Are hoodies vampires?

Mandi, you must be the first person apart from Damon who has ever quoted me.

My version of vampire is:

Become resistant to the sun the more ancient they are, although the spot where they are bitten is always vulnerable. So they keep it hidden.
Their senses are heightened, etc. BUT THEY DO NOT SPARKLE IN SUNLIGHT.
They all have crimson eyes, but they can have coloured contact lenses. The crimson colour turns darker the more hungry they get. EYE COLOUR DOES NOT DEPEND ON DIET.
They can sleep, although this can be rarely done i.e. depending on strength, wounds, etc.
Their bodies aren't like marble or walls, bullets can penetrate them.
Only burning a vampire's body truly kills them.
They can get hurt and bleed.
If a person whose blood they've sucked, but hasn't died or been turned, the vampire can sense their presence when they're near.

Those are the rules I've brought up for my own vampire story I'm currently working on.
