-Chrono Pulse-^-

"so thats all you have to say" Stephen announced "come on, if somebody in our dimension could build a device to send us here, surely you have the same thing here" Stephen announced, gritting his teeth slightly "and if you and your family have such a brilliant mind, explain this"

"I'm sorry sir." Lucca stuttered. "This girl you seek.....Liana must have invented something of time....If I can remember vaguely a knowledge passed down from my great, great grandmother, who I was named of...She had the ability to travel time with a ship, crossing the very borders of time. She did it to save her country from it's horrible future...But that has long since passed. Dimension traveling is a whole different thing I'm afraid..."

The wolf man began to speak to the ice man."Relax, intimidation won't get us anywhere. She was kind enough to invite us in, simply ask and I feel she may answer to the best of her ability, and seeing as she is of a family of inventors, she must be quite knowledgeable." he spoke, seeming perfectly comfortable in the company of a complete stranger.

"Thank you sir." Lucca said shifting her glasses. "My family has it in our blood, and experience in some sorts."

"As for myself, I'm just going to take things as they come. I don't really have any questions of my own, doubt is a luxury I can't afford."

"But shouldn't you be concerned as well?" Lucca asked "If this is the same thing as before but in a different way, then it may seem that the future of your country may be at stake also."

"If this is an alternate dimension... would the people be changed besides you? I mean, like, say our parents were killed in our dimension. Would they be alive here, in this dimension?" Cedric paused, then added "I guess we forgot to introduce ourselves. My name's Cedric Wargunsson."

"I would guess so." Lucca said "But the name Wargusson is familar there are people across the street with that name. Are you related?...I don't think the technology is at my standards to be able to bring you back to your own world. It seems like you're stuck here."

Raistlin watched as questions were asked, and others were answered. However, his interest was peaked as Cedric mentioned something about other versions of themselves in this dimension.

"You mean I could talk to someone as awesome as I am because I can talk to myself and not be a lunatic?! I'm off, see you guys later." Running out of the door he walked to where he house would be. And in the front yard, sitting in a... What is a swing doing in that tree? Sitting in the tree was Raistlin... With short hair... And from what Raistlin could tell, no magical ability at all.

No magical ability equaled no Raistlin. And... Short hair? Really? Raistlin turned away in disgust, and walked back to Lucca's house. At least he could be interested in a good conversation.

He walked back in on Lucca saying "It seems like you're stuck here."

Something inside Raistlin... snapped. "Wait... You're saying that I'm stuck here... With..." (He though about other Raistlin and how boring he looked.) "Boring people?! No, I refuse to accept it. If Liana can make something that brings us here, and her invention skills are as adept as a flea is in reading a book, you sure as shit can fix it."

"Cocky isn't he?" Christiane said, her arms crossed and face devoid of emotion, "In any case, since we are in an alternate dimension, I assume there are alternate versions of us. Is that true?"

She walked up to Lucca with a serious look in her face. Although she looked similar to Liana, as much as she would wish to believe it was her, she was not, and that only made her suspicious. Still, it was best listening to her as she may hold the secrets as to what is going on.

OOC: Sorry for short post.

Cedric went wide-eyed at the mention of people who had the same name as him who lived just across the street. "Wait a minute.. Hey Locke, that's your house in our realm, isn't it? I'm heading over there, I'll be back in a second." That said, Cedric bounded out of the door, shifting his grip on his axe before it cut off a piece, and went across the street at a quick pace that wasn't running. Running attracted attention, which was bad right now.

Cedric got to the door and knocked. It was opened by a woman that looked exactly like Cedric, except female. Which was quite a sight. Though her shirt was closed, it revealed a fair amount of her cleavage. Her eyes, instead of his blue, were a bright orange that seemed to burn, unlike Cedric's ocean-blue. Across her back on a strap hung a red broadsword that seemed to have patches of darker red across it.

"Hello, neighbor. You look a lot like me and carry a weapon opposite mine. Any reason for that?" Cedric shook himself mentally and replied "Sort of... only you wouldn't totally believe it. My name is Cedric Wargunsson-" Suddenly the woman gasped. "That's my family's name! I'm Cirdec Wargunsson, daughter of-" (intentionally skipping names!) "Wait a minute. Your parents are still alive?" "Of course, aren't yours?" "This requires a bit of explanation." "Come in and tell me about yourself!" Cirdec invited, stepping back to let Cedric in.

-One long explanation later, including Cedric's history (you'll get more flashbacks soon)-

Cirdec stretched her back while she was sitting down. "Wow. That's so horrible. And also very hard to believe. If it wasn't for the fact that I grew up around Lucca's family and you look like me, I wouldn't believe it." Cedric nodded. "I'm still having trouble believing it... Want to go meet the rest of our little group?" Cirdec stood, strapping on her red broadsword. "Sure, Cedric." Cedric stood as well, and they both walked out.

When they reached the door, Cedric walked in first. "This dimension is really creepy... yet also unique. This is my alternate twin, Cirdec." Cirdec took one step forward, waved cheerfully, then shouted "Lucca!"

And Cirdec attempted to glomp her best friend.

OOC:Meet Cirdec, my alternate reality self (the two shall refer to each other as their twin, however.)

"But shouldn't you be concerned as well?" Lucca asked, "If this is the same thing as before but in a different way, then it may seem that the future of your country may be at stake also."

While Crimson was aware things weren't normal, he didn't doubt that the Dimension that he came from could be faced with danger, he wouldn't pretend otherwise.

"An answer to your question...no, the answer to your question to me is that yes, I realize this is some parallel dimension to my own, and that that dimension may in danger at any time now...

While I am aware of the severity of the situation, letting my emotions get to me won't make dealing with the crisis any easier. Though I do fear for my sister Sophia's safety, I have to stay focused."

After looking around at everyone in the room, he added "It would seem we all had a dream with the same little girl in it, who gave us each a different power, then this happened...I have to believe we were given these powers for a reason, to use them to overcome this adversity."

"Wait... You're saying that I'm stuck here... With..." (He though about other Raistlin and how boring he looked.) "Boring people?! No, I refuse to accept it. If Liana can make something that brings us here, and her invention skills are as adept as a flea is in reading a book, you sure as shit can fix it."

"Seems so. I can try to fix it with my family's notes about time but I'm not sure. I can try to create a way into another dimension but I've not heard of anyone who can! I'll try to get to work on something right now!" Lucca said as another of the group spoke.

"In any case, since we are in an alternate dimension, I assume there are alternate versions of us. Is that true?"

"It depends....You may have another version of yourself, but whether the version of yourself is alive or dead is up to how they lived their lives...This conversation is odd. I never thought I'd get to meet time- uh I mean dimension travelers such as yourself!" Lucca told her excitedly.

"Lucca!" went the neighbor of Luccas who ran in to hug her.

Lucca was stunned by the girls sudden hug. "Now really Cirdec you shouldn't be so hastey as I have company. The state of our world may be at stake..."

Lucca turned to the wolf to hear his reply to her question from earlier.

"Which sister?" Lucca asked. "There may be another of here wandering around i thsi world. Do you intend to save both when the time comes?"

Locke sat in the corner of the room thinking. There ha dto be a way he could get home. As he saw Cedrics lookalike and Liana's entering the room he had to wonder: Where was his family? The whole parrallel topic just made him think about a pain that had already hurt him and his mother before. Breaking his thoughts, the demi human began to speak.

"It would seem we all had a dream with the same little girl in it, who gave us each a different power, then this happened...I have to believe we were given these powers for a reason, to use them to overcome this adversity."

"I don't remember mentioning anything of a dream wolf." Locke said looking sternly.

He did not believe that any of this was happening right now. "I don't care what this is! I'm gonna find my way home!" he shouted as he ran from the house and out of the town.

He was headed for Leene's bell, a place where he had always gone back in his world when he needed time alone.

Upon hearing of some good news for a change, Raistlin calmed down a little bit and sat down. It was quite the paradox of being in a place that was so exciting with dragons in what not, but everyone else being so bland. There really wasn't much to do. He could sit down and complain all day (and was in face one of his favorite past times), but in the end, it wouldn't get anything done.

He held out his hand and generated a small flow of electricity between his fingers as he said to Lucca, "I'm quite the master of the elements, if you need any assistance, I can help you. Or at least try."

The wolf made quite a good observation. They all did have the same dream, and at they were all bestowed some kind of power.

"The only problem with that is that I don't think I received anything. I was told I had gotten lightning, but that's something I've had for years. Father has been teaching me the arts of the Mage since before I could walk. I would really like to know what I've gained."

Before anyone could reply, Locke got upset, and ran off. Probably towards that bell that he liked so much. "I'll go after him. The last thing he needs is another dragon popping up beside him and no one to help him kill it."

Crimson Wolf
Persistence

Raistlin replied to what Crimson had spoke, saying "The only problem with that is that I don't think I received anything. I was told I had gotten lightning, but that's something I've had for years. Father has been teaching me the arts of the Mage since before I could walk. I would really like to know what I've gained."

But after he finished, before anyone else could respond to this, Locke jumped in with "I don't remember mentioning anything of a dream wolf." while looking sternly at Crimson Wolf, then after a moment he shouted "I don't care what this is! I'm gonna find my way home!" just before running right out of the house and out of the town itself.

"I'll go after him. The last thing he needs is another dragon popping up beside him and no one to help him kill it." he stated. Crimson's understanding of the situation due to this changed little, though he wondered momentarily why then, did Locke get dragged with the others, all of which other than him, it would seem, had some dream with a little girl bestowing upon them each a different power...

"Raistlin, perhaps you have to be pushed right to your limit in battle now, before you can discover what it is you can do that you were unable to in the past. Just a thought..." Crimson explained, as surely he has the ability to do something he could not before, his thought of everyone, other than Locke, having some newly acquired power, was a persistent one.

"And about that Locke...maybe something of his connection with Liana who invented that device that brought us here, had something to do with the exception of him getting dragged here as well...? Some details of this whole event just aren't making a lot of sense to me...only doing my best to understand it, its not like I'm used to getting warped to alternate dimensions..."

He seemed quite calm while he was speaking, but he was starting to get mildly flustered over this confusion, with his furry tail that had been hanging across the right side of the chair starting to slowly raise up away from it, then slap back into the side of the chair lightly, he repeated this as he sat otherwise still, thinking, until he turned his head to face Lucca, who had spoke to him again a moment ago.

"Which sister?" Lucca asked. "There may be another of here wandering around I this world. Do you intend to save both when the time comes?" This is what Crimson had been thinking about for a moment before starting to respond, he had never really thought of there being a second Sophia in this parallel dimension, but it would make sense that she wouldn't know him if that parallel her saw him...

"Never thought of there being a second Sophia here...but I'm positive her from this dimension wouldn't know me from another dimension. If there were one of myself in this dimension, that would be her brother, not me...so I couldn't see her as being a sister to me, I have only one, who is back in my dimension..."

Turning his down and away to a side, closing his eyes as he did, he took a short number of seconds to remain calm and not let fear for his sister's well being take any hold of him, then continued to speak.

"I may have one rather pressing question; if and how can one get from this dimension back to the other? I have to wonder if anything changed much back there since getting taken into this dimension, if things are different for them too...if nothing has really changed there, at least not yet, it should still be safe. I hope it is..."

He never shifted his head or opened his eyes while he was speaking, or immediately after, he was in thought, but trying to keep optimistic, not insisting that the worst had happened, but hoping it hadn't, at least not until he might be there to protect his sister.

But this could be a much greater conflict, that brings many lives into danger, he had to try redirect his thoughts towards the bigger picture, and be focused on whatever has to be done as events continue to unfold and developments arise.

OOC: You never said you had ran out of the house yet Rincewind, but if you are already gone, I can edit that one line to be "Perhaps Raistlin has to be pushed right to his limit in battle now, before he can discover what it is he can do that he was unable to in the past. Just a thought..."

Stephen watched as two of their little group ran out, only a couple of lines of speech after each other, then the demi-human began to talk about his sister. he looked to the side away from the Demi-human and thought about his own family, maybe they were completely different in this Dimension, maybe he was never born here.

he Shook his head removing these thoughts from his head and decided that the Demi Human was right here in this Dimension, they weren't his family, they were just other people. "your right" Stephen announced as he took a couple of Steps towards the Demi-human "the rest of these guys seem to know each other, the Name is Stephen" he announced loud enough for everyone left in the room to hear, then a smirk crawled onto his face "my friends call me Snow" he added "I guess that has become literal" he joked

Cirdec chuckled, embarrassed, and drew away from her friend. "Sorry, Lucca. Force of habit." Cedric shook his in wonder at his alternate twin. "I'm not even this bad..." Cedric muttered. Cirdec cast a mock glare at her twin."I heard that, twinny." "It would have been wasted if you hadn't." Then they both laughed. Yep, they were two sides of the same coin alright.

Then the demi-human spoke, and mentioned how they all had dreamed of a little girl, in his case wolf. "I did as well. I remember it clearly. I was surrounded by comfortable darkness, but in one area that darkness felt malicious, evil, dooming. Then the little girl appeared in a brilliant shining light that cowed away that darkness. She said she bestowed on me the power of darkness, that light will not always stop darkness."

Cirdec only listened faintly. She had heard all of this before. Then Locke shouted out he was leaving and ran off, towards the bell. "You guys better go after him. People who go near that bell disappear for some reason." Cirdec commented. Cedric stared at her, before turning and sprinting out the door, just barely hearing Snow's introduction. "I'm off to make sure Locke's alright! Catch up with me when you can!"

That said, he was off, sprinting after Locke. Cirdec sighed. "I hope twinny will be okay."

Raistlin listened to what Crimson had to say, and thought about it a little bit before heading off. The only thing that Raistlin could see him getting from this entire situation was... More power. Sure, he would love it, but in some sense it would be quite anticlimactic.

Running after Locke, he knew that he would have to hurry. Locke was one of the least boring people he had ever met, why not hurry and save him? With that goal in mind, he took off towards the bell.

Stephen heard Cirdec commented on how people who go to the bell disappear "well thats just not good" Stephen announced thinking for a moment "well, i figure i can help them avoid vanishing" Stephen announced as he jogged over to the door "I'll see you guys there if your coming, if not, then your chicken wusses" he announced, in a mocking tone before Sprinting off after the others.

Crimson Wolf
Pursuit

Seeing as three of the people had left the building, Crimson had decided to go after Locke as well, as the others went after him. He got up from the seat, but before he starting making his way towards the door, Snow jogged over to the door.

"I'll see you guys there if your coming, if not, then your chicken wusses" he announced, in a mocking tone before sprinting off after the others. It would seem most everyone had gone now, but looking over at who was left in the room as he headed to the door, he said "Looks like the others have their mind made up, I'm going to follow suit. One by one everyone is leaving...I would expect to see you guys there before long as well, but I leave that up to you."

After saying this he proceeded to walk through the door, then after outside the house he darted off towards the others that headed off before him, going by Snow first. "Didn't expect to lose me back there, did you?" he spoke in a joking manner as he hustled past Snow, running hard to catch up to Locke as soon as he could.

OOC: Is there just one other party member there that hasn't left yet...?

(OOC: It's Christiane I believe :hmmm: if not then Cedric...idk I haven't read much cause Rl keeps getting in the way...)

Locke sat underneath the ten story bell gazing around the nearby wood. He had thought of her for the first time in years. His twin sister. But she was dead, nothing could bring her back. Nothing was making sense anymore. The fact that one of Liana's inventions even worked was enough to believe that all of it was a dream.

Locke thought hard while sitting on a nearby stone. This couldn't be real. He was probably dreaming this very instant. In a moments notice Locke stood. He had a new determined attitude. He would not let this dream turn into a nightmare. That's all this was: a simple dream that he had to awake from.

"I'm gonna wake soon!" Locke screamed with a smile, his short moment of depression long gone.

Locke then heard a rustling in the nearby forest. He turned in suprise. This had become one of his most vivid dreams of his lifetime. He was simply dreaming of another adventure, only this one had monsters inside of it. With these notions in his head, Locke was able to shake of reality. Maybe the Wolf was right in just accepting things, Locke thought, after all he probably isn't real anyways.

The noise came again and out of nowhere a light descended from the bell above. The begng looked like a monster and it spoke:

"YOU-WHO-HAVE-JOURNEYED-PAST-YOUR-TIME-ARE-NOT-WELCOME-HERE."
it spoke as it came slowly from the skies.

Locke spotted his friend Raistlin who was not far away, probably following him from the beginning. "Raist!" Locke spoke befor the creature finally came down to his level.

The creature was huge, at least fifteen feet tall. Locke stared in wonder. What could this beast be? It began to speak again: "YOU WHO HAVE CROSSED THE BARRIER OF THIS WORLD MUST BE DESTROYED"

The creature came at them with it's mighty spear, ready to stirke. "FOR-I-WILL-PROTECT-THE-CHRONO-PULSE!"

"Well then bring it!" Locke shouted grinning ready for a challenge.

His fists began to glow. He would do anything to enjoy this dream while it lasted.

As Stephen sprinted to the bell he could hear noises, and then he heard one of the people who came to this dimension shouting "Well then bring it!" Stephen smirked as he heard this and formed an Ice ball in his hand ready for a fight.

As he burst through the last bush he saw a large 15 foot tall monster wielding a spear and smirked "get some" he announced as he threw the spiked ice ball, hitting it in the chest, causing it to spin and face him, a grim look on it's face "your an ugly git aint ya" Stephen joked

Crimson Wolf
Encounter

As Crimson got close to being caught up with Locke, he saw a huge monstrosity standing some fifteen feet high, this could be some serious trouble.

'Where to begin against this thing...' he thought to himself, questioning how do you even bring down something so much bigger than yourself, or even inflict something resembling pain to it.

"This...won't be fun." he uttered, as he stopped a moment near Locke, then not knowing what this colossus might be capable of, he made his charge at it, hoping this enemy may be slow, considering it's size.

Rushing at it, he headed a bit wide trying to keep to it's left side, the side without the hand wielding the huge spear. As he closed the distance, he would have a long ways up to leap, he had prepared to make a lunge up at his left arm, behind his large shield.

Leaping at it with all his strength getting just in reach of it, using what momentum he had to slash into it's arm with both of his arms as it looked the least protected part of it, as it's torso was covered in armour.

Landing back down, he started moving to get out of it's reach. Facing all these very large enemies, this was getting rather tiresome having to get far away from it to be out of it's range of attack.

With the wind at his back he rushed out of it's range fast as possible, it's spear came swiping down at him, as it did he leaped high again once it got close, though not as high as if to be nearing it's arm level.

Christiane decided to walk through the forested area like she did in her reality. But upon hearing the sounds of battle came rushing down to meeting Locke, Crimson Wolf and Stephen engaging in battle with a 15' giant with a spear and shield.

"What is that thing?"

The creature caught Christy off guard, swinging the shield like a bludgeoning weaponing and hitting her in the head, knocking her down.

"Okay, if you want to start hitting girls with weapons, I can already say you're no ally of mine." Christy started to get up, her hands glowing. As soon as she got up, she fired off a fireball aiming squarely for the head.

Raistlin heard Locke shout out his name, and watched as shortly after this tall beast of a... thing, came towards them. It must have been damned near 15 feet tall, and that spear looked rather... deadly.

"FOR-I-WILL-PROTECT-THE-CHRONO-PULSE!"

"Look, I don't care what you want, or who you are, but something as ugly as you are simply can't be allowed to live." Raistlin looked at the others who had arrived. "Okay, seeing as I'm the Mage of the group, I'll stay back, while you guys circle it. Don't stay bunched up. Spread out."

Using his magic, he hurled a rather huge chunk of rock from the earth and threw it at the beast.

"This is going to be rather fun." Raistlin said.

(Since this is somewhat of an experimental RP, lets try chaining our attacks together! Plus, it'll be sure to take out this beasty faster so we can get back to the story! Chaining is kinda like using the skills of everyone to attack the creature at once. Since a creature's defenses are set it will deal massive damage. To begin a chain just have your characters declare one. All who will join in are welcome to just have your character pitch in.)

Locke could see the creature becoming angered at it's disturbance. His fists glowed as he struck the creature in the torso. All of this damage was getting them nowhere. "Why isn't it working?" he grumbled.

He was thinking of something, but he didn't know if it woud work. "Maybe if we work together..." Locke thought.

He shot up into the air towards the creatures head. "Hey, back me up someone!" Locke said trying to blast a punch at the creatures head.

"I've got your back, Locke!" Late in arriving, but not for the fight, Cedric finally appeared, axe in hand. He charged forward, jumping high to match Locke's height. Cedric watched as Locke punched, and, thinking fast, swung his axe down to strike right next to Locke's fist. "Take two strikes at once, you scumbag from hell!" Cedric roared as his axe connected.

Cirdec sighed and leaned back, her broadsword off her shoulder next to the chair she was in. She was really worried about her alternate reality twin. True, if the alternate reality thing held up, he would be as good in a fight as she was. That didn't mean anything, though, if he was heading for the bell. Cirdec turned her head toward her friend. "What's your opinion on these people from the other realm, Lucca?"
