can help each other. If your magic is as unrefined as mine then... we need each other. If only to stop others from getting hurt. So there won't be anymore innocents killed..."

Eluniel easily empathised with Taron. Name-calling was a mere part and parcel of her everyday life, so much so that she had grown used to it. Like him, her only legacy was really, her much dreaded magical powers. She can never go back, and was also at Eureka with the help of a stranger she barely knew. They suddenly felt so similar and that made Eluniel feel innately surprised.

Never once in her life had she felt that there would be someone suffering a similar fate as herself, and here she was.

"Eluniel... I don't know what I could do for you but..maybe we can help each other. If your magic is as unrefined as mine then... we need each other. If only to stop others from getting hurt. So they’re won't be anymore innocents killed..."
“Is it possible?”

Questioning herself with touch apprehension, Eluniel stared back at the pond peacefully. Her serene appearance at the point far contradicts her innate thoughts, which were replaying what could possibly have happened during the time of her birth.

“Mine is a magic so vast that it destroyed an entire city. Can I really control it?”

Eliane quickly sheathed her hookswords upon confronting a Diaga monk. This monk was just as capable as she was, and he clearly showed it by launching a roundhouse kick that knocked Eliane back. She quickly got to her feet and got into fighting stance. "He's good..." She thought.

The Monk started off by getting into stance and using various strikes from his Eagle Claw stances, which Eliane held off with her own fighting style, every punch, every kick, every block, it was almost as if they both knew each other's moves. "I'm gonna need to end this fight quickly and get off this boat before it goes off."

Eliane kicked the Monk in the shin, forcing him back a bit, and giving Eliane an opening, but the Monk showed his skill by quickly closing it, and attacked the StuCo member with a punch to the chest, leaving a bruise, and knocking Eliane breathless for a bit.

Eliane looked to see her fellow StuCo member having a similar problem.

"Zee, you wanna switch places?" She asked. Maybe they could
