Multiple Platforms Dead Island

I've been thinking of getting this game but I'm not sure if anyone on here will play with me. I seriously cant play zombie games alone that arent RE. I like the gameplay though and I think I might get this in a few days. I just need someone to play it with xD
 
Well since you have PS3, count me in :monster: i'm more than happy to play with pals, i'm starting a new file soon anyway so we'd be on equal footing :lew:

Edit: if you have a mic too, extra fun :wacky:
 
I havent been having that much trouble in Act 2. I think the purpose of act 2 though is to show you the game is meant to be about survival; there is no scoreboard for lost battles.

although, the quest w/ turning off fire hydrants was really annoying for me. Infected Zombies that were on fire kept spawning and beating the piss out of me while i was dodging a Ram.

all i have to say is thank fuck for incendiaries and boomerang talent

if you are having money troubles you should probably go back to the beach for an hour and stock up on alcohol etc., plenty of money to loot and molotovs to be made. :monster:

Also i find that turning on my persona 4 soundtrack helps me slay zombies

sometimes it's just too quiet in Dead Island lol

If you have a ps3 a lot of us have Dead Island and I'm sure we'd be happy to have a game with you...or at least I would Josh :lew:


...and I had my first co op last night with Al, Jeff, and his friend....and it was amazing :rage: I've been craving another game of it today all day while I was at work :gonk: I'm still too nervous to play it by myself...but I can't tell you how fun it is with friends. You really need a mic though because it can get confusing at times with who is leading and what needs to be done though. I love this game :ryan:

Really Mel? :jess: Cause I seriously cant play by myself xD And of course I have a ps3(The better to get my hands on Versus! >:D) But I dont have a mic...My play style is usually to follow others as backup anyway. ^^
 
I've just recently beat this game, and boy the world was a lot bigger than expected. I died so many times, but it was well worth it. One of the things I hated about it was when you had to follow certain characters, who were ridicously slow and stupid
