I'm just going to straight up ask it; so what happens when the actor gets a hard on? What do they do? Do they cut or do they have to keep going? I mean, I assume that they just use camera angle magic and not let it show, but I want to know a lot more than just that. I want to know what happens with the girl as well - does she have to avoid it, or just act like it's not even there, or what?

So many questions.

There's got to be stories, I don't know why nobody ever talks about this. I want to know.
 
I'd have thought they'd just get on with it and shoot it at angles where you couldn't see.
They hardly ever show man bits in movies anyway, it's all tities and vags everywhere
 
Sex scenes in movies involve the actors actually getting hot and sweaty, so yeah they do get erections and they simply use the best camera angles to prevent the viewers from looking at their erected wangs. There.
 
Aren't there prosthetic socks for penises during sex scenes or something? I remember reading somewhere about James Marsters having to wear one for the sex scenes in Buffy, and Sarah Michelle Gellar kept tugging on it to torment him...

it depends a lot on the director i think, and what the actors are actually willing to do. shia labeouf is shooting a film called nymphomaniac right now where all the sex scenes are genuine.

I would hate to be the girlfriend/wife of a movie star for this reason...I get jealous enough just having my BF look at girls let alone have them in bed with one for work :rage:

Yeah, porn is not art, so I don't think there's any justified reason for anyone to actually fuck the person while in a relationship. I guess art is subjective, but come the fuck on.

Sex is gross. Don't have sex, you'll get pregnant and become deceased.
 
The only reason a sex scene should be used in a movie is to establish a relationship between two people (Like they did in Bridesmaids) But even then it is unnecessary as you can easily cut from them kissing with their clothes on to them lying in bed or some shit... And even THAT isn't necessary...

I heard about that. I'd have to draw the line at shagging for a film role. Actor or not, there's just no way I would do it, if I happened to be a famous actor... or if Tom was, there's no way I'd be allowing that shit to happen :mokken:

I think there's a line, and real sex scenes are just crossing it imo. I can just go watch porn if that floats my boat
