I am a cyber-martyr, i.e. one who is bashed or punished online because of one's beliefs or cause. The idea of women's rights is getting out of hand and is outdated. You are living in the 1970s, not the 2000s. Most of my beliefs are actually found to be true. Women are worse today than they were in the 1800s and 1900s. I had enough of being bashed.

And she's not going to turn us into a "nanny" state, I don't even know where you got that ludicrous idea.

A nanny state is a government that assumes the responsibilities specifically attributed to parenthood. A nanny state uses excessive government action to protect people from the consequences of their actions by restricting citizen options.

I do not need a woman to rule over me. You do not need to expect me to get a significant other.

I am not trying to offend anyone. I have clouded views towards females, and it is making it difficult to get along with others online. I did not want to start discussion of feminism. I know that I have a sensitive opinion. There is a wide gap between my opinion and public opinion. I was not responsible for this discussion on feminism or my views on the female sex at this thread; VengefulRonin was. VengefulRonin was behind all this bashing against me. I did not say that I am against women's rights. If you are all for women's rights, then you must not expect me to get a significant other or to like females more than video games. Romantic love does not interest me. It is more of an endurance than an enjoyment. I did not state my views on female fashion on this thread, and I do not want that mentioned here. You must cease discussion of feminism on this thread. Let's get back on topic.

I'm single but I don't mind right now. I just got out of a love-hate kind of relationship and I'm glad that's over. Now I'm just enjoying the single life. I do hope to find a significant other again one day, but not right now.

Anywho, I'm single by choice. I've only had one really serious thing, but that was back in high school. It kinda messed me up a bit, so I've stayed single ever since. Call it "past demons" I suppose. Not that I would mind a relationship if I felt good about it (and that I thought I could manage), but at this stage in my life I'm quite content with being single. I have college, friends and family to fulfill me.

been with my longest GF for just over 2 years, and i think i have killed it recently with giving her too much stress. she is doing her final year at university.

I am thinking of ending it because i want to capitalise on a potential art career and given that i gave up on my degree because i learnt nothing about the industry, i'm just sitting around doing nothing. but my idea of love is purely based on the association in common career interests and goals.

I'm the same like that. There are only a few who live near me who I actually get on well enough with yet they usually don't feel the same back or are already attached for the time being. Otherwise most others I get along with or had done have now moved away for University or career opportunities whilst I'm stuck here.
