I think he means more like when I was having a fight at FF when he nearly killed Sophia, and did some serious god-modding far beyond my anticipation, including drugging her, I'm never going to forget all that stuff that he did, he still owes me. :mokken:
 
Personally, I think the openings to Mana Khemia 1 and 2 suit the RP very well. :hmmm:



The characters in it somewhat remind me of the DisCom. :hmmm:
 
Mana Khemia does seem to suit it better, since it pictures schools, where we are.

I think it would be easier if we used Mana Khemia 2, as the people don't really move around (cept the dragon, but we can use that as a potential boss in the future). We can add in extra people for representing our characters (besides cutting and replacing the ones already there).

I agree with Ringo. Mana Khemia 2 seems best.
 
More people to represent our characters? I don't want other people controlling my characters all of a sudden. -__-

There has to be an alternative to that. :/

In most cases, people would just cut out the people there, and then replace them from a character here. HOWEVER, Since we have more characters on here then the amount shown in that video, we would have to actually add in the characters in certain spots instead of just cut/paste.
 
True. However, it's really hard to animate characters that aren't already from animations. In our case, they aren't.

This is just the SIMPLEST idea we have. We can still use other ideas.

If you really want to make a unique opening, we need to start searching for a song that suits us, and then animate the characters.

Though, if we are going to do that instead, I want the part of Orion blowing up the ship, as that was one of the epic parts of the RP. That, and the big fight scene between StuCo and the Diaga students on board.

There are other parts (Ringo's fighting the weird-ass clone thing that he refuses to explain about, for example) that we should put in, but I want the explosion of the ship in. It was one of the crowning moments of Orion.
 
The RPing experience isn't going to be forcing the same thing on everyone all the time, is it? There will be plenty of time in which it is days as normal, won't there?

I hope so, I liked this RP so much as is, I can't imagine a drastic change to an RP I enjoy so much making it a much more enjoyable experience, probably just subtract from it if these characters need to be here at this time, those there at that time, you know, everyone else telling us what to do. >_<
 
Yeah Shadow. But since the first semester of the academy would be "season one" more or less we would do way more scenes. Even ones that havent even started. I want to be able to approve the song and I think everyone in the Academy should get a say.

Also some students will have to stand in groups. Stuco, Discom, RedSects, Blue Sects, ETC. The action scenes would be of The boat exploding, the upcoming events...and Some things in the beginning like Sophia strapped to that table with Ms Nova :tehe: (I kinda found that part amusing a little).

But anyway every student in Eureka is so unique. The students can stand together with each other like CathalX Alan and what not. I like those videos though....There will have to be alot of Photoshop and drawing/Animating to pull off something unique ^_^

Edit: And Crimson....I think you're missing the point....there wont be any "new people"....at least none that I know of....And the school will stay the same and everything will function the same....Am I missing something? O.O
 
Hmm, that does bring up a good point. If I knew how to make flash videos, I'd have no problem animating, but I have no experience nor the software to undertake such a feat.

Evil person... :vikki: And it wasn't with Ms. Nova, it was some evil guy in some tailored suit...whom I want to rip the head off of for being any part of that scene.

And well, I just was starting to fear this was going to end up just turning into another scripted RP where we will end up pretty much having the basic direction our characters would take forced on us... >.>
 
Nope. This RP is designed to not really have a plot.

The plot is there. However, it will (generally) take backstage for the interactions between you and your own side-stories. The plot is just around to give you something to do in-between interactions or when your formulating something new.
 
Okay, that is all fine and well then, it just brings something in particular that is interesting to the RP as well. :monster:

And animating our characters in a video...does that mean I could see my character(s) in motion!? :jess: I know, dream on right? But it would be awesome. :ryan:
 
I think it is totally worth the time to get a talented artist on board with this, this would put our RP on a whole other level from the others, it would absolutely be completely epic and kick ass. :D

Well, that part you mentioned, I admit could be pretty dramatic/amusing/whatever word you want to use, with Sophia and that whole scene...it led to some of my best RPing, too. :hmmm:

I do emotion rather well in RP, something that I would imagine to do be difficult to capture, but I seem to have somewhat of a knack for it. :O

XD If only Mandi were here...:sad3: She could darw....But yeah getting an artist on board would be totally kick ass!

I also think the scene of Sophia would be just a small flash of a scene and moved on. The characters would probably not move as it take too much effort...I don't want to put too much on an artist :sad3: But then again time to search for some :P I'm glad this was thought of. We'd need the drawings then get backgrounds, then flash made. Get some slides in there, pick a song last. Yup Anther level indeed...
 
Aw, I was really hyped about motion. xD But yeah, that is a ton to ask...we just need to see how the search goes, let's leave it up in the air for now, what say you to this?
 
I say okay! I can wait for the search! Motion is too much. I wouldn't do that for free if it was me :P tbh. All those characters to draw? psssh! We'd be lucky just to get stills! xD Or we could render the images we put up for our character appearances...
 
Yeah, guess you're right, there... But I did think of the free thing, if one was in a good position to, one could pay someone for their work on effectively bringing those characters to life in a video like that, but I guess it just isn't realistic, best not be too greedy...

I should never have began to get my hopes so high, this is just another RP after, it's not like it is some movie production. :wacky: So, apologies about that, just got carried away...but this could still be pretty cool, right? ^^;
 
I do enjoy the mixture of freedom and plot (missions) in this RP. It does seem like there'll be some action soon, which is great. I'm looking forward to the Disciplinary Committee's place in the rival Academy plotline which, hopefully, will go a little farther. Athena could use a little more action :lew:
