[CX] The Facility

I don't think the lab is DLC.

I think the lab is just an experiment they run every weekend and it is essentially a new game type each weekend which you can only play on that weekend. I think they just want to see which gametypes work.

So shotguns etc this weekend and it is sniper elimination next weekend.
 
Ah om so like halo 3 every weekend there is something different. pretty awesome! I will try it out later then

I'm not really sure as Kylie's post was the first I'd heard of it. I just did a quick google search and what I found out is what I typed in here.


I just gave it a go just then. It's pretty cool but I didn't manage to get into a decent game. In the first game a load of people glitched as there is apparently a new glitch that people have found on the snowy ruins level (forgotten the name of the level) where they get into the floor and can either shoot from below or simply pull people down TO HELL. :O

So yeah I couldn't have a decent game with 3-4 people doing that glitch. In the second game everyone left apart from two enemies and a full team on my side.

So I couldn't get a decent play of it but it seemed decent enough. All shotguns is great to try as I rarely use shotguns myself. It gives me a reason to get used to them.
 
So whats THIS ABE thing anyone but England. and why do most CXers have it?
 
It's fairly obvious it means England suck.
Or that anyone but Engerland to win the world cup. Though Australia winning would be worse.

Fuck that. I just spent so much fucking time on single player, and it's not even going to reward me for that. Platinums aren't supposed to have online trophies included. :jtc:

I'd just assumed that online trophies were included for the platinum anyway so that is more of a confirmation than a disappointment for me. In my experience most of the games I've played have included online trophies. I never platinumed Ghostbusters because you needed about 10 online trophies, and some of them were really difficult to get (so I didn't ever get them, despite playing that game for ages and ages). Red Faction was the same... Online trophies would always stop me from getting a platinum.

Well... That said I only have one platinum, and I could have got a platinum for many games, but it is even more so annoying that games which have online sometimes make you have to get online trophies too. If it was down to singleplayer trophies alone I'd probably have two more platinum trophies at least.
 
I just got my 48 in Lone wolve son Halo 3 About fucking time really xD Im so proud and I think I can get a 50 only 2 levels away but it takes forever! But glad I got 48. It means I got so much better heh. Well now Ill just study a bit >_>

Now you know my thoughts on Grand Theft Auto 4. :lew: I've gotten all the trophies in 1 player, but am missing like 6 or 7 that are all multiplayer and those trophies are needed for Platinum. :hmph:

I'm so pissed. I wouldn't have gone for all of those hard single player ones if I knew I wouldn't be getting the platinum anytime soon.

If I'm not mistaken... UC2's two original online trophies didn't count towards platinum... :hmmm:

I thought they did. I could be wrong as I got them both without issue, and before I got all of the singleplayer trophies. They did count towards the percentage though, and therefore I think they probably did count towards the platinum.

It's only the additional trophies that don't count, I think.
 
Everything but DLC is needed to get platinum. If there are DLC trophies sometimes they'll be included in the trophy list, so that it says you're 60% done, whereas it's more like 80.

Lol. For the time being. I've gotta bounce within the next day or so. Exams and such like, but they finish next Friday so I'll be jumping on down to GAME to get my PS3. :neomon:

As for trophies, they shouldn't have online ones counting towards Platinum because not everyone has online and neither are you "doing" anything towards the game. Single player and Multiplayer are completely independent from one another.
