Characters you never ulitized?

Of all the FF games that you've played, which are the characters from each game that you never really utilized no matter how many times you played the game through?

For me:

FFVI
I never used Umaru...no matter how many times I play the game, I never use him...I really don't see a point. He's strong, but...useless...
And I never used Mog either.

FFVII
There isn't a single character that I didn't use in FFVII. I love them all pretty much equally, and I found them all to be handy in some way or another.

FFVIII
Never used Irvine or Zell...never...I hated their limits.
I always have a party with Quistis or Selphie; I love their limits the most.
And I SELDOM ever used Rinoa.

FFIX
For some reason, I never used Eiko. She has some really great spells handy, but I always used Garnet as my white mage.
Rarely ever used Freya or Quina either...

FFX
Never used Kimahri...never...I just never took the time to build up his blue magic inventory.
I only used Wakka for underwater battles in the battle arena.

FFXII
I've started playing FFXII on two different gamesaves and I've used two entirely different parties both times. =]

VI- i never used gogo, though I did find him/her interesting
VII-didn't use Barett or however you spell his name
VIII-didn't use Rinoa or Zell
X- I didn't use Lulu
XII- I don't use pinello
 
Okay, I never not utilized a character because I like playing them all throughout the game, so I'm going to say the ones I used the least.

FFVII -- Cid. On both playthroughs until I figured out that he was stronger than what I first thought him to be.

FFVIII -- Rinoa. For obvious reasons, she was away from the party for long periods of time. (I actually never used her.)

FFIX -- Amarant. I don't know why. Although Eiko I never used too, maybe that's because they entered teh game through late.

FFX -- I used them all equally, thanks in part to the awesome battle system.
 
I utilized all of them. I like keeping my characters on the same level...and reach level 100 in the same pace.

But I must say that with XII, I got all my characters to level 45...but decided to screw it and finish the game. So I leveled Vaan, Basch, and Balthier up to 50, and the 3 girls were left at 45. And then I finished the game. :D
 
FFVI - I didn't use Gau, Umaro, Relm....they just seem weak to me.
FF VII - Cait Sith because I hated him and he was weak.
FF VIII - I didn't use Irvine very much, as well as Rinoa.
FF IX - I never used Amarant, nothing against him, I just didn't like using him.
FF X - I actually used all characters. It's easy switching back and fourth.
FF XII - I didn't use Penelo and Ashe. The only girl I liked in this game was Fran.
 
FFVII: Cid, Cait Sith, Yuffie

FFVIII: Quistis, Rinoa, Selphie

FFX: Kimahri. =/

FFXII: Penelo & Ashe
 
FFIV - Edward. Recently I am trying to level him up and it is really annoying.

FFVI - Umaro, Gau. You don't really get control of them (Well, you do with Gau partially).

FFVII - Cait Sith. I have played this game like 20 times yet I don't think I have properly used Cait Sith apart from when it is compulsory.

FFVIII - Selphie. Physically she wasn't that strong and that was what I usually went for.

FFIX - Quina. Sort of the same as Cait Sith apart from the fact that I usually get Quina before she is actually compulsory.

FFX - Lulu. After awhile she isn't really needed.

FFXII - None. This game was easy to keep everyone the same level so I kept the same pattern of using 2 different parties to keep them all the same.
 
I did my best to try and use them all. Basically in order to use everything they have, limit breaks and such.
 
ff7 - aerith because i knew that she was going to die and my mentally was that: "why should i train someone who is going to die anyway?"

ff8- too many

ff9- even more than ff8

ff10 - tidus and wakka ( i just don't like them)

ff12 - vaan and penelo (they both are annoying...)
 
Pretty much all but the core characters. I play favorites in FF games. I hate spreading the wealth. I always have a grab bag of superheroes mixed in with slightly less than retarded tag-alongs.

Gau - Goes Berserk for entire Battle
Umaro- Above Reason

Only Cait Sith, because he is a giant stuffed animal.

FF8
Rinoa - Left my party way to often

FF9
I love them all Equally, I started many gamesaves with different parties

FFX
Kihmari, No Reason really

FF12
I would switched them in and out every so often
 
Rinoa DID keep leaving. That was quite annoying actually. =/. Which is why she was never used!

Yuna was on the edge of not being used either. She left about 2 times throughout the whole game.

Kimahri left at a critical moment during the game. Right before the second Seymour fight. Best training area. =/. Lame.
 
IV-Edward because he was useless.

V-Used everyone so far. Still playing though.

VI-Same as above.


VII-Cait Sith because he was irritating. Everyone else got used at some point though I rarely used Aeris or Tifa.

VIII-Used everyone but Rinoa. Couldn't stand her and she was always out of commission.

IX-Amarant. He was kind of weak. I also rarely used Quina.

X-I think I used everyone because they were easily changeable.

XII-Ashe, Vaan, Fran. I didn't like them.

7 - cait sith and aeris - yawn yawn
8 - quistis selphie and rinoa
9 - quina- i liked quina but not as a fighter
12 - penelo ashe fran - yawn yawn
 
ff4: edward-no explanation necessary

ff5:physically impossible to not use a character

ff6:locke, celes, gogo, cyan(til later stages of game)

ff7:barret and cait sith

ff8:quistis, selphie, irvine (rarely)

ff9:quina(apart from mirror mission)

ff10:kimahri (only used for his blue magic)

ff12:fran, balthier, penelo
 
I'm like Warbourne, used them all...
So I'm postng the ones I've used less...

But goes like:

IV - Yang - didn't like the guy

VI - Mog - hmmmm... hate him
- Umaro - Altough now I use him very much, I'm starting not use Relm.

VII - Cait Sith - I nee to say more?

VIII - Selphie - Hard to use with Limits.

IX - Wow - not one, I use them all, when I'm out of Memoria I use Zidane, Freya, Quina, Eiko. And Inside Memoria: Vivi, Steiner, Amarant, Dagger.

X - Kimahri - Don't like the guy.

XII - Penelo - Hard to use with quickenings.
 
FFVI - Gau, Gogo, Setzer, Cyan, Edgar, Sabin, Relm, Strago, Umaro, Shadow. i play favorites. Celes Locke Terra and Mog were all level 80 while those guys were level 30 ROFL.

FFVII - Tifa. obviously. and Cait sith.

FFVIII - Quistis, irvine and Selphie. Favouritism again :)

FFIX - Eiko entered the game too late. as did Amarant. Quina left too often. and Freya, although indespensible when you HAVE to use her, you lose her for a long time and by the time she's back shes weak compared to Zidane Garnet Vivi and steiner.

FFX - Khimarhi, Tidus and Wakka. again favouritism.

FFXII - Vaan and Balthier. i just didn't like them in battle...
