I was told by a buddy who works at play and trade to look at a few clips of this game, and I must say.. it looks hot. I am going ahead and create a thread for this game since I can't find any so far. Enjoy the clip.. I know I did.

Ok I give up on the youtube vid, I'll have to see what is going on with these settings.

Aaaah, I absolutely LOVE the Castlevania series! The handheld ones are absolutely brilliant, and I have very high hopes for Lords of Shadow. The 3D Castlevania games have, thus far, left a great deal to be desired...still, this looks set to turn it around.

...plus...Patrick Stewart is one of the voice actors!~<3 *hyper fan moment*

On a minor note...I can't wait to see the Death boss in this game. It is, in my opinion, always the most epic part of any Castlevania game.

I never really played the Castlevania games before. I know basically what they are, but I just couldn't be bothered to have a go at them beforehand. But from what I've heard, it was the 2D ones that really did shine. So I want to see how this game holds with the third dimension thrown in.

From what I've read, it's a reboot of the franchise. I hope they never go down the Castlevania Judgement route- which was a rubbish Wii beat em up.

I will probably pick up the game, however, I think Castlevania works better in 2D. I did not really enjoy the one for the N64.

But maybe this game will prove me wrong.

I liked every last castlevania except for this one, before I played it I was excited, I knew they was going in a different direction but If I knew they was going to completely change the game I would have borrowed it from someone instead. I only played it up until the second boss fight and stopped and gave away the game to my brother. This may be a stupid reason to hate the game but its just my view on the game is all, I hate theirs no castle which means no dracula, no candles to get hearts just freaking daggers the only sub weapon and even if you unlock more sub weapons it still wouldnt make up for the story which I just cant get into it. I just dont feel like im playing a castlevania with this one, the only thing that came close to the original ones would be when he jumps and wolfs/goblins thats it :I

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow producer teasing new game, namedrops Dracula

Konami's European Production Studio head and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow producer, David Cox, isn't much for ambiguity in his tweets. "Today and tomorrow I am in the land of Dracul... What am I doing there?? You will see...." he wrote earlier today. Despite his teasing, Cox wouldn't tell us anything beyond "No comment."

This is hardly the first indication of a sequel to 2010's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and it seems likely that Konami is once again working with Spanish studio MercurySteam. One employee posted the teaser image seen above to his website back in late January, specifically pointing out the connection to Konami.

Another staff member, taking to Spanish radio (via Eurogamer ES), mentioned his involvement with a sequel in late 2010 (though it's possible he was just riding high on the first game's then-recent debut). Konami's official line on the matter is ... well, nothing. The publisher hasn't made a peep regarding a new Castlevania.

Regardless, with PAX East just a few days away and the upcoming preview season, we expect it won't be long before Konami's tune changes. We'll keep an eye on Cox's Twitter feed as well, just in case.
