Blood in Final Fantasy

I want an FFVIII remake too.


This cutscene with blood please. :hmph: I couldn't find a video that just showed the cutscene with music. You'd need to trek through ten minutes of video to find it.
 
I'd say 11+, the rating these games were is enough to get away with putting blood in it nowadays. :hmph:
 
But according to research, thick red liquid coming out of people scares children. :hmmm:
 
It wouldn't stop them playing them, anyway. My nephew was on Mortal Kombat by the time he was like, 5 ¬_¬
 
Yes. And Seymour killing 4 guards and a middle aged man, converting them into glowing trails of light that represent death, and using them to mutate into something grotesque is friendly for children. :hmph: As is his own body turning against him when it gets weak and absorbing health from him, before he writhes, convulses, and explodes in a shower of those same lights that represent death. :hmph:

Also friendly is a woman from the future possessing a loved one time and time again and using her to kill you, while you face the task of having to kill her. That's soooo friendly. :jtc:

Kids are stupid. :hmph:
 
If they have women prancing around in hotpants, a little blood shouldn't be a problem. :hmmm:

Alternatively, it could have the complete opposite effect.

Kids seems to be attracted to cod, halo, gta etc because of the killing.

We could have hundreds of 11 year olds posting.

Jesus fuck no.

I just want a little blood. It'd make me feel more immersed in the game instead of thinking the FFVII characters are Lego blocks and the FFVIII characters are rubber mannequins.
 
The Purge was pretty dark thinking about it, countless innocents getting killed all because they MAY be branded l'Cie. And that scene where
the bridge collapsed and numerous civilians including Hope's mum fell to their death
was pretty distressing too. Oh, and
the Oerba village where the only ones left remaining are mindless monsters.
 
Don't forget about the trail of blood you had to follow in the Shinra building. You follow that up until you see the president himself dead with a sword sticking out his back.

Just kidding. Just Kidding.

Square Enix definetely does need to put some more work into the blood work, it adds a more real feeling.
 
How about just focusing on making the next game good?
