I want to upload a new avatar, but everytime I do, a message comes up. It says: "Unable to save image".

What's going on?

As you know the forum was hacked and there are some problems that are being fixed. Don't worry you'll be able to upload avatars in no time.

Well, I just tried it again. No luck at all.

Chances are the coding got messed up as the memory got erased. The test upload probably works fine, but the members doesn't.


Admins only!:
Check your storage type:

Admin CP -> Avatars -> User Picture Storage Type

If you are storing avatars in the file system, then make sure it is pointing to a writable directory.

Thanks for clarifying the issue and making it easier for me instead of spending hours just to figure out what's causing the problem, SV.

It's all fixed now. Lemme know if it's working now though.
