For those who wants to make a banner for the Seamus skin, here's the info from LG:

Banner: 1920 x 121 - http://finalfantasyforums.net/images/Seamus/misc/gaming-banner.jpg
Logo: 280 x 121 - http://finalfantasyforums.net/images/Seamus/misc/logo2.png
Text: Final Fantasy Forums
Subtext: Unofficial Community to Final Fantasy


Logo is optional. Probably best to just stick with banner.

Now, notice how the default banner is cut off when placed on the header. You can probably get away with 1500 or 1600 pixels in length. Tested it on Photoshop, though it's entirely up to you if you do decide to stick with 1920 pixels. Just expect the sides to be cut off a bit.

We'll make a voting poll and decide which one we all like best.

question, like on the old one where we had buttons to all the sub sections on it, are we doing that again?
 
Question here as well,

Do we have to stick with the banner's current height, or can we make it just a little bit bigger, say, 200x - 250x?
 
Upping the height will either resize it, or cut the picture off, so I think you're best off sticking with the current size given. :hmmm:
 
I was going to take part in this but! the size is confusing me. I think I'd probably go on a rage fit if I made a banner and had a majority of the gfx that i did to it cut off because the forum resizes it. :wacky:

I hope Ari and Kira will make some gorgeous banners. :ari:

Cali, I suppose it doesn't matter, though try to keep it at three maximum.

Actually, apparently the height isn't fixed, so you guys can make a taller signature if you want. Kyoshiro Six The Meddler
 
@Mitsuki, what Stevie meant, I think, are the buttons Ryan's banner had on the side. "Final Fantasy VII, VIII, XIII" etc. That took you to the specific sections.

Although I would like to know the specific size in width for this, like Cali said, so I don't waste banner space. :hmmm: Any idea?
 
I'm gonna have a go at this too. :) It would be good to know the max height, just so we don't waste space, as Six said. :hmm: The current height is very hard to work with. :wacky:

Mits just stated the height automatically adjusts, however, the width is what I'm asking for though. That way we don't have cut off sides. :ryan:
 
Sorry about that, Raul. Banner is what I meant, yes.

For the max height...I'm not putting a limit on it, since it's adjustable. Maybe something similar to Ryan's old banner would be adequate, though I can't remember what the height was. Probably 200 pixels.

As for the exact width, we really don't know. From the looks of the current banner, it looks to be around 1500 pixels. I tried a 1500 pixels on photoshop and compared it to the actual size of the banner (1920 pixels), it appears to be close. The easiest way to do it (if you're working with 1920 pixels) is to save the current banner on photoshop, open it up, and use that as a comparison. That way you can kinda see and get an idea of how much will be cut off on the sides and decide where to place your images. All in all, it'll be a tedious process.

I am not too happy with the one I have submitted, and I want to make one with a greater height.

Perhaps a collab too?
