Not sure if this has already been done or not but i'll do it anyway, in what order would you put the FF series in? from the best one you've played to the not very good ones.

My order would have to be FFVII, FFX, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX-2 and FFXII
 
I'm only going to include the main series in my list, I'm not messing around with spinoffs and the like, I'd be here forever.

Yes, FFVIII has gone up in my estimation. It's a really good game. Although it lacks the magic that VII, X and Ix have, it's still pretty good.
 
FF7, FF6, FF4, FF9, FF5, FF8, FF1, FF2, FF10, FF11, FF12

Not including spin-offs or Tactics games.
 
How can you even think of placing FFXII along with FFX-2?
Here's what I think: FFX, FFVIII, FFVII, FFXII, FFIX, FFVI, FFIV, FFIII, FF Tactics, FF Tactics Advance, FFV, FFII, FFI, FF Tactics Advance 2,









FFX-2.
 
For me it is:

VII, X, VI, XII, V, IV, VIII, IX, FF T, FF III, FF I, FF II, FF VII DoC, FF MQ.

VI has not been aging too well and as I am playing it again, I don't find it as good as I remembered it, so it is falling down on my list. On the other hand, X grew on me after I played it a second time a couple of months ago and VII basically cemented itself as my favorite after I played it again recently.

So...it IS that bad, eh? I've been tempted to get it, since it is so cheap, but loving X as much as I do, I don't want it to ruin it.

I wanted to put FFXII lower, but it isn't as bad as X-2
 
Time to cause some controversy:

1. FFXII - Sidequests, story, graphics, environment - wonderful
2. FFVIII - Hate the character backgrounds and Rinoa, but everything else = <3
3. FFVI - Epic game is EPIC
4. FFX - Auron FTW. Nice story, pretty much everything is decentt though somethings are like...wow, a bit hard yeh?
5. FFTA - Gameplay maybe repetitive, but it is surely addicting
6. FFIV - Not bad for an early game!
7. FFIX - Great sidequests, however, though it was a decent game, it's not something I would talk about all the time.
8. FFXII:RW - Gameplay better then the story tbh
9. FFX-2 - Lacked in story, and some other..things, but made up for it with Dresspheres, and some Gameplay aspects
10. FFIII - It was fun, rather challenging at parts, but I got kinda bored..
11. FFV - Hard. I get stuck at the same part every time.
12. FFVII - A lot of characters bugged me, and I only liked bits of the story.
13. FFII - Harddd
14. FFCC - Poor excuse for a game..
15. FFI - >_> Ridiculous

Think that's it. :gasp:
 
From what I've played...


IX-Probably my favorite game of all time! The characters were interesting, the plot was good, the minigames and sidequests were fun, and the graphics gave the game a very "classic" feel to it. My only concern is that the fourth disk was a real letdown. 9/10

XII- Haven't finished this yet, either. My only concern is the fact that there are tons of dungeons and deserts, but the sidequests are entertaining and the hunts are fun, so I still say it's a good game. 8/10

VI-Haven't finished, but I still say it's a great game! I really like the main characters, the storyline is great, the villain is amusing, and it's overall a good game. 8/10

X-Although it was a cool game, the main characters really annoyed me, with the exception of Lulu and Seymour. And to me, good characters make a good game, but for some reason everyone else got on my nerves, even Yuna. It wasn't a bad game, it was just lacking in a few areas. 7/10

V-Oh dear lord...what can I say about this game other than, "Thank God I got Anthology so I could get a better game!" Terrible characters, bad storyline, bad graphics...urgh! 3/10

Not finished V yet but that game is really pecking my head.......and Im including II even though I only got like an hour in because I haaaated it

And I'd say the top 3 were joint 1st....

FF1 and FF2 are only low because I've yet to play a decent amount to rate them higher but X-2 is at the bottom for obvious reasons closely followed by XII because it liked development in nearly every department. :monster:

IX - It's pretty obvious I'm a IX fanboy.
XII - I loved this game, even with it's glaring flaws.
III - I just had so much fun playing this game. It's difficulty made up for it's lack of plot and characters.
X - OK game. Decent plot (although sometimes confusing) and some good characters.
VII - Only up to the Temple of the Ancients (before Aerith gets axed), but it's a nifty little game, despite some of the characters who bore me and slow plot.
X-2 - Yes, even this game is better than VIII in my opinion.
I - I had more fun PWNing the crap out of everything on this game than Drawing magic ...
VIII - ... No comment.
 
Well, mine would be: FFX, FFXII, FFVII, FFIX, FFVIII.
I loved FFX. For my first FF it was a great experience. I loved the storyline and characters. Second would be FFXII. John Morrison is not alone in liking FFXII. FFXII offers so much in every department from gameplay, to story and sidequests, etc. FVII is another great title. I liked the story and the gameplay was entertaining. FFIX is a great game. The story is good and I like the characters, but the slow pace of the battles drag it down on the list. FFVIII is last, even though I liked the gameplay, but I simply didn't like the story.
