AOTW 53 Voting Thread

[Saga]

This weeks theme was Blue. All entries are based around blue!

[Big Casino]

1. Love it. Love the colouring and the hazy white light around it. The small touches of red are nice, it gives the icon a bit of depth. A fish was a great way to represent the theme aswell. The background could maybe be a bit blurred, i think that would make it look better, help the focal a little, but I think im just being fussy to be honest. Border finishes it off. Excellent work.

2. I really like this one. My main critique is the size...which i know is a horrible way to judge something but i cant help it. I think theres too much space there. Had the artist used a smaller canvas the c4d would fill it better and i wouldnt be looking around so much, it would have a better focal.
I think a border would have been a nice add. Had this been 100 square it would have probadly gotten my vote.

3. AH i love this one aswell. The artist has made great use of the colours. The white light is in all the right places and the icon is so shiny and smooth, i love the text though it took me a second to decipher ''it might'' The border looks fantastic, it gives it a framed finish.

This one was really really hard for me to decide on. However i went with number 1.
1 and 3 were on par on artistic skills imo and id easy have voted for both. However 1 tipped the scales due to the chosen stock. I think it was a better choice to represent the theme.

I'd have probably really liked number 2 a lot more if it was smaller.

But eh, I guess it can't be helped.

Kinda just looks like a C4D was slabbed on there with a few lighting effects, but meh. I don't really know, I've been out of the game for a while.

But just simply; it seems to be best fitting the theme of 'blue' for me.

1 straightaway caught my eyes (not cos it's the first one). I just loved the effects and the lightness of the colour in it. But Well Done to the others!

i vote for no. 3. the artist used the colours well. the lighting is well done. its not out of place, its all coming from one light source. i think the only problem i have with it is the beginning of the text is hard to read.
