Fan Fiction Dissidia 012 Discussion

So is everyone ignoring the fact that this is just a Sample Cover with only the Newly released characters, as well as new outfits? Not everybody is on there, it's just a sample to show who's been released and what other tidbits there is to be offered.

Like Tifa's Amano outfit is a DLC for the Japs I think :hmmm: For someone specific only, can't remember who... so seeing Teenage Hooker Tifa is still a possibility because Amano Tifa is DLC, and not unlockable.

We know that. Hopefully they will fix Lightning's hand to match that of a normal hand (unless her hand does have a thumb in the wrong place in the games...?)

I don't think it was just a hurry thing though, that Jecht is on the goodside and Terra isn't. After all, considering the last game, it tells us Jecht use to fight for the good and Terra was on the bad team.

So I think those will stay as they are.

But...why did they make a "hurry" box case anyway? What was the point if it'll change? Seems like a waste of time if you ask me... :/

I think it's just more for eye candy if anything. Just to remind us "heeeey look what we got here, and we're fucking with your minds by excluding 3 characters on the back and including someone else :wacky:" literally a carrot in front of a rabbit.

Also Tidus seems to be missing. :hmmm: He wouldn't be on Chaos side.. unless he does come in at the end like someone mentioned.

Hm....has there been any screenshots of him? If not, this might actually happen. That would just be weird, and I'm not sure if that would be in a good way or a bad way xD

Her face is... different.. :hmmm:

Apparently this has been confirmed so far: Yuna is full summoner, not a mix of anything from X-2.

She summons Ixion and Shiva as bravery attacks, possible together but hard to tell.

She summons Bahamut as an HP attack.

Her EX Burst is her calling upon all summons to attack at once

EDIT: I just realized that shes kicking jechts Butt. YAY!

Also this proves my Yuna battle theory wrong. :( MY theory was that she would use the Summon Entrances Animations as attacks. So She would Sling Ixion (Or a lightball) out of the Lighting portal a a HP attack. And Shivas icicles as another HP attack. While Valefors Orb thingys could be a brave attack. Oh well.

I wonder why Nomura changed her face. She doesn't really look like Yuna anymore. Do you think he was trying to make her appear younger for a better detail or something? :/

I'm really not sure. It's not even a subtle difference either, her face is just... different. It's not Yuna anymore.. not Yuna of X or X-2. :hmmm: It could be that she's younger, but she'd interact with Jecht and Tidus in the game I'm sure.
 
Which further pushes this game into non-canon material. I'm not sure I heard anything about it, but has Nomura talked about if we should take it canon or not?

Because if we can take it as canon, how does he explain how they don't know each other in the games?

Well it does say her ex burst brings all the summons in one attack. It is the sending in a way :hmmm: So the Magus Sisters/Anima can possibly appear. She does look a little younger :hmmm:
 
I'm not sure if it's considered canon. Considering they're all pulled from their universes to the FF1 Universe, I guess you could consider it canon.. because FF1 is canon. At the end of the game, Zidane comments about them all returning to where they belong.. so they're all well aware that they got pulled from their universes.. but with the reoccuring Wars, it sounds like they don't remember or.. I don't know. :hmmm: That's a thinker

If this is considered canon by SE's word, then KH games, the handheld FF titles, Secret of Mana and whatnot, is canon as well. I mean, if this is the case and they simply forget each other, then they better make everything canon.
