A Few Ideas aswell as Updates/Improvements To Already Exsisting Sections

This place needs improvments...


I like it but it needs stuff.

I mean....I will put this as simply as possible.


It is BLAND! around here. This dead gray is really boring lol. My suggestion:

NEW SKINS!!!

Perhaps some brighter color skins. like ones of Zack,Aerith,Genesis,Sephiroth,Angeal, all on one, like a Crisis Core skin. something brighter! spice this place up.


Improvements to Already Exsisting Sections-


The KH sections is perfect for an example:

There is a KH3 forum when it hasn't even been confirmed yet. But we DO have three games that have been confirmed.

Get rid of the KH3 thing and add something called: "Future Of Kingdom Hearts" in here you can discuss anything relating to the future of KHS. with three sub-forums about the three games...like the FFXIII section...

We are already considering new skins, but the problem is that we need someone to do them and implement them. Furthermore, we're having problems with people using text that doesn't show up well on this skin, and if we added a new one, we'd have to find a color that works well in both, or have some way of dealing with that problem.

As you can see, we are currently without a tech admin, and can do not much about these things until we get one. We are in the process of considering one right now though, so recommendations may not be necessary.

I quite agree with this. They're soon to be subjects quite popular with fans and new-comers alike, so it only makes sense to accommodate the imminent with such a teensy amendment.

We're in the processes of getting a new tech admin, so just be patient with us. We do have plenty of changes in mind for this forum, so just chill. Hopefully, once this tech is approved by the site owner, things will be implemented. We ARE working on it, so don't think we aren't. In the meantime, you're just going to have to suffer with what we have at the moment. It'll be done when it can get done. Lack of tech admin makes things a bit difficult.

What about the sub-sections though? As far as I'm aware, regular admins have the power to manipulate and create sections.

I wasn't referring to the sub-sections. I was referring to the skin issues. Obviously we'll get to the sub-sections when either myself or Angelus gets the extra time to do it.

In the meantime, you're just going to have to suffer with what we have at the moment.

I don't think this issue is that serious. But I have seen some sights that have a 3-4 pick skin preference. So that you can see the sight/skin as you wish. Once saved the skin you choose will automatically pop up. But yeah "Chill" is best used on this subject.

As far as the sub-forums they have been and always will be ever changing so again no biggie.

And of course this is all IMO so don't get all bent about it....

And I'm noty arsed about skins, I actually quite liek this one, I'm more arsed about font colours not being readable, I swear if we get a lighter one and every fucker stars using black font I'l blow a fuse >_>

Most of these ideas have already been discussed within staff, so they are good ideas. =)

But, as most have said...we can't do the skinning until we get a Tech Admin, which...may be very soon. As for the sub-forums, there are a few that we could do without, so I'm sure it'll be looked into.

As for skins, if we get our current Tech Admin applicant approved, the first thing he's doing is making a new skin for the forum.

It'd save a lot more time if free skins from some site with vB hacks and such, even if it is just a temporary solution. That way there's less bother with people always complaining about the bland skin.

By the looks of it, we will have a new Tech Admin within the next week. According to him he can create a new skin in about a week [including having it beta tested and coded properly, since...according to Decado, there are a lot of bugs in the skin that need to be worked out], so...we don't need to use a temporary skin just yet.

Either way, the answer's still the same...we couldn't even do -that- unless we have a Tech Admin. xD

Skins sound good, however, I have an idea of my own, regarding the Writer's Boulevard. Why not separate fan fiction, poetry and original works? It would make it easier for those who want to read their favourite kind of writing.

For the new skins, i has a suggestion.

If we do get a new skin, I suggest we make it to do with one Final Fantasy. Just say if it was about FFX, it'd could be blue and have FFX characters on the banner.

On an old Naruto forum I go too, they have a Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke skin and you can choose between. The Naruto one is yellow with Naruto as the banner, Sakura one is pink and Sasuke one is blue.
