Do most of you who play FF games do you play/like KH series as well?

I wanted to know how many of you guys/girls who play the Final Fantasy series do you also play Kingdom Hearts or no?
 
I never had much of an interest in Kingdom Hearts. I once saw my roommate play II, and it din't impress me much. With that said, I may give the series a shot someday down the line when its cheaper(9.99 or less range used) and I don't have any other games that I wanna get.

Dragon Quest is the only other Square Enix series I really like.
 
I play the KH series but I'm not a huge fan. I mean I enjoy them and love them while I'm playing them, but I wouldn't call myself a huge follower. I don't feel the same way to KH as I do to FF.

But yeah it was mainly the FF part that got me into KH1. I really enjoyed it.... When KH2 came out I really enjoyed that too. However I don't play all the other weird stuff they release on different consoles because I don't want to drown myself in KH games because I'm not as interested in it as I am Final Fantasy.

I will, however, buy / play all the games in the main series of Kingdom Hearts. If they were to release KH3 I'll definately buy it, and probably enjoy it.

I don't play Kingdom Hearts for one reason. My friend told me every game has Disney characters in it and, while I have nothing against Donald, Mickey and Goofy, I don't want them in any of my games because they babyify everything they're in.
 
I've only played KHI and KHII. I really enjoyed playing them but I can't be bothered playing the other KH games because they are all on different consoles and I really can't be bothered getting more hand held consoles because that is really the last thing I need.
 
I love Kingdom Hearts, I get more enjoyment out of it than most Final Fantasy titles, to be honest I thought 358/2 Days was far more enjoyable than FFXII, yet FFXII is a console game that you could easily put 160 hours into. Personally, I think the fact it's a series makes it more enjoyable that most Final Fantasy titles, whereas in Final Fantasy, once you've played the game it's unlikely you'll get another game related to those characters unless it's FFVII, there's far more interaction between the characters than in Final Fantasy.
 
I love Kingdom Hearts. At first I thought it was a very strange idea to mix Disney with Final Fantasy, but it works! They are both two very big titles. The Disney style of cute and fun mixed with the RPG qualities of a good story, characters and gameplay made the games very popular.

I have only played the first one and I have thought about getting into the series since it seems to have such a huge following.

You have to play the second one! I'd say 2 is better than the first. It feels more Final Fantasy, where as 1 felt more Disney. My bf who's also a big FF fan couldn't really get into the first one and didn't seem to like it much. But he really liked 2 and we finished it together in a few days. It's definitely worth playing!

The FF fans that prefer the more serious storyline and characters probably wouldn't like KH as much.

I like games for fun too, KH gives you that. Plus loving Disney, two of my favourite things together can't be bad. :yay:

I did this a harder way: I started playing the series with the second one. I had borrowed it from a friend and got hooked on it. I was completely lost at first, since I never played the first one, but I started to figure some things out as I went through the game.
 
I first started out playing the FF series, and then KH got reccomended to me, so I played the two of them...And now I love them ^__^ FF will always be my favourite of the two, due to the fact that KH is for a younger audience and therefore can be less appealing to me at times, but the KH series are still really enjoyable games :3
 
I enjoy both the FF series and the KH series, granted i prefer the battling style of the FF games (asides FFXII) and would love to see the KH games with a fighting style similar to the FF games.

as forthe KHgames themselves, there are a few things I would have enjoyed seeing in them, more playable FF characters for one, but other than that i really enjoy the KH games i have played.

(i have played KH,KH2 and KH: chain of memories)
 
I've played I and II, but all the others just seem to ruin it for me. :gonk:
I can't say I'm a huge fan, since I find the story a little cheesy and cliche. But the characters and FF character seem to make up for that. xD
I liked II better than I, SO MUCH interaction during the battles and I love the battle system, also KHII had better graphics. And I just like Roxas in general for some reason. :P
 
I played a Kingdom Hearts game before I touched a Final Fantasy game. I strongly prefer Kingdom Hearts to Final Fantasy. It keeps me more on my toes, and provides more exciting gameplay. Final Fantasy is slow-paced and doesn't keep me engaged. I beat Final Fantasy X while half asleep.
 
I think it's more a case of those who play KH tend to play FF. I played FFX back before I played KH without knowing the two were connected at all, but after playing KH and knowing it was connected to the FFs I gave some of them a go~

People who play FF first might be like, "It looks like they screwed over the characters.."

No doubt, played both series. Kingdom Heart series deserves some attention regardless of Disney characters.
