[20/08] Sazh Returns: FFXIII. No, he doesn't get a redesign either.

Here's a roster check of the confirmed returning characters so far:

Apart from Vanille, that leaves Sazh, aka the walking birds' nest who had a penchant for piloting airships and losing his son in a timeless casino in the Void somewhere. He'll be back for Lightning Returns, but like Noel, Hope and Fang, he hasn't the money anymore to change his clothes.

Hey, the money has to go somewhere more important. Y'know, like Lightning's wardrobe army.

... Seriously SE? Fuck you. Sazh is the best character in the whole XIII universe and they don't do shit with him. I mean they could atleast give him a new outfit or something? Something to show that they actually give a shit about his character.

It should not come off as a surprise that Sazh is not redesigned either. Lightning was pretty much the only one who got a change of clothes because she was chosen to be the liberator. It would make sense for the others to not get a redesign since the world is pretty much full of chaos and stuff has stopped aging. Snow probably has a reason for his change of clothes(end of Snow's episode in ff xiii-2) It would make sense since he is pretty much villain like in LR.

Anyway..... I am happy that Sazh is back. I just hope he is going to have a bigger role this time around. I thought his role in XIII-2 was heroic towards the end of the game.

Meh.....Sahz is a good character but he never seemed like the type to take the spotlight. I'm sure he's here for the same reasons hope and snow are back. And Caius?

Maybe this time around they will come to their senses and give Sazh a better part in this game, rather than a token spot in some DLC like in the last one.

Asides from Sazh and Vanille (because she was always good for a laugh for me), this game is looking painfully bad. I was thinking of getting it when the price went down to one a vagrant can afford, but now I'm even rethinking that decision.

Fuck yeah! I like this dude. He makes me laugh in a world that has no laughter... Or heroes. Lightning just doesn't do it for me. Anyway, it'll be cool to see him back and to see what he does in this game. I kinda do wish he had gotten a new model. Just to show how different he would look. Whatevs. It is what it is.

I'm just glad that he's here to be honest. They way SE was going it looked like they weren't even going to add him in at all haha.

Sazh is legendary in his own right. No need to change him. He's one of the most grounded, well-rounded characters throughout the entire series; that should be good enough for everyone.
