Game I'm pretty hardcore about about my Fantasy but I think at this rate I would rather not know the release date for XIII.

Sometimes I get flashes of what will go down in the story of ff XIII and glimpses of the gameplay in my dreams and it pretty sweet I'm so eagerly awaiting the day I can pre order this baby,YO!
 
They could integrate one into the forums.
I kinda want it to hurry up, but I also kinda don't so i guess i will just wait for in not knowing anything about it so it is better.
 
It's not being released on December 31st 2009, or around then as far as we know.
There has been no date of release in Japan let alone anywhere else, so you'll probably be looking at around Q1/Q2 2010.

I'm not that fussed about it tbh, I'l probably end up getting it...just for the sake of getting it, still it gives me time to play my back log of other games and replay XII which I know will take me forever,.....eugh
 
Don't you know by now to not rely on release dates? Until it is officially released in Japan, there is no way to be sure how long this game will take to release in the States. Ever since SE made the deal with Microsoft on Xbox, it might be quite a bit longer for FFXIII and FFXIII versus to be released in the states thanks to the "Simultaneous" release dates for ps3/xbox360.
 
This game will come out sooner than you think let us just have a nice time on the forums.
 
I thought Squenix had the plan to start doing worldwide simultaneous releases (as they did with Last Remnant.) Does this mean the Japanese PS3 version, and the NA PS3+XBox360 versions are all coming out at once? Or is it going to end up like the past where here in the US/Canada we're gonna be waiting an extra 6 months for a release (moreso if you're in Europe)?

I know we don't know any specific dates as of yet... I'm just curious how Square Enix's new marketing policy may relate to FFXIII.
 
Is it actually that long till it comes out??? not really much point getting excited is there? No doubt il have long forgotten about it by then, and ill see it on the shelf and immediately buy it

That's exactly what happened to me with FFXII :P Except, I realized it was out soon enough to get the pretty metal case. I think part of the reason I loved FFXII so much was because I didn't get caught up in all the hype. For that reason I'm trying to refrain myself from getting too excited for the Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation. Especially since they probably aren't going to come out until 2010... possibly 2009.
 
Wow. That is a pretty long wait. I am gonna also try to refrain from the hype, because it will just make the wait seem 10x longer for me. But... it's so hard. I am so eager for this game, it looks amazing. Well, Just another year or so to go... :(
 
i wish they did a world wide release date like at midnite of a particualr day as we would get it first being a head of the rest of the world =D
 
It is quite a long time to wait, but I'm not going to trust those numbers or estimated release dates until I hear it from a credible online source or preferably Squenix themselves.

I'm guessing FFXIII will release before FFXIII: Versus though? Maybe? Simultaneously? Anyone?
 
I think it's going to be a simultaneous release. Obviously that's only for the PS3, as the 360 version will come out much later and will not come with Versus. I'm actually alright with that though, as odd as it seems...

I'm kind of tired of playing the NA version a game, only to find out that there is so much more bonus content in the International version. So since this time it's going to be a PS3 release first, I'm going to wait for the 360 version and hope there are some more bosses and extra features, not to mention new DLC.

Probably. Square Enix takes ages developing its Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy XII was in development for 5 years when it eventually arrived in the UK. Final Fantasy XIII is going to take just as long – it’s already been in development for 4 years. If I had to throw out a guess, I would say that Final Fantasy XIII won’t be out until Christmas 2009, at that’s being optimistic.
 
this is when u want to be japanese as you can find information out a lot easier i have gotten interviews from people who have talked about game releases and helps give a clearer picture on whats in store
 
I'm very excited for this game. FFXIII is going to put a big hole in my wallet since I'm getting all three versions at the same time.... or I'm hoping I do anyways.
 
It will not be a really long wait till the demo but to the game it will be very long. Well just keep doing fun stuff and post on the forum and it should not be a long wait till FFXIII comes out.
