go looking for your Christmas presents? xD

I take a good look around the house every year. It's like, a tradition. Normally my mum wins though, since I've only been able to find them twice xD The year I got my PS2, and this year xD

And, if you do go looking, and you've found them, what's the strangest place your parents have hidden them? xD

Oh Stevie There are alot of places but once I found one under the balcony and the others in the closet. My mom puts locks everywhere so I do not know what it is but yeah the strangest was under the balcony.

Lol. I used to do that as a child but not anymore, since my mom and I go shopping together for my Christmas presents. I know this year I'm getting a DS and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I guess you could say that it's no fun to go shopping for your own gifts but I like it that way actually since that way I'm not stuck with presents I don't want.

I do go looking for my christmas present alot but not this time. Last christmas I snooped and found a DS. I stoped snooping because that ruins the suprise for me. This year I hope we get a wii. I really want one so bad and so does my brother.

Yeah I used to do that a long long long time ago and I must say that it was quite fun actually. My brother and I would go search around our stepmom's room and typically she hides it in the closet, top shelves. It's so obvious too. One night we actually went as far as opening some of our Christmas presents that were under the Christmas tree. We had to take the tape out very carefully, peeked inside, and then taped it back up. xD Oh the lovely days.

...Now I've got a little one to worry about now when it comes to Christmas presents. I'll make sure to hide where she couldn't find them, no matter how hard she looks. ^^

When I go searching for them I always find them. My grandpa always hides them in his closet which is really a bad hiding place.

My sister always did but I don't. They say I'm hard to buy for but I guess I just don't really ever care what I get. It's usually fairly decent. If it's not, who cares. I'm more about giving at Christmas. Seriously...

I don't. I always know where they are. I prefer a kind of clue, hide and seek type game with them on a Christmas morning. I always leave on for opening after midnight mass!

But yeah, I know what I've got and where it is but I dare not open it.

I used to look for mine, and they'd usually be hidden in my dad's wardrobe or the cupboard under the stairs. I don't anymore though, mainly because I don't get as excited about presents as I used to. And I generally know what I'm getting this year anyway, because I've specified what I want and my parents don't get me as many 'surprises' because it's too risky. :wacky: Same with last year, and the year before. When I was younger I'd write a list of lots of ridiculous things which I'd never get but the rest was pretty much up to my parents, and they knew what I'd like anyway. My dad say'd he just go to the pink aisle in Toys R Us and put anything doll-related into the trolley and that was me done. xD

I probably did a long time ago, however, I don't now. I'm grown up to the point where I know what I'm getting anyway, so there would be no point in looking, like this morning when I was sat at the computer with the father ordering all my Christmas presents. Tbh, Xmas is getting more and more boring. It only becomes good again when you turn 18 and Xmas is about parties and drinking. :monster:

I use to snoop around for gifts when I was very little but I outgrown that phase and age to be doing that. As you get older, Christmas isn't as exciting like it was when I was younger. It's fun to get stuff you ask for but that's about it.

I use to when I was a child. My parents didn't do a very good job hiding my gifts. They were usually hidden in a closet.

I tell my parents what I want exactly, so I pretty much know what I'm getting. Either that I ask for money and pick out my own presents.

I use to when I was little, but not so much anymore. Opening presents on Christmas morning isn't as much fun if you know what to expect :/

When I did look for them, the one place they almost always were was in the trunk of my mom's car. If not there, than in her closet xD One time I found some behind the couch in our living room though. That was by far the worst place my parents could've put them because I sniffed them out in no time at all.

I did when I was younger, although I never found anything apart fro one year when I doscovered some stuff in a tabley thing next to her bed

Ive NEVER found any of my 'main' presents though, Im 100% convinced that she stashed them at a friend, Im glad I never found anything important though, becuase I think it would have ruined it xD

Yep to this day i raid the house for selection boxes and sweets, they are the best thing about christmas. I wouldnt hunt for gifts anymore im too old for that, but back in the day i did it all the time. Like u said its tradition.

I once found a Bikermice from Mars toy in the spare bedroom wardrobe, and even then I realised how ridiculously defiant of the point of Christmas it was, so I both said nothing nor pursued looking for further presents to date.

Definitely not.

Well I haven't yet, maybe this year.

Usually I know what I am going to buy in advance and just walk in and buy the item and leave. So manly.

I think the only things I've found were Star Wars toys, I found Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett. Because found them, my parents let me play with them instead of waiting for Christmas that was sweeeeeet.

But since then I haven't really looked, I prefer waiting for Christmas. Considering my parents buy me presents and go to the trouble of hiding them, I feel kinda bad if I find them. Plus part of the fun with Christmas is the surprise.

I really don't need to look around the house, when all I really have to do is look at my mom's Ebay account.:neomon:

Not that I ever have, I just know that if I went on there I would find everything, as she buys everything on there. In fact, I don't think any of the things I want for Christmas can be sold in stores at the moment, as the games I asked for are somewhat old.

Well I actually do not do this anymore because I want it to be a surprise not a ruined surprise lol. Yeah I mostly did this when I was just a kid because I was too crazy about presents lol.
