Im torn between 1 and 2, although it's only really the use of colour I like in the first one, I really liek the image and the dark background in the second one, it all just looks really good, so I gues Ima vote fer number 2
 
The colour is really nice in number 1, and I like how it's looking up at a tall building from the bottom. The lighting is also good.

Number 2 is pretty cool, I like the idea too. I thought it was a little dull though, although I did like how the house is glowing around the edges like it's been struck by lightning.

Number 3 is nice but it didn't really stand out much to me, the image just seemed a little faint. <_< And I'm not that crazy about the text in it.


I'm going to with 1.
 
I likes the #2. The house really pops out at you with the light glowing around it. Simple reason, but that's pretty much it.
 
1. Its a well positioned avatar. The stock fits nicely and the text is good. I like the overlay blending mode on it.......it needs border

2. Again good placement and good text and the effects are great but the dry lack of colour annoys me, id suggest adding a gradient map to spice it up.

3. I think this one has the most done to it in terms of brushing etc but i dont like the text or the yellow it clashes too much with the pink and white thats also there. TH stock however is positioned well. I was actually gonna make an entry for aotw with a sydney opera house stock but i couldnt make it work so kudos to the artist as its not an easy image to work with.

EDIT - oh yeah i have to vote. Hard choice but im going with 1.

All the three are made well done. All are almost in same level of skills.
But my vote goes to no# 2, since it represents BUILDING more to me even though it's used simpler stuff to design. Yet it was so close.
 
#1 for me. Liked the overall colours and the texture as well, the font and text goes brilliantly with it as well, well done to other people who entered!
 
1 is good, great composition overall. I almost didn't see the text there for a minute.

2 is pretty cool, nice choice of text and really made the avatar spooky, that's for sure.

But I'm voting for 3. I love everything about it, really. Really captures the beauty of the avatar and the colors are eye-catching to me. It's somewhat glossy-looking too and the text is pretty neat.
 
Gotta vote for number 1. I adored the colours used, and the text used in #2 swung my vote. I thought the font was a little too big in #2, but it was perfect in number 1.
