Square Enix made a deal with Ubisoft to add an Assassin’s Creed costume to Final Fantasy XIII-2 for the time-traveling hero Noel Kriess. Players will be able to dress Noel up in a costume based on Ezio Auditore in the future.

Mass Effect will have a similar collaboration, a source tells Siliconera, with a specially designed Mass Effect costume made for Final Fantasy XIII-2. Square and Electronic Arts working together? Don’t look so surprised, remember Square Electronic Arts LLC?

We’ll add this to the growing Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC wardrobe, which also includes an AKB-48 designed outfit, Beachwear for Searah, and Spacetime Guardian armor for Noel.

I imagine Noel in Shepard's getup and making it look awkward. I wonder how horrified Bioware would be when they see that monstrosity. Does this mean Serah can ditch her ridiculous Mog bow and use a cool, futuristic set of guns instead?

Well, Square-Enix have already been inspired by the Mass Effect games when they decided to put in the Live Trigger thing, so why not costumes too? Given the choice, I would easily just pop in a Mass Effect game anytime rather than bothering to pay a small fee to get this. :dave:

Some Japanese development studios are saying as well that Japan should stop focusing on the West so much.

This doesnt mean success at all. This is just a poor decision to make. FAILURE of the year! I dont see the combination/relation with ME and FF.

This so so stupid....

Stop giving us silly costumes and give us actual substance.

Before I grab a copy of FF VI and bash it over everybody at SE Staff. Maybe the game's good quality will hit into their brains.
:mokken:

I think this is just silly. DLC doesn't belong in Final Fantasy in the first place and having DLC costume crossovers from other games is just utterly ridiculous. So glad i don't own this game.

I second this.

I won't be buying either the AC DLC or this. I can't support this collaborative money grab in an effort to westernize Final Fantasy. I like the series for it's Japanese influence and sticking to its guns.

Aww, lighten up, people! This is a fantastic idea! Imagine Serah in Jack's getup, or Noel dressed as Grunt

This made my morning, it's absolutely priceless :tehe:

Eh I just dont see why we need a Mass Effect costume. At least with Assassins Creed, it's somewhat unique. Mass Effect is pretty much generic sci fi, shaved head and all
