Doctor Who

I reckon it's just something that they use to make The Doctor seem more imposing and intimidating when he's on his Time Lord rants.

The disappearing bees has been mentioned a couple of times so far this series.

I can't wait until Donna is killed.

i haven't watched this since they changed the doctor from Christopher Ecclestone to that new guy, not sure of his name

I've only seen a few of the old Doctors but I think Davids the best too.

He just seems to rip off that weird blend of wise ancient creature thats not Human and the totally ridiculous near insane guy who you just can't help but laugh at.

And all the rest of the Doctors emotions to boot. XD

I do like David Tennant, but I did like Christopher Ecclestone even more in the role. They've both been great since the show got resurrected so it's all good anyway.

David Tennant is the best person to play the Doctor, I do agree. He's got so mucn energy and character to put into him. I think that's why he's become so popular since taking on the role.

Keep counting down lol. I actually sort of like Donna at the moment because she's finally not one of those love interest assistants. The way she shouted at the makers of the Ood place for treating them like slaves had me in a fit of giggles! :P And then the Doctor's like, "Yeah, well done with that."

I'm really keen to know what's happening next week with Martha. She sounded like some military general by the sounds of it.

Sontarans eh? Should be good.

Looks like
Rose, Captain Jack AND Sara Jane Smith
are going to be making reappearances at end of the series aswell as
Harriet Jones
.

I'm quite excited that the main antagonist of the series is very likely to be
Davros!
. And the
Doctors daughter (played by Peter Davisons real life daughter)
makes an appearence for two episodes!

All in all I think this series is shaping up to be quite epic. Which is good as apparently we won't get another full length series untill 2010

Finally, a good episode. Even Catherine Tate was pretty good in it. Tennant's performance was one of his best though, and looking ahead to next weeks it's looking amazing.
Can't quite remember the actor's name of the Sontaran general though. ><

Good episode indeed especially for leaving me wanting the next one so badly.

I must admit I rather like these Sontarans they are warriors and soldiers. They have some degree of honor unlike most Doctor Who enemies.

Was the Sontaran general played by Christopher Ryan, who used to be in The Young Ones?

I really liked the Sontarans, there was a nicely gruff, old-fashioned feel to them. Almost like a bunch of Colonel Blimps.

There we go, an episode that Juliet finally likes with Catherine Tate in. I just knew he'd succumb at some point ...

And yes, I did like it. Now we know what that Martha part in the trailer was all about. An evil Martha ... how scary and gripping! I like that idea. :P

OMG...a thread about doctor who...why have i not seen this yet:P

I dont really like Donna as the new assistant. Dunno why. Although i wish Captain Jack would make a re-appearance soon. He's so cool. So's David Tennant

Whenever i say that Cpt Jack a.k.a John Barrowman is cool i always get slagged off because he's gay. That annoys me. I just say "so what"

Jack is actually due to make a reappearance in the last episode or the last two. I'm sure he's back, though.

Great episode everyone survived etc etc

The Doctor has a daughter!!!!!!!

The next episode can't come soon enough.

That was the best episode in the series by a mile!

And I know! I can't believe how very flexible she is. Loved Donna continuing to slap the Doctor, the tension between them is very intense. And I thought that Martha would go back home ... well, I was wrong.

Nice episode overall, the Sontarans are great villains. I would say about the next episode preview:
The Doctor's daughter seems dreadful, she looks like she just dropped out of the cast of Hollyoaks or something XD

I'm really looking forward to next weeks...at least now we know what the Face of Boe meant when he said- "You are not alone" and died.

I thought that was a reference to The Master, being another Time Lord.

Did anyone else spot
a very brief appearance of Rose on the screen in the TARDIS when Donna was in there

WHAT?! Now I must go to the BBC iPlayer and find it! No wonder she was in the credits!
