Those are the prices that it all should have been in the first place.

I expect most people who actually wanted the DLC would have bought it on the day, so I'm not sure I see the point to this. Still, I suppose for those who haven't bought it that it will be welcomed, and it might generate a few extra sales somehow. Too bad it's for FFXIII-2...I think they'd be better served by lowering the prices of the FF games on the PSN for a time again, to be honest.

I can take a guess how much that is in terms of converting them into £'s and well I wish they were that price from the on set and I would of bought more of it and not the limited amount I had. I loved some of the DLC in their own ways and I still haven't finished some of the Coliseum fights as of the moment. Either way I am sitting back and am waiting for Lightning Returns: FFXIII.

No, DLC is definitely region locked between games: I have a few US games that don't work with UK DLC, and I've not heard of any exceptions to the rule, so it's safe to say that this would hold true for FFXIII-2 as well. However, I see no reason at all why this wouldn't get reduced in the UK as well, so I doubt you have anything to worry about.

Thanks for posting this. Had no idea. Probably grab some of the boss battles. I do feel kind of dumb now for buying Sazh and Snow's DLC Episodes, especially since I never beat them yet :sad3:

I should take advantage of this promotion as well, seeing as how I didn't purchase the add-on DLC for Lightning and Sazh. I could get a few extra costumes as well! :p (yes, I was one of those fools who paid full price for a few costumes already... xD)

If this comes over to the UK XBL I will probably get what I haven't got already.
These are definitely the prices the DLC should of been though; then again most DLC for any game is pricey at the best of times.

I have noticed you always go out of your way to pan XIII-2. If you didn't enjoy the game fair enough, but why do you keep posting on the game's topics, You don't see me harping on at all the Final Fantasy XII posts...

all the Final Fantasy XII posts...

WHAT FFXII posts? There's like a new FFXII thread once every month. Anyway, back on topic. I bought Requiem of the Goddess. Sue me. I never thought I'd pitch into this Square Enix DLC whoring, but... I just couldn't refuse. Compared to the original price, I was willing to spend $2.50 so I could feel like I own the 'complete' XIII-2 story...

Ugh I'm such a gullible DLC scavenger. How dare I.

Seriously though, I have noticed you always go out of your way to pan XIII-2. If you didn't enjoy the game fair enough, but why do you keep posting on the game's topics, You don't see me harping on at all the Final Fantasy XII posts...

I don't bash on a particular game, I do however try to bash on shitty games when the occasion arises.

Some people get offended, and take games as a sort of personal pride. Will never understand that.

To all the fan boys of anything that can't take a comment, David Caruso tells you:

Ok guys friendly warning before an admin or Mod comes into the thread, keep this on topic. :elmo:

and now back on topic...

I wish they would just make the DLC's cheaper overall, seriously all these DLC's barely add more than 2 hours to the game (unless you count how long it can take to kill some of the Boss DLC's ) I mean I am not going spend $60 more dollars on a $60 dollar game just to get 2 extra hours... And no XIII-2 isn't the first one to do this to DLC's, but yeah ok enough of my DLC rant :mokken:

As far as DLC goes, Square Enix is about as bad as anyone else I could name...perhaps even better than some. Much as I love the Disgaea series, the cost of the DLC for the third and fourth games is enough to make me cringe...the PS Vita port didn't come out for quite a while, and even after the game itself dropped in price, the DLC pack was £40. You could buy a new game for that. The Disgaea 4 DLC has reached similar heights...it's very painful on the wallet. It could definitely be worse.

No, the problem is that the game is a pile of shit to begin with, and having DLC for it that doesn't really add anything to it doesn't make even the slightest difference. If DLC were to be valued by the number of hours it added to a game's lifespan, or the contribution it made to the game's lore, XIII-2's DLC wouldn't even be worth the reduced price, especially considering that, traditionally, arena DLC is free, and costumes are included as unlockables in the game as a part of sidequests; you gain nothing from it that you shouldn't have gained from the game itself. You shouldn't HAVE to purchase it. Even the scenarios aren't really worth it, because they don't last long enough, and XIII-2's "story" was unsalvageable to begin with; having a DLC in which Lightning fights Caius AGAIN isn't going to do anything to change that.

79p (or whatever it is now) for a costume isn't bad, though...you could get a song off iTunes for that.
