Sooo my question today is are you planning to import FF Type 0 in anyway. im planning to buy the game off the Japanese psn store because it looks awesome yet their no plans for a western release sooo i decided to try the jp version... but what you planning to do

I think there are rumors that they are localizing the game.

I don't have a Psp. I will most likely get a ps vita next year and download the game from psn if it's localized. The game is looking and sounding good.

Will I import from Japan? No, but if a collector's edition is announced for Europe, I'll probably grab that (since I grabbed all but Lord of Arcana of the PSP collector editions from S-E).

Nope. Don't have a PSP anymore and I don't do the whole PSN thing.

I'm just sticking with the PS2 and PS3 these days. Too much stuffing about trying to download/import games. >.<

Who knows though. I might eventually gain interest if it's appealing enough. >.<

It would depend if i could understand the content and if it was definately not getting an EU release..

If Square Enix give a definitive no to localization, and it went for a respectable price - i.e. £30 or under - I'd consider it, provided there were some Let's Play tutorials or something to guide me through the Japanese stuff. I don't make a habit of playing Japanese games, but Type-0 looks like a giant fanfiction in video game format, so I think it'd be a laugh.

I'm going to wait for a localization announcement first. If it doesn't get localized, then I might consider importing it.

Goodness, no.

Even if Type-0 turns out to be the best Final Fantasy game that's left Square Enix HQ since FFXII, I wouldn't ever flirt with the idea of importing it. I'd rather understand the content and have it in English rather than try and juggle through the kanji in vain hopes of trying to get some sense into the game, otherwise I'd hardly get any enjoyment out of it, if at all. And if they don't want to localise it, then that's too bad. I won't lose much sleep, but I will be briefly biting my lip in frustration at the fact that we're getting FFXIII-2, the sequel I never wanted, instead of Type-0.

Same for me :hmmm: And after that God awful demo, it's gonna take a lot more to make me want to even buy it if it gets an English localization :hmph:

Hmm, nah. I am really looking forward to Final Fantasy Type-0 though. I would not want to import it, mostly because I want an localization. Square Enix will have to end up doing it. It looks really interesting, and I quite love somethings about the characters. It really looks like there will be lots of twists and turns. I will get more enjoyment out of having the game in English obviously. It just will not feel the same when I look over the internet for translations.
