Is this a straight remake of the original at all? Just with updated graphics? I hope so, from what I saw the original was amazingly addictive :wacky:
 
haha move over Mariocart. Is sure looks like a fun game. It was very fun back in the day! xD I would love to get my hands on it.....but first I'd need a 3DS :hmmm:
 
I never got to play the original, so I'm gonna enjoy it the second time around. Of course, I'll have to get the 3DS first too.

At first wasn't sure i'd like it 'cause of the 3D but, it doesn't look all that bad.

I don't think so. It looks very similar but the characters are designed differently, and either the power-ups are visible on the vehicles or all of the vehicles are different.

Actually the vehicles are different anyway... The White Mage was on a flying carpet in the original, and Mog was on a scooter.

The same characters appear to be in it, but they'll probably add some more in too.


I really loved Chocobo Racing on the PS, and this looks like it is pretty similar so it should be fun. :monster:
 
I might get it anyway, I have ALWAYS wanted it since I saw it shown on the back of my FF8 booklet :wacky:
 
This looks fun :grin: I am planning to save for the 3DS and the games seem really awesome. Are there weapons you can use like MarioKart?
 
Yeah, from what i've seen you can use items and spells from FF games (least in the original) as well as special abilities like Gunblade and Mega Flare.
 
A new KH game and Chocobo Racing on the 3DS are good and all, but if SE ever does confirm a FFVI remake on the 3DS, I will do a little cheer. :andry:

I have to say, the 3DS lineup is looking great.....there's been talk of a possible FF game on it, a new Kid Icarus, as well as even things like an Ocarina of Time port, Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid etc. :hmmm:

But I'm eager to see how this game turns out though.....to see if it can be a good competitor to Mario Kart.
