And no, Ice Age isn't Disney. It's created by Blue Sky Studios. Still a good movie though.

Disney is feckin' epic. There's no way of describing the years of enjoyment Disney brings to you as a child and, even when you're an adult, you can't not like it because it becomes so nostalgic. And then there's Disneyland ...

If magic actually exists, then it originates from there.

Now that you mention live Disney films, Gray Fox...I must say that Pirates of the Caribbean were really excellently done for a Disney movie! I was actually a surprised and the whole time I was thinking, "This really is a Disney film...?" I mean, out of all the live Disney films they've made, I think this was the best one out of them all.

The Chronicles of Narnia was also well done. Again, a little surprised it was a Disney movie too.
 
Here's My 5 list:

01. The Lion King (the first = the one)
02. Finding Nemo (too funny! Love that Dora fish, worst than me in remembering things)
03. The Little Mermaid (unforgettable childhood moments)
04. Beauty And The Beast (the betta I remember, beast's crazy and odd reactions were scary)
05. Cars (Disney Pixar, however disney)
 
My favorite Disney movie is 101 Dalmatians because my favorite animal are dogs and they are just cute. :) The movie is also pretty funny and I like watching those puppies. The funny part was when that women tired to chase those dogs and she came out as a big cake.

I also like The Lion King. I never get bored watching it.
 
Hmmmm let me see when I was younger the loin king but now I like the pirates of the carribean series I heard there making a 4th one. Pirates of the carribean was awesome. My favorite was the 3rd one because that freakin davy jones finnaly dies and jack sparrow gets immortal.
 
Oh I like Pirates Of The Caribbean too but I like the first one the best. I want to see the 4th one so badly. I did not know they were making another one. My favorite character is Elizabeth Swann. She is pretty and I like how she acts really tough. Her and Will Turner are really cute together too.
 
Sleeping Beauty is my favourite Disney movie ^^ It's horribly underrated. I used to adore it as a child, and I'd still watch it happily now.

No one seems to understand why I want the DVD for Christmas D= It's because it's awesome.
 
Yeah Stevie sleeping beauty is amazing but if you watch it more than 5 times you will probably get bored. Yasmine I like Jack sparow he is just so funny and cool lol.
 
I have see Mulan 2 not really excited about it. Mulan 1 was great I guess. What I like about Mulan is when they start to fight and that was pretty cool. Also when they started to fight in the snow.
 
As a child I absolutely loved Disney. Now that I'm older I still do but the childhood memories are the best. Disney movies are awesome because like people have said, they have a strong sense of magic.

Favourite Disney Films!

because they are epic and no matter how old you are you love them, so list them and tell me why you love them.

Lion King - This is by far the best film of all time, Simba :jess: Timon and Pumba :wacky: goood how can you not say this film is good. its just soooooooo amazing.

Aladdin - "can we call you Al or how about Din or how about Laddy!" another brilliant film, Robin Williams is epic as the Genie. cant get enough of his impersonations.

Oliver and Company - "Why should i worry? why should i care (8)" watched this back when i was nine and youtube has the full film up along with most disney films aswell. so just this minute finished watching it.

The Rescuers Down Under - Read the short story but never seen the film until yesterday (watching it now as i write this) another great movie disney always seem to nail the voice casting for their movies.

A Goofy Movie - Because Goofy is epic gawrshhhh :mokken:

Also if this is done put a V2 at the top as i havent seen one yet :wacky: and would like to renew this if possible.

I love DISNEY!!!

Anyway my favourite Disney films are:

The Little Mermaid: I absolutely adore the story. It's such a classic Disney movie. The soundtrack is among my favourites and I own the CD as well as the two other Little Mermaid movies. XD They're no where near as good as the original though. I love how it can be so dark and funny. Not tacky at all. It sends a chill down your spine when Ariel starts singing. I always remember how Ursuala called Ariel a tramp. =0 I was like, woah, today they would be shot for having such a word in a kids movie.

Beauty and The Beast: OMG this movie was just awesome! I have the two spin offs for this movie as well. XD Still waiting on getting the soundtrack though. I love how dark this one is as well. I always got scared at the start of the movie as a child when the narrator is talking about the Prince and the movie is taking you through the woods up to the Beast's castle. The story is so beautiful and I literally get goosebumps and a shiver up my spine when I see the Beast transform back into a human. <3

The Hunchback of Notre Dame: Have the movie and the sequel and the soundtrack for this one too. XD I adore the soundtrack! The lyrics are so powerful. The story is yet another dark one, especially with Frollo the psycho. I adore Esmeralda and Phoebus is just awesome!!! I love how he always has to justify his name by saying, "It means, Sun God." XD

These are the main three that stick out for me at the moment. <3
 
I can't believe I haven't posted here yet 8(

Anyways...I'm not a HUGE Disney fan per say. Not anymore really. When I was a kid my favorite Disney movie was The Little Mermaid...and it still is. I really love Ariel and I think I identify with her as a character the most out of all the Disney princesses. She's quirky, a bit off-beat, fun, yet a bit quiet. I love her.

Really though, what I DO like about Disney is the fact that they work so closely with Pixar now, and the Disney/Pixar movies are nothing short of amazing to me. They are so engaging and make the movies that a kid would love to watch...and their parents won't mind going to see with them. My favorite Disney movie now is WALL-E. No other kid movie hit me quite like WALL-E did. I think I got watery eyes at the beginning part when he was all alone and they showed him with his cute little cockroach pal :lew:. What a precious movie that was. I'm also a really big fan of UP. The visuals in these movies are always very nice and make them very fun to watch...and the themes are always a mix of adventure with a little bit of them engaging you to think about the big picture of the movie.
