Am I the only miserable git out there that wants xmas to hurry up and pass?
I have't put my tree up, Iv barely started my xmas shopping and it's REALLY getting on my nerves now (altho I'm looking forward to getting my DS)
Maybe it's because Iv had a shitty year or maybe Iv just got old and miserable....
What's everyone elses views?

It's sort of upsetting...I'm not even looking forward to Christmas the way I have in the past. Basically, it's because I have to leave school because of Christmas/winter break. That means leaving my boyfriend and my friends. And I'm going abroad in the spring, so I won't see them for a looong time. Also, my mum is really sick, so I sort of dread seeing her because I....don't really want to see her in such a bad condition. Even though that's selfish. I've also been soooo busy that Christmas shopping has been more of a hassle than a joy. D: It makes me sad.

I hate the fact that you just can't go anywhere without the taxis charging you the price of a mortgage. I have to spend 3 days at my mums house because I wont be able to get home
Traffic is a nightmare, the buses are always rammed and Im tired because of all the partying (I can't believe I just said that - but I am getting sick of partying now) Im staying in on newyears eve with a dvd and my cat....

I haven't heard Slade much this year, sadly. But I'm fucking sick of hearing The Pogues. Which saddens me.
The best thing about Christmas day is that I'll get a lie in indefinitely.
Can't wait for 08 though.

I just like the fact we get extended holidays in work because of it. The day itself brings only mild excitement - albeit only in the morning.

Well, I'm only 15 but I don't get as excited about Christmas as I used to.. When I was younger it was the best thing ever and December was always such a magical time, but now I just don't get in the spirit anymore. My favourite part about it is the Christmassy atmosphere and events at school, but I'm not even at school now for another two weeks, which means that I won't see my friends for ages (especially now that I have no money to do anything with them because I'm skint after buying presents).
