Blue Hawaii in VII?! xD

I was just wondering... why is there a drink in VII called Blue Hawaii??

Here's its picture;

I thought VII was an AU??? If it's an AU Hawaii doesn't exist there. What does this mean?? That VII is part of our world just not fully?

It could just be a translation thing. The english speaking people could have just thought it would be funny to add in there. Hawaii does not exist in the world of Final Fantasy seven, so that's my theory...

Correction. All the characters are translated to a language we can understand, making the story fun and interesting. The really speak final fantasy 7 ian, if you want to go there.

In the strictest sense FFVII does exist. It was created by the game developers so theoretically speaking Hawaii does exist as a place in the game... outside of the natural world of FFVII.

For example, if a creator of the natural world we live in lives in a world where there's a place called Jifdesnfd, I could say that although not present in our natural world the place of Jifdesnfd does in fact exist.

I think that it would be different if we were living within the FFVII world. They'd probably have their own name for the drink. However, since we are witnessing the events shown to us by the creators of FFVII we see the world through the eyes of people living on Earth.

They use the Blue Hawaii drink so that the player can be instantly familiar with what it is, without them having to have an NPC describing what the contents of the drink are, or something like that. Chocobo on the Beach would probably have confused or horrified players.
