-Chrono Pulse-^-

Stephen saw the man who had just clocked the dragon across the jaw with one hell of a hook crawling away from the beast "dammit" he announced as he sprinted across the beach and grabbed the man's Bicep with his left hand, he lifted the man to his feet and began dragging him away from the Dragon, using his right hand to form another spiked Ice ball and proceeded to throw it at the Dragon.

When they got a safe distance away he sat the man against a tree and looked at him "you alright man, pretty ballsy there" he announced, glancing back over his shoulder quickly to check on the Dragon "could have gotten yourself killed there, why not leave the insane stunts to those of us with mental issues" Stephen joked

As the battle raged on, Crimson saw an opening to attack, as it was distracted by the others. Rushing in to strike a different area of it, he made a charge towards it, leaping up to slash fiercely at it's tail, causing the Dragon to growl ferociously, but still focusing on others in front of him, seeing as it would seem it couldn't attack all of them at once.

Crimson was able to get safely out of it's range before it would ever attempt to crunch him or slam into him with it's tail again. He took a moment to look around at how the others were faring in their fight against it before readying himself again to attack.

OOC: Sorry, short post is short. And Limit Breaks? :awesome: Nice! Can hardly wait for those. Wonder how much stronger than the normal attacks they would be. :hmmm:

Cedric brought his axe back for another swing when a claw from the now very irritated dragon sent him flying, though he caught the blow on his axe handle so it didn't make him bleed from a cut. The bashing into tree and blow itself broke a few ribs. "Ow. Since when do mythical creatures do that much damage?" Cedric muttered before picking himself up. He then noticed, since he was farther back from the battle, that it seemed to be a bit darker for some reason.

"What the..." Cedric waved his hand in front of his face. "Creepy...." Cedric's eyes scanned the battle. Locke launched a nice hook at the dragon's head, while the person throwing ice balls which was probably magic pulled Locke away from the dragon. The demi-human went around and hit the dragon in the tail, though the dragon remained focused on Locke and the ice man. Cedric decided to fix that. Releasing his emotions once more, he charged forward at the dragon.

Stopping directly below the head that didn't seem to notice him yet, Cedric brought his axe back and then swung at the beast's head. A beam of darkness shot forth and struck it in a smooth blow, snapping the dragon's head back momentarily. Cedric only let his awe last for a single thought:

How in the world did I know how to do that?

Christiane saw Cedric, Locke, and two other figures engage the dragon using magic, while she looked in awe of them. More importantly, was her awe at herself.

"That girl....did she.....No time to think about it now." She put her focus back on the fight against the dragon.

With that, Christiane ran forward while the dragon was the distracted. Christy humped when she was almost to the dragon, and launched a kick at it towards it's spine. The kick was charged with Electricity and when it connected with the beast, dealt a devastating blow. Christiane rolled back and landed bac on her feet.

as Stephen watched the others throw attack at the Dragon Stephen Extended his hand and another Spiked Ice ball formed in the palm of his hand "I'm taking you down" he announced as he threw the Ice ball at the creature.

It Flew through the air but by now the Dragon had realized what Stephen kept doing and whipped it's tail around to knock the Ice ball out of the air, the tail then swung back and knocked Stephen through the air so he landed on the beach.

Picking himself up slowly he held his ribs as he stared at the Dragon forming another Ice ball, he waited for the dragon to have it's back turned to him and then threw it, the ball landed on the back of the creatures head, causing it to jolt forward. It rapidly spun it's head around and screeched at Stephen "why do i always do this stupid ass crap" Stephen announced as he dove to the side in order to avoid the Dragon's jaws snapping shut upon where he was

"Guess it's my turn." Crimson spoke under his breath, as he contemplated for a moment his next move. Being restricted to close range combat, his options were somewhat limited, but his attacks seemed to be damaging it noticeably, so continuing as he had been he went in to attack a third time.

Closing in on the beast as he did last time, to back-attack it's tail, which could be considered risky as it is also something it uses to attack, he came to a decision to attack a bit differently.

"I'm hungry." he announced, just before once again leaping up to attack it's tail, but this time sticking his claws into it to cling to it as he tore away at it with his sharp teeth, causing it to screech out loudly, until he got shaken off of it, but not hit to be taking damage, catching his fall as he landed, and flipped right over as it attempted to slam into him with it's tail as he got out of it's reach.

He ran around to be positioned straight in front of it a short distance out of range, then faced it and said "I'm getting a lot of tail from you, why don't you try using your head?" in attempt to provoke it to attack at him with it's fangs when he would charge at it again. He had a plan for when it would, and intended to set it in motion as soon as he would dash at it from the front as he did at first.

(OOC: haha I find it funny that Crimson has so many interesting convos with the dragon! Anyways, lets get back to this!)

"could have gotten yourself killed there, why not leave the insane stunts to those of us with mental issues"

Locke was suprised at the mans comment and watched as he went back to join the fight. He watched as the man with iceballs conjured up the ice with his concentration and tried to mimick it. Locke held out his arm, his fists still glowing. He closed his eyes to concentrate and then finally he felt the energy around his fists move thorugh his arm. He began to move the enegery through his arm with his mind. His eyes opened as he focused on the battle. Others were still fighting.

He pointed at the dragon and thought really hard. "Photon Beam!" his wrist light up even lighter than before as a blast of energy shot the beast square in the chest.

The dragon was weakening and roared ferociously as it began to take flight in the air. It began flapping it's wings at the ocean water, creating a massive tidal wave heading towards them. "Agh! Brace yourselves!" Locke yelled as he took hold of a nearby shrub.

There was no way he could possibly escape it, and the others were inc lose range too. They would all just have to deal with the impact...

OOC: It makes for a more interesting read imo, and it adds depth, longer battle posts meaning the posts have the most gotten out of them and aren't wasted. ;] And damn, things being fixed right down to the littlest detail as an action in battle...I suppose bracing myself for it won't reduce the damage...? But realistically it would... :/

I know I said I would try cut down on the complaining, but this annoys me so much...but such is the reality of battle... -_-

The Dragon took flight, flapping it's wings at the water, creating a massive tidal wave. "Should have known there would be no getting through to it." Crimson exclaimed, before looking around at everyone engaged in battle against it, and raised his voice for all of them to surely hear.

"As he said," he spoke, looking over at Locke, whose name he did not yet know, "brace yourselves for impact, doesn't look like there is any avoiding this." More quietly he added "I hate Dragons..." grumbling, annoyed.

Trusting that the others would prepare to take on the attack as well, he proceeded to position himself. He placed his left leg behind slightly, bending his knees a little, lowering his head, and his ears, with his arms crossed in front of his head, eyes shut tight. He was nearly shaking with anticipation for the attack, standing firmly on the ground, ready as he could be for the impact of a tidal wave.

As the Dragon took flight and began flapping it's wings, Stephen saw the Tidal wave rushing towards the beach "haha, water freezes" he announced as he sprinted to the center of the dotted around party members, his hand hand an intense blue glow by this point and he pointed the palm of his hand at the tidal wave, he then unleashed a volley of energy that hit the water, part of the tidal wave froze, but the power of the torrent behind it shattered the ice "shit not strong enough" he announced as he dove to the floor and placed his hands on the ground, out of nowhere two blocks of ice appeared, almost looking like frozen handles on the beach, he then grabbed them and held on for dear life.

Raistlin knew that this had to be a dream. However, by the looks of it, it couldn't be a very good one. He was in what appeared to be some sort of ruin. Though, he couldn't work out what this place used to be. It was very dim lit, and somewhat hard to find his way around. Putting his hand against the cold stone, he could estimate the ruin to be hundreds of years old.

“For a dream, it's very vivid”, thought Raistlin as he walked further down the long hallway. As interesting as this was, he was getting annoyed that there were no turns... at all. So he kept walking forward, down this dimly lit tunnel in hopes that he would either wake up, or this dream would get better.

As he thought that, that's when he saw her. A girl, sitting alone in a room at the end of the hallway. Raistlin walked towards her into the huge open room. Then he quickly noticed that save for the chair the girl was sitting it, the room was empty. “I don't know who you are, but you should seriously work on those decorating skills.”

The girl had pale blue eyes, was light skinned, and wore purple robes. “Well, aren't you cute. It figures, only in my dreams can I meet a girl anywhere near interesting enough. However, knowing my luck, you're complete and total jailbait.”

“I see you're already well versed in magic.” The girl said to him. “Oh, really? Was it my awesome presence or my charming good looks that told you that?” Raistlin remarked.

“You have a spark to you... You're lightning, that's your element.” The girl said to him. “Take it, use it well, and try to save what's left of your world.” Looking rather offended, Raistlin replied, “Oh, so you get to make the rules now? It's my dream, damn it. H-hey, don't you walk away from me.” Though it was too late, she was now gone, and Raistlin was waking up.

[End music]

Raistlin woke up. “Shit. I can't even get laid in my dreams.” He put on his glasses, brushed his long red hair, and put on his robes. It was time to go see what his friends were up to. Using a small invisibility spell, he set out to spy on his friends.

After finding his friends, he learned that Liana was apparently ready to blow something up again, that was always funny. So he followed them, still invisible, to the beach, where Liana would probably be needing a medic.

After testing her device, Raistlin noticed something... Things weren't the same anymore. They were not at the same beach. Even though it did look like it, simple things such as the sky changing color, as well as the water, kind of gave it away.

Most importantly, he wasn't near his friends. They were gone, and he was alone. So he dropped the invisibility spell and took off to the high ground to find out where everyone was. Upon climbing the highest hill he could see, he noticed an oddity. A huge dragon was fighting what appeared to be his friends. They were holding him off, but things looked like they were picking up.

“Wind magic, while difficult to control will give me a boost in the air. I should be able to push myself on it's back, and I can use my lightning spell on it. It looks massively wounded, so I'm going to go for it.” Raistlin noticed the dragon taking off. "Note to self, blast a little upwards."

[Start Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyrRo6CeAvA]

Blasting himself off the hill using wind magic, he zoomed rather quickly, out of control, yet heading straight for the dragon's back. This worked... But I had better not try it again. I could have easily landed in the ocean.

Landing on the dragon's back. He let all of his lightning spells fly. He hit him once in the head, and two more times in the back while lightning flew from his fingertips onto the dragon. Hearing it roar, he landed next to his friends on the beach.

“Hi, guys. How about this weather?” He then noticed the tidal wave heading in their direction. "Oh shit."

Locke gasped just in time for the dragon to fall to the ground hurt. His friend who seemed to have popped out of nowhere grinned at him from above.

“Hi, guys. How about this weather?”

"I was wondering when you'd show Raist." Locke said as he was used to Raistlin's old invisibility tricks by now.

Locke watched the ocean water rise, and then fall back as if nothing had happened. It seemed that the beast had been defeated. "So how long have you been following us?" Locke teased.

He was cut off by the appearance of the dragon. It had begun to dissinegrate into thin air. Locke staired in wonder. What kind of creature was this? It surely wasn't from his world. "Just where the hell are we?" Locke whispered.

Chapter 1 - The Magic Bearers
Scene 1 Music-Beginning

Locke stood among his friends and the others just as confused but thinking aloud. "Okay, I'm just as confused as you guys..." he began. "It seems that we've been giving some sort of magical abilities of some sort...Even though real magic doesn't exist."

Locke was deep in thought. "I wonder if it had something to do with that dream....Nevermind, it was Liana's invention! I bet she could tell us what's going on. Come on!" Locke said to his friends as he began to head back to Guardia village.

She would know what was going on, after all Liana could fix anything! And what about his mother? She'd be worried if there were such beasts roaming the lands now. He took off...

(Liana in this world is mostly for me to mod, but feel free to control her when we get there. Just don't make her say anything specific about what happened: tis my job! ^^ )

Cedric watched as the tidal wave died down as Rasitlin finally appeared and struck it down. "RAISTLIN! You crazy pyscho! One more second and you'd have a bunch of drowned bodies on your hand!" Cedric called up, not entirely displeased by his friend's appearance. The dragon began to disintegrate as Cedric stared at it. This was not normal at all. Actually, it reminded him of when the bandits popped up...

BEGIN FLASHBACK!!! (If you don't want to know a bit of Cedric's history, skip this.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5wqIafRKms

Cedric rushed along the forest, his father in front, his mother behind. The house behind them was burning, and there was cursing and laughter, both very loud, as the rouge men behind them realized their quarry had escaped. They were pursuing after, and an arrow appeared right to the left of Cedric's foot. Cedric shouted in surprise and moved quicker, struggling to keep up with his father. Cedric had his green axe, given to him by his father, in his hand, and his father and mother each held a longsword and shield.

A few bandits appeared, and Cedric's father charged forward and met them in combat. "Go! I'll deal with them!" Cedric's mother ushered Cedric away from the fight and the two continued to run. Another group appeared, and Cedric's mother stepped up, her blade flashing as it nimbly stabbed and retreated into a man's body, blood spurting from the wound. "Run Cedric! We'll find you when it's safe! Stay away from the light!" Cedric, though he was worried about his parents, obeyed like the loyal son he was, and sped off into the night, the darkness enveloping him....

END FLASHBACK!!! (music end too!)

Cedric shook his head and re-focused as Locke suggested that the group go find Liana at Guardia Village. "Sounds like a good plan, Locke. I think it best we stick together until we know the extent of our powers and where we are." Cedric strapped his axe to his back with a sheath he had made a short while ago and followed after his friend.

OOC: That explains how his parents died and his fondness for darkness. Next flashback will be a peek at his old life!

Having seen the the water calm right down, he dropped his guard, as he saw the now fallen Dragon starting to disintegrate into the air, something he hadn't seen before. He found it odd, but never thought about commenting on it, as how their enemy disappears is of no concern, and is an insignificant detail.

After two of the people there that spoke, had finished speaking, then skipping asking any questions Crimson cut straight to the matters at hand as he saw them head in the Village's direction, "Guardia Village...it's not too far from here, hopefully we will have some answers soon, then." he spoke, seeming pretty laid back, as he followed along with them.

As he caught up with them, having not ran to catch up, but walk a casual pace, he added "Don't know about you two, but I'm glad to have not been drenched by that wave back there..." in an almost comical tone, though being genuinely grateful the tidal wave didn't come crashing down on him.

Stephen smirked as the wave died down, "so, you all know each other" Stephen announced in a sarcastic tone, as he turned to follow the rest, quite glad that he hadn't been hit by that wave, considering the two ice handles he was gripping weren't all that sturdy and he could have been washed away without anyone realizing.

Stephen joined the others who were heading back to Guardia village, he jogged to catch up with them, and as he walked by their side he looked at the palm, the blue glow had stopped, but he realised he could conjure ice at a simple thought, "i must have gotten use to the ice" he muttered to himself, to quiet for any of the others to hear him

Christiane, after seeing the dragon die, decided to follow the group to find Liana back at the village. She was still wondering how she got her powers, which led to her thinking back.

"The dream...."

----

Christiane was walking back from the forest when she saw Guardia village on fire. She ran towards the village, hoping to save someone there. But when she got to the entryway, the buildings collapsed, preventing entry.

Christy fell on her knees, with tears streaming down her face and her punching the ground. When a little purple-robed girl with blue hair appeared.

"Who..who are you?" Christiane asked.

"My name is of no importance, however you are distressed about the loss of your village."

"Please, tell me someone is still alive?"

The girl placed her hand on Christiane. "I will give you the power of fire, use this power to protect the people you care about the most." The girls hand glowed with a brilliant light. After this she walked into the inferno, dissapearing in the fire.

----

Christy got back into focus and saw her friends, and those who helped take down the water dragon leave without her. "Hey, wait up!!" She ran forward to meet back with them.

“So, how long have you been following us?” Asked Locke. Raistlin smiled one of his famous smirks, “Long enough to know when to drop in and save your asses.” He was then greeted by Cedric, “RAISTLIN! You crazy psycho! One more second and you'd have a bunch of drowned bodies on your hand!” Looking at Cedric, he replied “On my hand? I would have probably left you all here and gotten someone to carry you all back.”

Noticing the dragon's quite odd disappearance, Raistlin muttered to himself, “I love this place.” Locke and Cedric started walking towards the village, and Raistlin followed. Finally something interesting was happening. He was getting quite bored lately. “Come on, wolf boy.” He said aimed at Crimson in a playful manner.

Locke ran to the village. The layout was the same as he remembered, the same faces were visible. He spotted Liana's house and motioned others to follow. Knocking on the door, a woman answered with purple hair and glasses. She wore a yellow outfit and smiled. "Yes?" She asked.

"Um I'm looking for Liana...Is she home?" Locke asked.

"Liana? Oh! heh! That's my middle name!" She smiled, "can I help you with something?"

The girl looked different than the Liana Locke once knew, but now she was claiming to be his best friend. Locke couldn't help but wonder what was happening. "Well...my friends and I came to ask Liana about her Time Dimensional Vortex. It turned the sky dark and conjured a monster or something..." Locke spoke.

"For the last time, Liana's my middle name!" The girl said. "Lucca is my first! I don't think we've met before."

The girl looked at the other strangers. They didn't seem familiar to her. "You said something about time right..." The girl asked as she stroked her chin. "I think I may know what you're talking about... Come on inside."

Locke followed her inside the big home into a room filled with gadgets of all kinds and stood. "Now tell me everything..." she demanded...

------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Ah, so I see. This was an invention...And if my Hypothesis is correct, you all are from another dimension." Lucca spoke as she straightened her glasses gazing at Locke. "My family are a family of inventors so we have many notes on the issue."

"Another dimension?" Locke wondered...

(OOC: Feel free to ask Lucca lots of questions. She's a scientist who can answer almost anything^^)

Stephen followed the one known as locke until he reached a house. He knocked and after some talking entered, as Stephen followed into the house when invited and listened to the girl speak to Locke "so thats all you have to say" Stephen announced "come on, if somebody in our dimension could build a device to send us here, surely you have the same thing here" Stephen announced, gritting his teeth slightly "and if you and your family have such a brilliant mind, explain this" Stephen exclaimed as he extended his hand and a spiked ice balls appeared.

Crimson Wolf followed along with Locke, until they reached a house and he knocked on the door. A girl answered, whom introduced herself as Lucce, and that her family is a family of inventors, and invited them to come in.

He headed straight for a seat and proceeded to sit down in it, relaxed. He noticed Snow behaving somewhat aggressively, gritting his teeth at one point while he was speaking to Lucce.

"Relax, intimidation won't get us anywhere. She was kind enough to invite us in, simply ask and I feel she may answer to the best of her ability, and seeing as she is of a family of inventors, she must be quite knowledgeable." he spoke, seeming perfectly comfortable in the company of a complete stranger.

Looking over at Lucce, he decided to state his mind. "As for myself, I'm just going to take things as they come. I don't really have any questions of my own, doubt is a luxury I can't afford." he announced, then turning his head to face straight ahead, not looking at anything in particular.

Cedric watched as Locke got to Liana's house, only to be greeted by a girl name Lucca whose middle name was Liana. Lucca invited them inside, and Locke explained the situation. It turned out that Liana had gotten them to an alternate dimension. "Liana, you don't get us back, forget the spikes. I'm sticking BEARS in your room." Cedric muttered under his breath.

Then the ice man grew aggressive and asked if Lucca's family had a similar device, and to explain about their elemental abilities. The demi-human then spoke, attempting to placate the ice man and saying that it wasn't wise to piss off their current hosts. He also then added that he didn't really mind, and would just take things as they go. Cedric considered, then spoke.

"If this is an alternate dimension... would the people be changed besides you? I mean, like, say our parents were killed in our dimension. Would they be alive here, in this dimension?" Cedric paused, then added "I guess we forgot to introduce ourselves. My name's Cedric Wargunsson."
